Ling finished his share of the kill and moved away, grinning when he saw Xia at his side. He nodded to her and then moved to the enterance of the cave. He took note that over half of his pride had vanished, gone to see Leanna no doubt. He sighed and looked back to the cave for a moment at those that were still there. "Xia...Take care of those still here, I will go and seek out the rest of our pride, along with our den mother..."
He waited to make certain she understood what she was to do, and then vanished from the cave. He had to maintain order in his pride, and everyone running off on their own when there were dangerous animals about was not a way of doing that. He ran to the oasis, a loud roar rolling in his chest as he announced his coming. "All kittens and cubs back to the den..." His voice was a low, commanding tone. He moved to the waters edge looking at Leanna. "It is obvious that you are well cared for by this pride, Leanna."

She looked over at Nola. "It's nothing dear. Just my family..I wonder how they are." She looked back into the water. Suddenly, Ling's call caused her to jump slightly. Leanna cringed and looked over at Nola. "Do as he says..." She whispered and nudged the green kit onward. Leanna couldn't face Ling for some reason. He scared her slightly with his strength. Toward his remark, she forced herself to turn and face him. "Yes..I know King Ling. I did not mean to impose..I..just had to wash my wound off and rest.." Her gaze lowered to the ground; her ears drooping slightly. Leanna felt like a cub being scolded by her mother. "I..did not mean to impose, I am truly sorry..." She pawed at the ground absently waiting for what he was going to say. "If need be, I'll leave...I have no problem going back..." But to what? She had no idea. Leanna could always visit her brother in the Oasis...

Akira jumped a bit at their leaders call "it sounds like we should be heading back now Xiao." akira said twitching his tail in the direction of the cave. "king ling must have noticed how everyone left" he said laughing a bit

Nola walked back to the cave and noticed how much bigger the other cubs had gotten. Xia was nearly as big as Leanna already. She let out a sigh and went to get some food before it rotted beyond being eatable.

Xiao nodded in agreement with Akira and started back for the cave. Her thoughts wandered as she walked with the other cubs. "What'cha think they're talking about?" She asked her kittens curiosity coming out.

The king waited until all the kittens and cubs were out of earshot before turning his now empty, chocolate eyes to Leanna. "I said nothing about you leaving, nor was it my intention for you to fear me." He stood there at the water's edge and took a deep breath. "You are injured, you are a fool to leave the den without another adult at your side. This area is not safe, not for the injured..." His voice dipped into a low growl and he moved forward, nudging her lightly. "Return to the den, we will see to your leg, Xia will hunt for the time being and you will heal." He moved back from her waiting, and openly expecting the female to follow him back to the den. "The cubs rely on you...."

Akira tilted his head in thought "huh..i'm not sure" he said to xiao "he's probibly trying to get Leanna to come back to the cave" he said

For once, she felt relieved. A cool sigh escaped from her lips and she relaxed. Nodding, she got up and stretched. "As I said, I was merely cleaning my wound. I'll bring another adult with me next time." Leanna gave a reassuring smile at her King then walked to follow. Her ear twitched slightly as a small, but sharp, pain shot through her thigh. A low growl escaped her maw. "Ow..that's a little stiff. I'll just have to walk that out." She smiled and followed Ling. "Has everyone eaten well?" She questioned still worried about the others. Her own stomach was long forgotten replaced by the concerns of the cubs and kits.

Shaitani turned to Xiao with a blank look, "Huh? Uh- yeah." He had been caught off-guard. Lost in thought, he hadn't sensed their approach. He made a mental note not to do it again.
He heard the roar and hurried after Akira and the blue kitten, pouncing over rocks as he went. His stomach growled again, and he wondered if any food was left.

Kun Yi ignored the roar, already being in the Pride's caves. She slept mostly during the day and hunted or played at night. Her interaction with the Pride would not have improved even though she and her sister had grown. A small tune was hummed under her breath, barely audible in the silence of the rocks.

Xiao bounded into the area and tackled her sister playfully. "Hiya!" She said happily as she batted at her sisters ear flecks.

Akira trotted in after Xiao. he smiled seeing her tackle her sister and walked to his spot in the corner and sat down to watch and wait for the rest of the lions to return

Shaitani returned shortly after Akira, and headed straight for the food. He ripped a piece off and dragged it to his usual dark spot in the cave and munched on it, watching Xiao with slight curiosity.

The now larger dragon lioness let out a yowl when her blue sister tackled her. She grumbled deep in her chest when the younger batted at her ear flecks. "What do you want?" Any desire to sing had been blown away when the other Pride members entered the den.
She growled lowly at Shaitani, not liking him looking at Xiao. Not that she liked anyone or anything. Same as always.

Xiao smiled gently at her sister. "Wanna play with us?" She asked, assuming that the others would play as well. "It'll be fun, I promise!"
