Leo found Cade easily and tocuhed the man's shoulder. "He is here," he siad, and nodded to where Julis sat. "he asked for your guitar, but i don't know where it is and didn't wish to get it without your permission." he smiled and looked towards the boy, "he-he spoke to me, told me to not worry of tomorrow. is he a visionary?" he breathed so no one would over hear. "i-he's sick. i could tell when he touched me and i was hoping that you would allow me to help him." he dropped his eyes. "i don't know if i have the skills to give him his sight, however i am fairly confidant that i can heal everything else." he smiled weakly, "but if i was able to return-that to you then maybe i will be able to give him his sight." he added, biting his lip as he thought about it

Cade smiled. "Good to see he made it again. It's getting harder and harder for him to get out." Cade tapped his finger to his chin. "I know where it is. I'll fetch it later." Cade glanced at a recipe that was sitting by him then chuckled. "Julis? Yes, he's a visionary. He was born blind but it gave him a chance to see other things." Cade started to gather ingredients when Leo told him Julis was sick. He sighed softly then set the things down. "You know, Julis seeing his gift as a great thing and he see's his sickness as the limit to his gift. He uses the gift, he gets sicker, but he'll never stop using the gift because he makes other people's lives better with it. If you try and cure him, he'll loose his purpose for living. He lives to make other's lives better and by curing him you take his reason for helping." Cade smiled. "My parts where taken from me, he never had sight. I think Julis is happy with his fate. Let him live the rest of his life the best way he can muster until he cannot live a day longer. That's what I say." Cade tapped Leo's forehead then went back to the recipe.

Leo stared at Cade for a long time, but shook himself and nodded. "I understand" he said softly and went to serving again. he moved to tell Julis that Cade was getting the guitar for him, but he had a hard time looking at the boy. "thank you for helping us" he said softly and hurried to his other tables. when it was time for the performances he found cade again. "Forgive me, i forgot. am i going first?" he asked, glancing around

Julis nodded. "I can't wait to hear your performance. I know it will spectacular." The woman tapped Julis's hand. "You are a great man. It's a shame that you are sick." Julis smiled. "It's alright. Tonight is the last night Rose will need me. This time next week, she'll be doing a lot more on her own." The woman stroked the male's hand then went back to eating her tart.

Cade had brought the guitar to Julis and was back in the kitchen chopping up strawberries for a sauce puree. Cade lifted his eyebrows to Leo then glanced at the clock. He dropped the knife in the empty sink and washed his hands. "Go get dressed! We send you on in ten minutes." Cade hung up his apron and smoothed his hair back again. He checked to make sure he looked nice, put the apron back on, and went out on stage to greet the guests. He looked at Leon once and smiled.

"Good evening everyone! Welcome to the Common Corner. I hope everyone has been served and is happy with what they ordered." The crowd gave a whoop. Cade smiled. "Well we have two performances tonight for you. First up, we have our adorable little temp, Eva Skye!" Cade clapped his hands and stepped off the stage. The crowd applauded and some gave cheers. Julis was turned to the stage and was clapping softly, a smile on his lips.

Leo quickly changed and got ready. when Cade called him out he walked onto the stage and bowed low. he didn't speak, simply waited for the crowd to still before he opened his mouth and stared to sing. his hands came up and two fans snapped open before he started to move. each movement was graceful and fluid, his dance telling the tale that he was giving voice to. when he finished he held his hands in front of him and bowed low over them before retreating off the stage and smiling at Cade. "that was-fun he whispered in awe. performing like that had never been so much fun before. he shook his head and hurried to change back so he could serve and watch Rowain's performance

Cade applauded Leo as he left the stage. "Very good work," he whispered to her as he climbed back on stage to greet the crowd. The crow cheered and whistled as the stage was cleared. Julis was escorted to the stage by his company and giving a stool to sit on. He was fiddling with the guitar to make sure it was in tune. Cade made sure the boy was set up then stepped into the middle of the stage. "Alright! Alright! Wasn't she lovely?" The crowd gave a loving cheer. Cade smiled. "The Final act of the night will our next performer's final performance. She's been working very, very hard on this and I can tell it will pay off. Everyone give us a big hand for our one, our only, Rose-Marie!" The room erupted into a deafening applause.

Julis strummed the guitar and began to play his opening notes Rowan slowly stepped onto the stage, his green eyes glittering beneath flawlessly curled red lashes and shimmering eyeshadow. The crimson red dress billowed around his legs with just enough off the ground to expose the black heels that he wore. Red curls hung to her ears while a small bang hung across her fore head.

