Xiao wandered across the pride's lands, coming across the other lions she hesitated. She, of everyone, had probably taken her sister's dissapearance the hardest. Frequently, she would go out and try to find her trail, follow her if she could, but to no avail. Kun Yi was smart, and hid her scent well.
((I am soooo sorry... i compleatly forgot about Xiao and Ayame... *snuggles them* Sooo sorry!))

Shaitani lifted his head. A strange, very pregnant lion ha just stumbled into his lands, but his pride members always came first. He'd deal wth that strange female in a moment. He bowed to Xiao, "Pleasure to see you again."

Xiah smiled down at Kiyoi. "And I'm Miao Xiah..." she said softly as she rest her paw on Kai's back, her medailian waving lightly as she lowered her head to nose Kai lightly. She paused, sitting back on her haunches as she heard another female near by. She turned her gaze, looking around. A visitor maybe? she thought, then shrugged. She'd find out sooner or later.

Xiao smiled softly, inclining her head in return to Shaitaini. "You as well." She said, trying to sound happy, but she was far from it. She looked at Shaitaini and realised that he too, had lost her, and was probably suffering just as much. "I appologise... I just.... We've never been apart..." She tried to make up excuses for her lack of attention to the pride, but they only came out as studdered thoughts.

Shaitani nodded, but didn't respond with any words. He was sure that whatever he said would sound pathetic to a sister's ears. Instead, he turned his head in the direction the black-clad visitor approached from, "We have a visitor."
Ozzie was dragging her paws, but made it close to the cave before letting the pain swallow her. She fell to the ground in a heap, and it all started.
((*brief time skip, about two or three hours later. Post-birth. xd *))
Kai was in the cave, where his father had sent him as soon as Ozzie collapsed. He wasn't sure why, but the acrid smell of blood that rushed his senses gave him a hint.
Shaitani had fled the area as soon as the first cub was born. She bore the same markings as he. Impossible...
Ozzie had cleaned the cubs up, and moved closer to the cave where she lay, leaning against the side, her body wrapped around the three cubs. Two girls and a boy. Wonder where the 'great king' fled to...

Xiah had stood off to the side, glancing into the cave every now and then to make sure Kai was there, and out of trouble. She then looked to Ozzie and the cubs near her. "I must say, you're cubs are quite beautiful." she said softly, hoping the female would not mind her presence. She glanced around for a moment. King Shaitani... where have you run to...? she wondered, obviously having not noticed the same markings of him, on the children.

Ozzie wearly nodded to the pink, red and white lioness. She's pretty... I wonder if she... and he... Huh.
"All right..." Shaitani sighed, slumping to the ground. He was at the flat rock in the clearing, trying to figure out howthey had the same markings. "Can they actually be mine? I mean, I don't think that I.... and she...." His words drawled off as the memory came back, "...oh... Right after Kun Yi left... They are mine..." Reluctantly, the king picked himself up and slowly made ihs way back to the cave.
Kai paced around. His father had bounded off, and Xiah was still out there. What was going on!?

Malamis had tucked Aingeal off into his own part of the den, letting her sleep he padded towards his King, Advisor to him, and dear friend he glanced at the newly birthed cubs, and then to the King. He understood the loss of the Kings love and daughter, his own had disappeared with his daughter. Malamis had grown slightly hardened since thing, he then looked to Shaitani before bowing his head to the female.
"Belated greetings.." He said with a bow of his golden mane, Malamis looked regal and kind hearted. Like a King himself, but he didnt strive so such a postion...didnt fit him. He turned his frame away now, and padded to his King. " Your new children are beautiful." He said in a hushed whisper, he wasnt foolish...none but his children carried such markings.

"Kai." Xiah's voice called into the cave after she wandered off for a moment. She looked in, her pink eyes gleaming through the darkness of the den. Her necklace hung low as she bent her head down after stepping towords Kai, nuzzling him lightly with her nose. "Thought I'd give you some company..." she said happily.

[ALRIGHT! Soul has given me RP rights over Kun Yi and Fei Rou... So... Hai, I'll just... throw this in here. I'm gonna try my hardest to RP them right, okay? Bop me if I RP them wrong razz ]
She rested under a tree, a few miles from the pride. She needed.. time. And of course, her daughter had fallowed close by, after finding out on her own why her mother had started to try to wander off a few times, though always seeming to be seen by that curious little Xiah, or by Shaitani... But most of the time it was Fei Rou that had fallowed her mother, having figured out something was up.
She huffed slightly as she started to push herself up onto her paws, but then dropped onto her belly again, having desided against standing up.
Fei Rou looked through the shadows to her mother, her bright crimson marks seeming to show through the shadows more than the rest of her. She let out a slight, "Mrr?" as she stepped out, padding over to her mother slowly, not saying much else. Inside, the cub was truely hoping, that her mother would soon deside to venture back into the lands once again. Oddly, the female was slightly.. Homesick. Not only did she miss the lands, but she missed those in it. Ahti...
Kun Yi looked to her daughter. "Soon, Fei Rou. But not yet.." she said, not needing to be a Seer, to know what her daughter was thinking. She got a soft, mewling reply from her daughter, and she smiled lightly, motioning for her daughter to come over.
Which she did. Fan Fei Rou padded over slowly. "I miss everyone..." she said softly, but knew she had to stay strong, so she didn't let any sadness show in her words.

