Balamwezi strolls into the jungle looking for his love, he had not set foot in the jungle before so this land was all new to him. He knew it would be difficult to find Neema as she was green, so was her surroundings, looking high and low for her he finally finds her quietly snoozing under neath a tree. He quietly tip toes towards her, then softly lies down next to her, putting his arm around Neema and licking her head in affection to let her know he was there, he purrs quietly and cherishes the moment.

The lioness slowly stirred, honey-coloured eyes slowly blinking themselves into focus, a fearsome yawn escaping her maw as her vision finally focussed, allowing her to spot Balamwezi's paw on her body.
"Hey, Bala.. I've missed you," she purred loudly, sitting up slowly before embracing him in a lion-like hug, nuzzling his rugged mane. "You must've had some trouble spotting me, I blend in pretty well.."

Athari did laugh aloud at Bakhti's statement. "You'd break the branches trying to climb as high as us, because you're so heavy." he retorted. "And I would have no issue with your making your life more difficult by choosing to live in the jungle--however, your initial rudeness GIVES me reason to object--this is my home, and I resent interlopers who refuse to give me and my kind the respect we deserve as such." he finished, tail curling around his hind leg. "I visited a lion pride in the pridelands, and so have no quarrel with lions as a general rule, or with your friend--but with you...unless your attitude changes, you'll find out how much of a pest a leopard can be." he said, flashing sharp canines in a grin.

She looked to him and rolled her eyes, "I have no quarrel against you anyway I do have with her as she tried to own this jungle immeadiatly. I want to live here for now at least as it is a calm place. I dont want to fight with you leopards I just want to live here and I am sorry." She was being honest to the leopard and didn't want to fight with him but it was the other one that had annoyed her and she didn't want to let it go to easily.

With a smirk, Tamani glanced back upon the other of her kind who came up to join her. Amusing, another'd been in the jungle. Well, no need to show hostility towards him just yet. He could help her in a way. Purring out of sheer defiance, Tamani allowed him to do all the talking for now, although she had to work hard to bite her tongue and refrain from snippy comments. The female lion was about as smart as a rock, apparently, oblivious to the laws of the jungle. While she may be "queen" of the savannah, she held no weight here. Tamani was quite simply queen and ruler of her domain and made it quite clear already of that fact.
Tilting her head from first Athari, to the lioness, Tamani continued to enjoy the exchange, watching her fellow leopard in action. He didn't seem all that bad, for an outsider. Once she was mentioned again however, she did calmly turn her jaded eyes back at the young lioness. "Quarrel with me all you want. It won't change the fact that you, a mere lion, are trespassing in someone else's territory. I don't go flouncing around like some crazy spider monkey claimig I have every right to be in your home and can do as I like, etc etc. You should learn your manners well, before you step into the realm of others." Tamani's voice had been soft, purring, alluring and above all, dripping of sarcasm and feigned sweetness. However, as she raised herself into a crouch upon her limb, her tone became sickeningly vile. "I do not appreciate rude trespassers. While your companion seems to be quite... aware of the dangers here, you do not. Learn well, young lioness. The jungle is full of more dangers than you've ever dreamed of." Glancing to Athari to make a point, Tamani continued. "I'll let it go this time, seeing as you obviously know not of how to curb your manners. However, if I hear cries for help because you've landed your pretty behind in quicksand, or tangled yourself beyond hope in some vines, I'll turn the other cheek. Because you can't say I didn't warn you. Beware pretty lion, you'll learn the hard way why it's MY jungle, and not yours..."
With that said, Tamani had nothing more to say to the newcomers. If that didn't strike fear in their hearts, they'd learn the hard way. And if nothing else, she'd swing by with a big 'I told you so' before going upon her merry way once again. Indeed, Tamani was provoking, but she made very valid points. There were reasons why she was able to claim this jungle as her own. She knew the dangers here like the back of her hand. Where food bedded down for the night, where the crystal clear untouched pools of water were...This was her home, she'd been born here and she'd be damned if she'd leave. Hopping to another tree, almost completely silently, Tamani continued back towards the tree in which she'd bedded herself earlier. She left enough of a trail for Athari to follow, if he so chose. His company would be....welcome. For a time...

Bakhti rolled her eyes and sighed looking over at Amari. From what she had grown to know a place was for taking unless other lions were found there. She didn't know much about the jungle as they wouldn't if they wandered away from the jungle as she suspected they couldn't live on their own out there. She was happy here and would live here if she pleased. Water was plenty and food was near if not going outside the jungle would not be hard to track some sort of meal. As the leopard walked off she thought she may add something, "We will live here for now, maybe not forever but that is of our own choosing. I know of two fully grown adult lions who may decide to live here and if they do they are the ones who will be calling for help. We may not be as agile as you are but we know how to survive." She didn't want a reply from either of the leopards as she waited for Amari to say something. She wasn't normally this rude past events had made her pretty harsh to alot of creatures.

Athari shook his head. "For one your age, it's apparent to me that you lack any sense of wisdom at all." he said, tail lashing in vague irritation. "You come into our territory, behave as if it's YOURS, and then have the gall to act as though my companion," he used the term loosely "has behaved badly when she seeks to reaffirm her claim on this particular area--I wonder how you would react if another creature--say a pack of hyenas--suddenly arrived and told YOU that your claim on this area meant nothing?" he said, choosing to leave it at that as he took off after Tamani, leaving nary a bent twig to mark his passing.

Bakhti didn't bother with anyone anymore she just wanted to be away from everything. She turned to the other leopard, "Keep your jungle but I aint the one you will deal with." She spat at him as she made her way away from the leopards and away from the jungle. She didn't belong there and was starting to wonder if she belonged anywhere or if she would just wander for the rest of her life alone as Amari had left her now.
She yawned and stretched as she made her way out of the jungle. Her feet being dragged along as she reluctantly leaved. She didnt want to leave the jungle it was peaceful but she also didn't want to fight the leopards and she had a feeling the two strangely coloured lions would be moving in so she thought it best to leave. She thought about visiting Maawio but didn't know if that was such a good idea.

(( eep, missed a lot ))
Amari glanced between the leopards and Bakhti, watching as the older lioness retreated back into the trees. With a small sigh he glanced once more to the spotted felines and took another step back. They made him slightly nervous, especially being so high up.
With a twitch of his tail he dashed off through the trees praying they wouldn't follow him.
((this is the point where Amari goes to the southlands and meets Asi ))

Balamwezi strolls in hopefully to find that Neema follows him. He tries to find a nearest leaf to hide under before Neema comes in to jump out on her. He looks around, no where to hide for a big blue lion like himself, one of the downfalls of being not a natural colour. Instead he finds a nice warm spot to sleep, getting a few leafs together to put on the ground so Neema would be comfy and wouldnt get a dirty coat, he lies down onto the leaves and day dreams of what him and Neema would become, her being his queen, all the little Neema's and Balamwezi jr's running around ,having their own tribe of bright colours. He falls asleep thinking about his future with Neema.

Neema ambles along slowly, finally finding Balamwezi -- why it took so long is beyond belief, since a big blue lion as beautiful as Bala can't be hard to miss! -- before laying next to him, fitting snugly against his fur. She listens to his breathing for a while, purring loudly before licking his maw gently. "Bala, love, sorry I took so long.." she whispers, giving him a cat kiss on his cheek.
