Poor rats.
People never seem to understand that rats are not only common house-hold pets, but that there is a difference between the ones from the pet store, and the ones in the sewers in New York. They're so misunderstood...

@Ratsrule: I had the same thing happen all the time to me, and I even had people try to kick me out of stores. I told them it was a seizure rat!
@Todd: PICTURES!!!!
@Infuri: So true, everyone here is on YOUR side. We're all advocates for the rat-toot-toots here!

My rat Ben is going on 6 years old and he is healthy as a horse, minus the fact that he is over weight. He can't really fit into his wheel anymore razz xd But we had a problem with him a couple of weeks ago due to the condition of my old apartment with floods and what not, so he is over at my dad's for now crying

Awh I like Splinter...
Anyway though, I hate it when people get pissy over rats >< Alot of people are stupid though and if I have a rat they think its a mouse for some reason o.o
They're all like 'what a cute mouse!!'
I guess growing up in the country I knew the differnce between a whole lotta rodents, but people generally know mice are alot smaller than rats. So if they think that lard chunk on my shoulder is a mouse, how BIG do they think rats are? 4-5 lbs?
