Jenna: well... i am doing fine at the moment o_o;; although still feeling a bit angr-ad (angry/sad) for something i watched earlier somewhere ninja
otherwise i'm fine biggrin
and it IS a change from the usual pace to see YOU of all people with a blue hairstyle xd maybe that's why i like it? sweatdrop

xd I have commissions with my fro....o.o and I don't know why...but it was amusing to see how people were either frightened out of their wits.....or they loved it o.O I was so confused...x.x *is spamming little kid pics everywhere*

xd in my case i had only one commision done with said afro...which was made by Iyou... and as far as i can remember no one posted for a whole 3 hours...
later i found out most were so shocked they giggled incesantly and had hiccups afterwards... others just plainly laughed their wits out... it was fun xd
once i find it i will post it here tho confused

XD hehe, I'm the same. I only enter contests where I'm friends with the owner, and even then I don't like to because my art's not too likely to win. so I save myself some time and worry and work on commissions, which I know what I'll actually be getting paid for. @_@

Shiro - xd !!! You're my hero for the week, what with your pretty pink bow and all... And yes, you did tell me so... and you were right! wink I have a question for you Photoshop users. I've been trying to learn how to use PS, but one thing that's bugging the crap out of me is that I can't figure out how to make my lineart into a mostly transparent layer with just the black lines opaque. I've tried several different methods, but all of them leave my nice black lines sandwiched between icky white ones - see the picture below.  The left part is the current extent of my knowledge of PS, and the right part is what I want to get (I did that in PSP). If anyone could help me out, I'll love them forever. domokun (Be specific - earlier today I was having trouble just trying to find the paint bucket tool. sweatdrop )

*decided to make it all nice and colorful with pictures* ninja 1) open up your image. how do we get those nice black lines away from that icky white background?? 2) make sure your lineart layer is apart from your background layer: 3) change the layer property of the lineart layer to multiply. 4) make a new layer for colors, and sandwich it between the lines and the background. voila! thanks to multiply, only the black shows up and you can color under them without any white showing. whee heart hope this helped~!