Kiyoi had settled for sitting patiently as he was able, though he was clearly fidgety and on-edge. It had only been a short time ago that he'd arrived, and already there had been a near-crisis. Desperately trying to scrounge up a way to help, though he hardly knew any of them well enough to know how, he'd ended up trying not to make a pest of himself by staying out of the older lions' ways. Until he knew better how to help, what more could he do?
He only hoped he was handling things the right way. Getting in the way was bad enough, but seeming uncaring to the turmoils of the pride would be even worse.

There was only so much a young and small one could do, a truth delicate Koto bore within her small, hiding smile. Confusion flooded her mind, at a complete loss of what she should do. Her mother Ayame was out of sight, perhaps trying to aid in some way, so she'd probably just be on the way with her inexperience in the deals of life should she join with her parent.
Letting out a melodious mew sigh, she fluttered through the lands, as if her paws were appologizing the earth each time they had to step on it with her sweet grace. Koto's eyes set on the crimson Kiyoi, pausing on her wandering. She had yet to speak to this young warrior to be, so she had heard, and, judging by his expression, he was left behind in the turmoil as well... Softly, she approached him, greeting him with a small bow of her head.

Ahti's thick paws pressed into the earth as he made his way back to the pride. Nala was still fresh in his mind, with a lazy grin he sighed. As doing so, a scent lost to his memory was reborn, strangely bright blue eyes widened as he looked around, his forbidden princess? He thought as he closed his eyes, no...it couldnt be. Opening them again, he could swear he could see her not to far ahead of him. With a sick laugh he shook his head once again, as if pained suddenly. She couldnt be here, she was gone...His ears flattened against his head slightly. His mind was the worst when it came to playing tricks on him...

Kiyoi turned to Koto as she neared him, flashing the delicate kitten a nervous little smile. She was pretty; not to say he was thinking romantically. Far from it. He hadn't reached the point in his life where he looked at a girl and got weak in the knees or anything like that. It was a platonic statement to himself, more akin to looking at a flower or a sunset than anything else.
"Hello, my lady, " he said, returning her bow with a deeper one of his own. The kitten's brow furrowed a ways. Was 'my lady' the proper term? No, no... he was quite sure it wasn't 'lady' either. He'd had some less than glorious meetings that had started off with that one. (One of which had ended with the cut he sported on his side -- no, 'lady' didn't seem to be a good one to use.) Milady? No, no. Was it m'lady then? Maybe...? Yes, he was pretty sure that one sounded about right. "I mean, erm, m'lady. I don't believe we've had the pleasure -- er, or joy of meeting one another yet?"
He might have gone to bow again, if he didn't realize he'd never stopped bowing in the first place. (Urk.) "My name is Kiyoi." He finally sat back up again, "And you are? Um, if I may ask that is, m'lady." The would-be warrior looked a bit sheepish, shiftly nervous. Was m'lady really right? Had he even been polite enough...?

"Mama..." Fei Rou said softly as her gaze stayed on Kun Yi, whom seemed to be gazing off towords the pride, her eyes perfectly set in one direction, not moving a bit.Finaly, she did move though. She turned her usually cold eyes to her daughter, her gaze softening in the process. "Yes..?"
Fei Rou's eyes said it all. She wanted to go home.. And to make it worse... she could hear her mother's thoughts in her mind... the thoughts that didn't want to come out of her mother's maw. Then go on your own... I'll fallow soon. "But no..." Fei Rou responded to those thoughts. "You won't leave..." she added in a soft tone.
Kun Yi sighed. She straightened herself, getting in a position to where she looked like she'd get onto her paws... But she hesitated... not moving for a moment, before she finaly did, and she pushed herself up onto her paws, looking down at Fei Rou. "Alright." she said with a tone that couldn't be described.. Mad? Sad? Worried? It couldn't be told.
At that, A very weak smile formed on Fei Rou's muzzle as she started beside her mother, starting to the pride, fallowing her like a true Shadow of the Dragon.
Finaly, when they were truely at the borders, Kun Yi brought up her strength, and let out a Roar. She was going to wait for Shaitani to come to her. She wouldn't go to him. Not right now. Yes, she was Queen, but she wanted to see.. if he would really recognise her call, and come to her... and if any others would come with him... and if some did, she had an idea on whom...
Xiah paused as she heard the loud, long roar by the borders. She quickly turned her gaze to Shaitani, wondering what he'd say or do.
