Crowe listened to Chameo with interest. "I've never heard of this Lizardman council, but it sounds fascinating." In answer to Chameo's question he said, "I signed up to come here actually...well, my mom sorta did the signing for me and all, to get me out of the house..." he stopped and blushed, he was rambling. How embarrassing! He turned to Ryn, "I was told this was an academy of sorts. That's about all I know. I just arrived."

"Really? You signed up for this? Then I guess they didn't need to drug you..... Hmm...",Ryn rubbed at his chin absently while thinking, about this new piece of information. He had finally learned something about this place. "Well if its an academy, then there would be classes right? So whoever brought me here would be planning on teaching me something right?"

He shook again as more of that poor creatures misery had been revealed. Offspring of one of the seraphim-doves like they used in the outer mines, and a high elven witch,...... that was too much....
"excuse me, " he managed to say, as tears of laughter shot in his eyes,
"I think we are all students at this academy of sorts? I had to sign up, and stuff. I thought I could take courses in geology, and stuff, and perhaps a few lessons in stonemansonry....."
Again, waves of laughter shooh his head, as he imagined the proccedures neccesary to have a male dove impregnate an elven.....
"I think I have caught a cold..... a dwarven cold..... attacks our eyes and gives us troubles breathing. I think I should better retreat to my room, and leave you all..."
He bowed several times, mumbled some excuses and retreated to his room, where he closed the door, took of his battle-gear, took of his helmet, changed into a regular suit of scale-mail, closed door and windows, hung the keys under his beard, controlled the brewfire a last time, and then burst into a long, reliefing laughter. After what seemed like hours, he was finaly calm enough to get one of his trained doves, and write a letter back home, reporting the bastardbreed in all details, and asking for a dwarfen artifact camera, so he could take pictures of the abdomination of evil, and sent them home. He flung the dove out of his window, barred it by fully erecting the brewtank, and then slipped into his comfortable leatherboots with his steel-reinforced tips, crawled under his covers, and waited for sleep, or an end to this madness, while tightly clutching his axe and his keg, in case he would have to fight against cowards that dared to murder him in his sleep.

((O_O I'm gone for a day and this thing grows eight pages.
...and yet I still don't feel that I'm missing much.
Still, I don't feel like abandoning my character. Up and ready for duty!))
Hal woke to find herself nuzzling a bit of carpet. That in itself wasn't so strange. What was strange was that it wasn't any type of carpet she remembered - and besides, most of the bars had wood floors.
Hal levered herself up and called out "'Ello! Anyone 'ere?"
Nobody answered.
"So where'd that pushy rabbit run off to, eh?" Hal muttered to herself, looking around. Catching sight of the kitchen and TV, she whistled. "Wow. Posh pad. Don't even compare to what we've got at 'ome..."
Hearing a commotion, she peeked outside the door she remembered being thrown through and saw...
Chaos.
Slamming the door shut quickly, she leaned her back against it and muttered, "So that's it, then. One too many of me mum's mushrooms and I'm finally sent off to the funny house." She glanced at the walls. "Thought they'd be padded, though."
((...yes, another Brit accent. Not my fault. It wasn't there when I created the character, I wrote the post and it was. She still came from America, though. She lived in Britain for part of her young life and then moved to America about five years. That's why, although her accent is slowly disappearing, it still crops up from time to time.))
