"Good...they're here." Xinrie, once again talking to herself, she really needed to stop that, stood slowly from her slumped over spot in the corner, stretching her back with several loud pops before sauntering over to the two of them. "Afternoon kiddies, ready to fake some suicides? 'Cause I sure am, this is gonna be a freakin' fun one." Sarcasm dripped from her voice, as her eyes lazily ran voer them, they were obviously fresh from the old mission, they even had all thier old gear, which was ood that meant they had followed orders and immediatly came here.

Neo nodded slowly.
"So... shouldn't there be someone here, though?" he repeated. He was swiveling about, trying to find some sign of life, of anything. "Where are the people, where are the dragons, where are the anything?"

Shadow landed silently on the other side of the portal. He might have startled anyone who didn't know he was coming through it. He saw Outai and his pet, and then he saw the captain that summoned them heading towards them. When she arrived, he gave a respectful, 45* bow.
The panther, who had moved to his side as soon as he arrived, mimicked the bow, out of respect for both her master, and the one her master was respecting.
"What might you mean, Ma'am? Fake suicides? Is that a joke, or all serious?" He asked the captain with a serious and respectful tone. He payed little attention to what she called them, such things were minor and needed no attention. Some might be offended by it, but that causes unnecessary tension. He had a hard time sometimes with jokes, due to his serious attitude. That was in part to his training and his dedication to that training. He did sense a bit of sarcasm, but he wasn't sure if it was for both statements, or for one.

"Greetings, commander." Outai said respectfully as she and Mooney came through the portal. "Shadow, I believe she was using sarcasm." Outai paid no heed to the nickname they had been called. The way she figured, they were new and had not earned the respect yet. That was fine. It would take time, but she would work to earn it. She was a little disappointed that she had left such a dangerous mission in her favorite environment to start with sarcasm, but she quickly got over it.

ooc:: Big major sorry guys, but I actually have a real issue here for not being on lately and for my further absence until Sunday. Me G-ma just passed away, so on top of school starting again and all the memorial service plannings and funeral proceedings, I'm having a hard time getting back on the computer -_-; So I'll talk to you guys again on Sunday
"I breath Sarcasm guys." Xinrie smiled with a goofy grin. They'd understand her personality soon enough, you know, the half-assed don't give a crap one. " Don't bother with the formalities guys, I'm younger than you are after all. Rank doesn't mean crap to me. And yes, that would be exactly what I mean. Two people, a prince and a princess wanna marry eachother, only problem is, their countires are at war and the parents despise the others family because of a fight that spawned generations ago over a pig, and blah blah blah..... basically, if they married, that would spell immediate execution for the both of them. Soooo, they've hired Mishaps out to find a way to fake thier deaths and send them into hiding where they can live the rest of thier lives out as creepy old hermit people. Romeo and Juliet in a messed up nutshell."

[[that is just fine. i understand. im sorry to hear that. and there is no rush for you to come back smile ]]
Shadow nodded politely in understanding. "Ma'am, these 'formalities' you suggest are things you are going to have to put up with from me, if you can. I understand your wishes and views on the rank structure, and to respect that I will be sure to not use formalities with you due to rank. It does not mean, however, that I will not respect you as a woman, or as a team mate, or as someone I interact with. I even show my enemies respect," with that, he showed a slight smile and gave another nod of the head.
Shadow wanted to think about the mission to himself, but decided it might be best to think aloud this time. "Would it be possible to look into the situation between the two nations? Perhaps resolve the situation so that they don't have to hide? We could do it discretely, give no names, and if we cant come up with a solution, then we can fake a suicide and find a place for them to hide. If we did that, then I would need to drop off some of my things." He paused, then added, "what is the society of the two nations like?"
Faking their deaths might be easy with his ability to manipulate the aspects of his surroundings. His ability manipulate what people think they see, feel, hear, and sense. But of a magnitude equal to each country would require concentrated meditation perhaps.

"Ah, a more modern version of 'Romeo and Juliet'." Outai said casually, "Hm, faking one's death is not easy, though."
"Unless you have an illusionist make the families believe their children are dead." Mooney chimed in.
"That is true. However, even with that we still must find them a place where they can live in safety, and not be recognized by anyone. Being royalty makes that difficult, and it would be a shame to injure them just to hide their physical features. Then again, this IS Mishaps. Commander, this is my friend and traveling companion, Moonstar, or Mooney for short. He has many psychokinetic talents, illusions being one of them. He's not mastered it yet, but he's very good, and could very well fool the families. And I believe Shadow may also possess this rare ability."

Spider had hoped something like this would happen. His mates where in the gutter beds, he was all alone, and now this. First, he had scored some kind of oozing puss from the lab, which kind of had made him dizzy, and very fast thinking, and then he had wandered off into a new adventure, it seemed. He looked at the assembled peoples, and nodded respectfully. "Oh hay guys, anyone ordered one dope fiend for the team?" he did not particularely care that he was still in pyjamas and a bathrobe. All that he cared for was that he was about to get entertained. He wiggled his toes in the Steel-toed boots, and looked at them. "Come on, you guys. I am bored out of my mind, I am surely to die of a drug overdose, my team is in the infirmary, and you guys seem planning to do something wicked. You klnow, when the going gets weird, the wird turns pro. " He grinned, and scratched his tatoo-stained hand, mainly to get the yellow frogs away from it, which although they where a byproduct of the adrenal gland he had chewn earlier, and thus totally fake, they still tickled, itched, and disturbed his hallucinatory flies he had grown quite fond of. "So, what's going on? Any drug related stuff? Someplace where one could have a need for a doctor of journalism? And what was that about faking a suicide?"

Shadow wasn't sure what to to say in response, so he kept silent. The captain would have to make this decision. Shadow wasn't sure what to make of this man, if you could call him that. And for this mission to be a success, he wasn't sure bringing a wild drug fiend along would be such a good idea.
He wouldn't lie, it would be interesting if this man came along, but at what expense? He wondered if this man had any control of his reaction and response to the things he put in his body.

((Hey guys, you know I was thinking, I don't really use my other character too often... Mainly because I get busy and forget about him for. Why? I have no clue. But I do know I should probably make a post using him, considering that things have slowed down at the other end. ANDROID POST!))
So here the android in the garage. He just finished assembling the mech unit that would be replacing the one destroyed earlier. This one was a newer model, and much more shinier than the previous one. The android put down his multi-tool, which he was using to finish up the wiring, and took a few steps back to observe the mech. "Oh... I like. I bet you will last longer than the last one, that's for sure. Although the last one didn't stand much of a chance... The pilot didn't know how to engage the boosters."
It had everything, but mostly guns. Lots of guns. Very big guns. It had retractable shoulder mounted rockets, a 110mm caliber gun with exploding rounds, two 40mm anti-personnel miniguns, and a very large blade that stores inside the left arm.
"I really want to take it for a spin... Sokato would kill me for sure though. I wouldn't hear the end of it I scratched the paint job. Oh, but it's so fun and destructive. Oh my, what should I do?"
((Oh and school just got back in session for me today. The duration of winter break is three weeks over here.))
