GROSE, what's happening to BOLLYWOOD!! gonk

I know what you mean! gonk

I guess it's like that because it's produced by Hollywood. Ugh, whatever. -.-

I really doubt hollywood wanted to see ranbir's behind.

sorry for the late reply i am currently in india hurray(got here on the 6th) and i got to see this movie when it released here and i loved it!!!!!! so much better than om shanti om (which i also saw hehe) i must say i really didnt like salman khan in the movie they could have picked a better actor .... the blue black colour really set the whole mood of the film... the sets were amazing! ....a few odd things like when he got beated up near the end in the next scene his clothes look brand new like that never happened.....so weird .....

anway the he was meant to be naked in the song jab se tere naina he was meant to drop his towel and you were meant to see everything more than his butt hehe ....but it got censored and cut .....in fact you and see that at the beginning of the song when he steps outside he opens his towel then in the next part his towel is on his shoulder razz so he be nakie hehe

on a whole even though i loved this movie it is a flop here *cries* guess people dont know good movies when they see it.... my cousin had a hard time understanding it ...she thought there was no story ....soo sad!!!!

anyway the net here sucks so im leaving it for now i go home on tuesday so i will give my opinion of jab we met and om shanti om then.

ooh that would have been awkward if they didn't censor it D:

ooh hope you had/have fun in India.

guess ranbir really sold himself ;o

(I had been following the movie for weeks before and was just collecting everything I could on it and it was the first bolly movie i saw in the theater)

I LOVED IT TOO! Although I left the theater really disappointed (although in love with Ranbir's character) but I really think it's cuz I was really sad that he didn't get the girl. I was like SONAM YOU ARE SO PYSCHO!

haha

and then a day went by and I digested it and was like I LOVE THAT MOVIE xD.

glad to see there are more peops who do too!

still an amazing film

It was good, I admit, but it wasn't that great. Salman kind of freaked me out...his acting was weird...and it is really odd, but I thought Ghulab-ji was the coolest character in the story...even if she was a prostitute.

Salman was so creepy in it. D: I can't even explain it. The scene with the safety pins and pinning Soonam to him? dkjf;k Creepy!

I just loved Rani in it heart

So I am not crazy. I still don't get why Salman had to leave and why it took him taht long to come back. Why did she even fall in love with him?
I don't knwo why, but Rani's character was just awesome. She was smart and happy and just fun loving. Her character was just different...and i liked her character very much. It is something I am not used to seeing...I think Rani is an awesome actress...her characters have all been exectuaed well...from Vimmi in Bunty Aur Babli, to Michelle in Black, from Tina in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, to Ghulab-ji in Saawariya. Her characters are always awesome...she is just an awesome actress. heart

Of course smile I didn't care for Bunty Aur Babli, but she wasn't bad in it. smile

I think Bolly Girl had people behind her in the theatres joking that Salman was a terrorist? That could have been the reason why he was gone... or, you know, work related. If I remember correctly, he couldn't tell Sonam why he was leaving/what he was leaving for, so if he was a terrorist, that would make a lot of sense.

I didn't care for Bunty Aur Babli either...I was just comparing her different character since Vimmi was very self-absorbed.
That would make sense...if he was a terrorist...but in a way it makes me think Fanaa too much! DX Why was the movie so Islamic influenced when the place isn't even said to be real? ( For some reason I thought it said they were in France, but ~Bolly_Girl~ told me it was a make believe place.)

Yeah, a little bit, but wouldn't it be like Dil Se.. as well?

I am miserable with the culture and stuff, so I wouldn't know if it was Islamic influenced or not, so you're asking the wrong gal. D:

I thought it was up in Northern India, but who knows? Bolly Girl probably knows better than anyone. biggrin

I havn't watched Dil Se...is SRK the terrorist?

Haha! Well a lot of teh scenes were of Muslim prayer and greetings and even lanague was influenced by Islam. The mosque sounds and Muslim people praying are all showing the place should be Islamic...yet it is fake? Then what is the point of making everything Islamic?

Haha! Your right...if anyone should know, it is Bolly Girl.

Oh trust me, it's made in a make believe place. I've seen the "Making Saawariya" special off youtube and it said so. It said so in an article. AND It said so in the movie itself!

mrgreen mrgreen

haha, of course out of everyone I'd know. smile

There's part one of "Making Saawariya"

There are 7 parts.

Part 3 is my fav. because it shows Ranbir dancing with Sonam like club style and he starts laughing, haha or they have to pretend they're on a motorcycle and it's also really awkward. OR Ranbir doing "Main Aisa Kyoon Hoon" haha, good stuff.

OR when Ranbir and Sonam are shooting a song and Ranbir is steering the boat and he hits into the set and falls over OR when he runs into a light or something

HAHA hilarious stuff.

So, start with part one and work your way up. smile
