xD Cool! Vintage stores are the best. I was at mine (well, I'm the favorite customer and the owners always give me lots of free stuff xD) this week and found a pair of tap shoes. Not high-heeled, though. That's the kind I want. I almost bought them. crying

However, I was at Goodwill the other day, and found a pair of vintage sixties Saddlebacks - white with black toes and heel. heart And they look a lot like Riff-raff's shoes from Rocky Horror. Hehehehe. I'm madly in love with them - they look so crazy! (However, I did get teased about them at school camp yesterday....this kid drew a picture of me in which I was shouting 'Look at me! I'm a lesbo coo-coo in golf shoes!'
Oh please. They're not golf shoes. Golf shoes don't come with heels, idiot.

Aww man, I get that too. This year we wear uniforms though....but we're allowed to accessorize. So I'll be wearing fishnet tights, eight-inch heels, scarlet lipstick, feathers in my hair, and cherry earrings. Yes.....I like to be noticed. razz

Anyway. One of the funniest times was when I was wearing my Marines jacket (it was a formal woman's jacket, about to my thighs) that's covered in political buttons and the kid in front of me started spewing bullshit like 'Haha, stupid hippie. Bet you haven't taken a bath for a month! Will you cry if I say I eat animals? My grandfather was in Vietnam, and he told me to shoot any hippies I see...."
I looked up at the last part. "Hey, I'm really sorry about your grampa. Looks like all that Agent Orange must have messed with his head."
"...Huh?"
"Oooh, and the damage was genetic!"
He didn't catch on. ".........I'm wearing an Army jacket," he said proudly, hoping to offend me.
"Oh yeah? So am I. Marines."
That's when he shut up. xP

Dumb kids xp

At my school we have to wear uniforms. No flashy accesories sad
So when we have civvies day [last friday of every month when you can dress however you want], I usually end up wearing a Beatles t shirt or something along those lines. And for some reason, like everyone has a problem with it. They always tell me that the Beatles suck and that they're the ugliest people ever. And I can't ever bring my iPod to school because for some reason, if you have an iPod everyone at my school feels the need they need to know what music you listen to. And then they see it's like a lot of Beatles and they can't ever keep it to themselves that they don't like them O.o Or really anything else I listen to aswell.

If only I lived in a city full of normal people like myself rolleyes

Y'know, we Gaians have a lot of awesome ideas, but I think this is one of the best ones yet. Howabout we go found a city somewhere? A city full of Beatlemaniacs.

Come here! We can have more Beatles fans! When I was in high school (just 2 years ago), if someone didn't know who the Beatles were, they'd be likely to say, "Who's that?" followed (after answering) by, "Oh, oldies music. I don't listen to that." Maybe, "Oh, too old for me." Not horrid. They didn't typically seem to say, "Oh, they suck!" I never got much disrespect about liking their music. Sometimes, I found someone who liked the Beatles and we could actually get to talking. Now if you liked a more recent band, then you could've gotten into some sort of argument.

xP Invasion of the Beatlemaniacs! That's what every town needs. We need to....go fourth and multiply! And divide! And square!
But. Um. Yeah. When I was first getting into them in seventh grade, every other word I said was somehow Beatles-related. I went around asking perfect strangers 'Hey, would you believe me if I told you I was being followed by a yellow submarine?'
Most of the time I was greeted with blank stares, but sometimes someone would say "Hey, I think I know where that's from..." but no one ever really reacted. Until one day in the lunch line, and old friend from kindergarten had come back to the school and was standing behind me. I said something about Beatlemania and she jumped and screamed 'DID YOU SAY BEATLEMANIA?!'
She was my best friend for about a year and a half after that. Then she started smoking crack. rolleyes

I used to do that ALL THE TIME.
That got me into a lot of trouble when I was in 7th grade...

I was planning to ask this guy out one day, but I wanted to incorporate The Beatles in there some where, so I did.

"Hey, um, wanna go have some pizza? ...Then we could Do It In The Road!"

Of course I didn't mean it, but he thought I did... I laughed my a** off that day.
