Yes but... riping dvd's takes hours...... and then I'd compress the final video anyway.... so there's really no point. If I was doing it professionally then yes... I would rip.... but also it would be illegal... I'd need to get the approval of MGM n'stuff....

lol. Aren't you allowed to do as you wish with things you buy over there??? lol. We still have out-dated laws.. *hehe* I think technically, I'm still not legally allowed to rip CDs I buy onto my computer to listen via that way! *haha*
... But there was something... They may have recently changed 'em... finally. *hehe*

Well... I guess for personal use it's legal... but if I were to make a demo reel or something I would be showing off my talent with.. and I used a piece of music/video... I'd have to get permission...

Sooo you were the one that started this thread? Not sure...anyway...You know what I do to have SN wall paper...well I take pictures from my camera phone from my laptop...they look okay...not too blurry...I use the close up ones...and they look rather nice...the ones from my desktop look funny...so those don't work...I find that the thread has been rather usefull for pictures! lol
