Kai stalked forward and up to Xiah, "You like it here?" He grinned and looked around at the wildflowers, their fragrances dancing around him, teasing his senses.

"Oh I love it! Its so pretty, and nice, and calming!" she said with a smile, pawing him lightly. "You sure do live in a nice place..." she said softly, looking around.

Kai couldn't help but chuckle, "You live here, too!" He pawed her gently back.

Kai frowned and pawed her back again, "You say that like it's a bad thing - wandering in here. It's your home as much as mine!" He giggled and pawed her once more for good measure.

Twisted slowly turned to her cubs, they were sleeping so soundly curled up together. She nuzzles the pair as she turned and glanced at Sanura, and nodded. " Go be with my son." She said as she lifted both her newborn cubs in her jaws and lifted them up, soft mews were heard at the sudden movement.
She walked a bit awarkedly out of her nesting area, she padded towards the cave, she'd have to come back out some time. She glanced down at her cubs, she couldnt remember how'd she'd gotten with them in the first place. She sighed and knew she'd love them no matter what. She came into veiw of the cave, she continued forward.

The pastel colored lioness smiled at Twisted and then went by to the spot that Malamis had left her. He seemed really sad for some reason so she walked up to him and nuzzled his head. "Why the long face?" She gave him a small smile. The mistake she had made forgotten for the moment.

Xiah smiled softly. "Thanks Kai." she said, rolling over closer to him, stopping on his back-- Since, if she rolled anymore, she'd be ontop of him. she looked at him, and giggled lightly, before somehow shifting her weight, and ending up on her side.

Kai nodded and smiled back at her, "Of course. Anything." He settled down into the grass, now older and larger. He had aged slightly. He shifted until he was comfortable, and purred quietly a moment.

[-kicks the pride into Life- <3] [Can I guess a bit of time has passed? And they are back at the pride?]
Xiah let out a yawn, as she rested at the mouth of the den, her eyes wandering around for Kai. The lioness had grown... from but a small kitten, to a beautiful adult. A medalion now hung from her neck, that medalion having a shape of a Dragon on it... but that wasn't the only place with a Dragon. The crimson dragon that was once not so visable, now wrapped all the way up the front of her left forleg, and swirving up her back, then down again onto her left backleg. Beauty had reached the lioness compleatly...

((*waves a paw, demanding time pass and the pride ot become lively again*))
Before they knew it, the members of the Dragon Lands were growing older, and the seasons were changing. Much time had passed indeed. And while the lands and pride had not gotten any bigger, the members had, as had the relationships between them.
It was growing colder now, and the birds of the forest were leaving, slowly making their way south. The squirrels and other rodents were readying themselves as well, gathering food to store away.
The lions continued life as usual, and even spent more time outside, now that the sun no longer beat upon them ruthlessly. They spent more time exploring and playing, as opposed to relaxing in the cave or under the shade of the trees. Now was a merry time for all, as now was the time of autumn, which meant more freedom to the pride members.
Shaitani yawned widely. He was lounging just outside of the cave, watching his son stalk scurrying squirrels, their mouths full of nuts. Not much had changed lately, save for the weather, which he was enjoying, along with the rest of his pride.
Kai pounced a squirrel, though his paws cupped over nothing but thin air. "Waugh!" He wailed in annoyance as he peeked under his paws, expecting to see something there that he failed to feel. "They move too fast..."

Kiyoi lingered at the edge of what he knew were the lands of another pride, tiny ears twitching uncertainly as his tail waved slowly from side to side. His paws were sore, and there was a light cut running along his side -- nothing remotely serious, but enough to itch and sting when he moved the wrong way. Not at all pleasant.
It was as good a place as any, right? He wasn't sure if he'd find what he was after here, or if they'd even want anything to do with him... but if he was lucky, maybe they'd at least be willing to let him rest there for awhile? Couldn't hurt to try at any rate. So... lions were expected to roar to announce themselves, weren't they? He was pretty sure that was how it worked. Not that he really knew that from experience or anything, but better safe than sorry.
... question being, could he even really roar? Mewling he could do. Squeaking he could do. He did have this funky little psuedo-roar, if one could really call it that -- but that was more like a more growly squeak than anything else by this point. Not exactly loud and attention grabbing.
Better than nothing, though. He cleared his throat, straightened himself up, took a deep breath... and sure enough, gave one of the single most pitiful examples of a 'roar' there ever was.
He cringed, eyes darting from side to side. At least on the bright side, it was so quiet that odds were, nobody'd heard it. Which... sort of defied the purpose, but regardless...
The crimson and cream kitten paced from side to side for a moment, ever wary of the pride's boundaries. Okay, roaring was definately a no-go. So, failing that, he went for the next best thing.
"Heeeelllo~...? Hellloooooo~~?"
... at least it was louder?

Shaitani yawned, resting his head on his front paws. some strange sound had reached his ears, but he wasn't sure what it had been... exactly. He figured it was just Kai moaning in frustration, until he felt his sons's paws on his nose.
"Daaaad! I think there's a lion at the border!" he whined, trying to get his father to pay attention. "We should go check it out!"
Shaitani mummbled, "You're imagining things..." and swatted his son's paws from his nose.
"But daaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.....!"
With another mutter, the king rose and shook the dead grass from his stomach, before he actually heard a faint cry from not too far away. He raised an eyebrow quizzically at his son before bounding off in the direction of the cries.
"Wah! Don't leave me behind!" shouted Kai, running after his father in a futile attempt to catch up.
Shaitani came upon a dark red cub, trying to capture the attention of his pride members. He blinked owlishly at him before sitting himself down and looking down his nose ot the cub, "Hello there."

"Kai Liu!" Xiah called over to the cub. "You might want to stay here..." she said, bounding over to him quickly, and practicly sliding to a stop infront of him, smiling lightly, bending down to nuzzle his neck softly.

Kai slid to a stop, and eyed Xiah slyly, "Why?" he asked, pursing his lips into a pout. He and his dad hadn't done much together since his mother had left. This was his chance!