The crowd went silent as the guitar picked up. Rowan threw his head back, black fans unfolding from both hands, and began to dance. His heels clicked against the ground and her body twirled with amazing grace. His arms bent with his body and gave illusions of curves that didn't exist and played tricks on the mind. His lashes fluttered and this flawless mask of beautiful solemness never left his face. His leg arched up and curved through the air before smashing down and the clicking began again. The skirt billowed around his legs as he twirled faster and faster until he was twirling on a single leg. He stopped, one leg straight while the other was out in front of his body, making him lean into it. The fans fluttered before his face and at his hip before he twirled once more and brought them fluttering across his entire body before holding pointing down from his hip and the other pointed skyward just above his fiery curls.

The room was silent a few seconds longer then everyone rose to their feet in massive, deafening applauds. Rowan finally smiled and took in a deep breath. Julis clapped from his stool. He blew kisses to the crowd with the edges of the black fans. Someone walked up and handed Rowan a handful of rose. Rowan's eyes widened as he took the gift then his smile brighten. "Lewis!" The blond gave a smile. "You were amazing."

Leo moved around the crowd, but since most of the people were fasinated by Rowan's dance they didn't need much, which was fine with Leo. that ment he got to watch the other dance as well. he remembered when he'd been taught tha style of dance and though it didn't really suit his persona and deminor, he'd been fairly good at it. not nearly as good as Rowan though. Leo smiled to himself about how different he was from his friend, like water and fire. after the crowd's cheering he kept moving to fill their drinks and such, but at Rowan's exclimation he looked over and saw Lewis from the bar. he made his way over and bowed to him, "It is nice to meet you, sir. I take it you are a friend of Rose's?" he hated having to act like he didn't already know the man, but Leo had completely changed his appearance. no one besides those who already knew, could find out about who 'Eva Skye' really was.

Lewis looked at Leo and titled his head. "Have...Have we met before?" Rowan smiled. "No, this is our intern. She's leaving tonight. She wanted to preform before she left so we let her." Lewis smiled. "I saw that. It was very beautiful." Lewis took Rowan's hand. "But nothing is as beautiful as my darling Rose." Rowan blushed. "Don't flatter me so. You speak as if we were in love." Lewis smiled innocently. "Do I have to be in love to just compliment you on your astounding beauty?" Rowan smiled and swung her hips side to side."I guess not. Do you dance?" Lewis smiled, leaping onto the stage and taking Rowan's hand while wrapping the other hand around his waist. "Are you sure you want an answer to that?" Rowan's eyes grew wide, but his arched a leg around the male's waist. "Show me."

They began to step around the stage in a close tango. Rowan's body brushes Lewis's as Lewis swung his body low to the ground. His leg arched up over Lewi's back then he was spinning away from the male's body. Lewis pulled him back and they was face to face again, bodies moving in perfect rhythm of one another.

Cade walked over beside Leo and shook his head. "If there is one thing that girl can do, it is dance. She will dance until her body breaks down. I have never seen someone so devoted to an art before." Rowan's body twirled then he was aerial. Lewis brought him back down and ended their dance with dipping his partner's body low to the ground using one arm. Rowan folded herself backwards over the arm in a swooning motion that included an arched leg and lifted skirt which took the motion from graceful to seductive. Cade clicked his tongue. "And they've never even danced together."

Leo nodded, "rose is very good at what she does" he said softly. "I wasn't really trained in partner dances, most styles taught to me were either with other bentiens or solo dances." he shrugged, "I have to admit, the only reason i liked dance was because it ment i was here," he pointed to the stage, "while the masters were out there" he motioned towards the crowd of people that were a few feet from the stage. "and distance from them was always a good thing" he smiled weakly and bowed, "fogive me i am neglecting my duty." he hurried back to work the tables, using the bustle to force back unpleasent memories.

Rowan was smiling and bouncing on the stage, giving Lewis bright happy eyes until he looked out in the crowd. Rowan turn ghostly pale, his freckles turning into giant brown polka dots across his face. Lewis turned to look into the crowd and couldn't find anyone who looked scary. An average sized man walked to the stage in a slick, obviously expensive, black suit and placed bouquet of white roses on the stage before Rowan. "You were quite the star, Roslyn. I guess those classes took to you then." Rowan seemed to freeze and all of her body went perfectly still. "Come now, don't look so afraid, I don't have a say in your life anymore. You don't have to give me that pathetic look, I'm not here to take you back. I wanted to congratulate you on moving on so nicely. Did I mention how pretty you look tonight? Red has always suited that pale skin so nicely."

