"I can protect her, Sir," Glitch said seriously.

"I certainly hope you are right, Glitch. My children are worth more to me than you might realize. If she is harmed, I will be coming to pay you a visit."

Another glare and a huff. "Father. You have to stop this. He'll be fine. I promise we'll be ok."

"Don't worry, Sir," Glitch said. He wanted to explain how his father had taught him how to fight. Kind of. But he wasn't quite sure that bit of information would help Nienna's Dad's opinion of him.

"I will always worry. One does not simply stop worrying about their child."

"Because you love us and you just don't want anything to happen to us..." She rolled her eyes. "We've all heard it a million times..."

"Completely understandable, sir," Glitch said in all seriousness. "My parents worry a lot, too. Especially about my sisters. They think they're going to try to destroy the world or something."

Aeolus frowned deeply. "I am not certain that I approve of Nienna entering into another family where the world's safety is in question..."

"I really don't think that's your choice, Daddy. It is my life, and I'll do what I want..."

"At any rate, sir, my siblings are likely to keep me out of it, whatever ruckus they cause."

Aeolus nodded, "Good news indeed. I am sure once the gods bless you with your own children, you will understand the need to protect them."

Nienna ground her hoof into the ground. "Would you two stop ignoring me!!" She snorted and turned to walk away.

Glitch blinked. "Where are you going?" he asked.

"Away from here." Nienna's short reply was ground out as she swished her tail agitatedly behind her.

"She has always been quick to anger...I had hoped she would outgrow such a trait."

Glitch looked from father to daughter and back again, not knowing what to do. "Maybe I should go after her?"

Aeolus nodded, "Well...you certainly won't gain any favor by staying here with me."
