"Easy, eh?" He turned, and made a fireball ten times bigger hit a tree. "But heres is a harder one, making things come alive."

Adaric sighed, "Alot harder." He said simply, making a tree grow from the ground with no movement from him. "It's harder because you have to connect part of yourself to it. IF you dont, then it has no life. It also ties it to you. Thus, when it dies, a little piece of you dies."

The beautiful faerie flew on her wings, past the trees and the large field, where both male and female laughter could be heard--it's been so long since she heard laughter, it makes her inside ache--and rushed to the stream, where her two comrades were fighting against...
Was that...her jaw nearly dropped open, but she kept her composure. Shay always kept her composure. Her black hair was up in a sophisticated ponytail, and her eyes were a steely grey-blue, devoid of all emotion. She's spent the past few weeks looking for her adopted-mother's killer, with no luck. Of course she had trained herself to be devoid of all emotion.
She thought she saw a spark of recognition in Rosabella's eyes--of course Rosy recognized her, they were best friends...right?--but she had no time to act upon it. She separated the two people who were wrestling, then looked straight into the marine'e eyes.
"I know you," she snarled. "Coleman. That's your name. And if I'm right..."
"When have you ever been right, you stupid little girl!" Daddy roars, throwing a bottle of clear liquid at her. It narrowly misses her head. She glances over at Mommy's lifeless body, enraged, and murmurs a spell...and Daddy falls...
She shook herself from the painful memory, pinning the man to the ground.
"If I'm right..." she felt herself faltering. Someone was working magic on her. Someone unseen. D**n it! This is the third time since I've left...someone deceiving me... "If I'm right," she finished wearily, submitting, "...I don't know you."
With that, she rolled off of the marine, and collapsed in a fitful sleep of exhaustion and confusion.

Shay awoke to faces. I keep seeing faces, so many faces...
She rolled over and passed out once more.

Alice didn't wait for Adaric to answer before she started flying after her.
" Come on she looks like she might faint" these words had just left Alice's mouth before the fairy started yelling at someone, it was Coleman. So thats where they were?! Before Alice could say anything else Coleman yelled back and the fairy collapsed.
"What the heck? Coleman did you so that?" Alice was glad to see him but ignored that and dove down to the girl. She had a pulse but even Alice could tell someone was working magic on her.
"Sorry to interupt but someone is disabling her with some pretty strong magic" Alice called over to Coleman and Adaric, if he was even following. What the heck is happening here? Who is that girl with Coleman and why is Annabella just sitting there watching?