Rowan's body jerked and he vomited on the stage. His entire body shook and then he fled the stage, face masked in horror. Lewis cast a dirty look at the man then ran after his date. The man chuckled then left, leaving the roses on the stage, covered in vomit. Cade watched the man leave, chuckling. He heard a few of the patrons mumbling about beating the man up and Cade slipped a few coins on their table and nodded. The men smiled, collected the coins, and left after the man. Cade ran his fingers through his hair and shook his head. "I shouldn't have, but it was a needed evil." Cade wiped off the table the men had left and whistled to Leo. "Eva, check on Rose please. I can tell she won't let Lewis in by the sound of him begging in the back. I'll cover your tables."

Leo had almost felt the man enter the room. there was always a different feeling you got from a Master and Leo had backed away almost immediately. he watched the scene on the stage with wide eyes, breathing heavily, lost in his own world, but Cade's voice snapped him back to reality. he bowed and hurried from the room, grateful to be away from the crowd. he hurried to where he heard Lewis calling and gently touched the man's shoulder. "let me handle this" he said softly, "it is something only another bentien can understand." he smiled weakly and knocked on the door. "Rowain? i'm coming in" he called softly and forced his way into the room before shutting the door in Lewis' face. "rowain?" Leo called softly, looking for the other.

Rowan was literally folded up behind the dresser. He was shaking and tears mixed his his mascara to create bloodied streams on his cheeks. He was shaking with sobs that uttered not a sound. He barely looked like he was breathing. His skin was pale to the point where his veins were like blue and purple trails in his skin. Everywhere, his skin was covered in goosebumps and tinted with a faint sweat. His lips were moving, over and over repeating the same thing without a word being uttered. He was staring at his hands which were knotting into fists so tight the knuckles showed the bones while his palms were red. His nails had cut into his flesh and blood was pooling.

Rowan looked up at Leo and his eyes looked haunted. Something was playing behind those green eyes and it was rocking the boy to the core. His lips stopped moving and broke into a quiver. "Please...please...don't hurt me...I don't like the red...please...I'll be good...just no more red...I don't have to be pretty...no pretty...no pretty..." He started to sob with heaving inhales that made his body quake. It was nearing the edge of hysterical screaming as the sobs came on harder and harder. Soon the boy was thrashing in the corner, screaming nonsense about the color red and being pretty. The louder Rowan screamed the more Lewis called out to Cade for help. Rowan's screams suddenly peaked then stopped as he fell over in a dead faint.

Leo hurried to his friend's side, but he wasn't able to calm the boy before he had passed out. Leo sighed and pulled the unconscious Rowan into his arms, holding him close. he closed his eyes and started to try and calm Rowan's system down, but there wasn't much he could do while Rowan was out cold. he stoked the boy's hair and gently carried him to the bed before opening the door for Lewis and Cade

Cade looked once at Rowan and swore. "He's going to have a seizure soon. Hold his legs and give him something to bite down on." Lewis climbed onto the bed and applied pressure to the limbs and Cade placed his belt in the boy's mouth. Just as he closed the boy's jaw around the belt, his body began to shake. The shakes became violent and Lewis was actaully thrown sideways. He lept back onto his position, but he was scared.Rowan's body began to thrash and his eyes rolled up into his skull as his eyelids fluttered. Cade held Rowan's head and neck. The boy suddenly stopped and was still. Cade sighed and called everyone off the boy. His body was covered in bruises. Cade looked at Rowan and tears fought at his eyes. "Lewis...go down and get a cool rag for his forehead." Lewis nodded and went to do as told.

Cade placed his hand over Rowan's hands. "What did you see that broke you..what did he say that triggered this." Cade gripped Rowan's hand tighter. "What triggered it....what broke that doorway down with such violence...what was it..."

Leo was shaking himself, but he moved to lay along side the other, loosely holding him. "Cade" he said softly, "guard the door. i'm going to heal him. he closed his eyes and let out a tiny bit of power, letting it flow over Rowan's boy and heal the bruises and any other damage left by the seizure. he did it as quickly as possible, and opened his eyes again. "He was saying something about red and pretty-" Leo's eyes unfocused and he said "Please...please...don't hurt me...I don't like the red...please...I'll be good...just no more red...I don't have to be pretty...no pretty...no pretty..." his eyes focused again and he looked at Cade, "that's what he said before he passed out at least." Leo looked at Rowan's outfit and started to take it off of him. "It was probably a memories of something the master did to him. some sort of punishment where the Master said he looked pritty in red, but the red was his own blood, not cloth." he shook his head and threw the dress across the room and out of sight before stroking Rowan's hair and giving his forehead a kiss. "poor dear, you've had it rough" he murmered, closing his eyes as he held Rowan, still loosly in case the other freaked at being confined.
