Armageddon was surprised a Daybreak wrapped her tail around him, and sighed inwardly as some pressure was off his legs. He was blushing like mad though, but continued to walk towards the center.
He was actually surprised at how strong Daybreak was, able to help carry a pokemon that was a foot taller than her, and about fifty pounds heavier than her.
As they approached, Armageddon heard Daybreak groan, obvioulsy getting tired. He shrugged her tail off, and gave her a weak smile. "*I can get in from here. Thanks though.*" He struggled, walking into the center before collapsing again. Damn his knees.
A chansey and Nurse Joy came rushing up to him with a stretcher, taking him into a room. They connected a machine to him, and started to tend to him. After about a hal-hour, they released him from the room, telling him to go back home to his Trainer.
Armageddon padded out to the waiting room, greeting Daybreak with a shy nod. Curse those emotions of his.

Daybreak was glad that Armageddon was well again. So since that everything worked out between them, she could go searching for Piney again.
Who was probably worried like heck about her. It was almost midnight. Would the officer be at home, after a day's work?
Turning to head home, she found that her legs refused to walk. Or more like a part of her mind didn't want to leave the Absol alone. Just yet.
What was that about?! She shouldn't be wanting to stay close to Armageddon! And yet there was this longing in her heart, whether she liked it or not.
"*... I'm glad you're ok.*"

Did she just say that? A remark towards his saftey without any sarcasm? Or an insult? Was the world about to end? Armageddon looked puzzled, wondering as to why she didn't give him attitude this time.
Quickly, as an escape from a blush crreping acroos his face, Armageddon looked at the clock. Crap, midnight. Zen always woke up at midnight for some reason. He watned to go to his trainer, but Daybreak was still there.
It felt like a Machamp was using his heart as a punching bag, the way it was wildly beating. He gulped a bit, and opened his mouth. He closed it, racking his brain for something to say.
"*Th...thanks. I'm...glad.*"

Ok, why did she just say that? Daybreak was concerned for Armageddon's health, but did she had to ask if he was ok out loud?
And didn't just a day before, she hated his guts and didn't care if he was hurt or not?
The whole situation was very confusing for Daybreak... her rational thoughts and emotions were conflicting over each other, and the emotions were winning against her will.
Well, Armageddon didn't look comfortable either. Maybe he wanted to leave her alone now, and she didn't have to tell him to do so.
"... I'm going home now..." She said, but didn't move.

"*...*" Armageddon tried to speak, but couldn't. It felt like he was going to be sick. Or at least chuck his cookies. HIa mind raced, she said she was going home, but didin't move.
Arhg! He couldn't take it anymore. She was just standing there, as if she was waiting for something. But, she gave off the feeling she wanted to be alone. But why was she waiting?
"*I...I could walk you..h..home..i..if you...wanted.*" He managed to stutter out, then mentally slapped himself. Of course she wouldn't want to be walked home, she was giving off that 'I want to be alone' aura. Idiot. He was an idiot.
A love-struck idiot.

Oh... he was offering to walk her home now. Did she strike him as a helpless little Espeon that can't do anything by herself?
Daybreak wanted to give him a smack in the face, but couldn't bring herself to do anything. Her legs were still refusing to move, and her mind was still battling over her confused feelings.
She wanted him to come along... but she didn't at the same time. She yearned for his company and didn't want to be within an inch from that Absol.
What on earth was she suppose to do?!
"*... That's kind of you to offer...*" Daybreak muttered, and was going to spell out rejection, then stopped herself.
"*... I wouldn't mind it...*" She finished her sentence quietly, reasoning with herself that the robber and his Pokemon might be keeping an eye on her. Or there were Dark/Ghost Pokemon roaming around in the city, and Daybreak wouldn't be effective against them.
They weren't good excuses, but they worked fine for her.

Wait, she said yes? No way. He had been expecting a slap across the face, or worse. Wow, sometimes it was good to be an idiot.
Did she feel the same way about him?
No, that couldn't be right though. Didn't she hate his guts? Try to kill him? But now...now she was accepting his offer to walk her home? Was she bi-polar? Or was he just dreaming? Or were the Gods finally smiling upon him?
"*...Oh..uh...okay. Um...your welcome?*" He said in a questioning manner, never being faced with this kind of situation before. His inner voice was telling him to make a move, but his muscles said nix.
So, being the idiot he was, Armageddon decided to force his muscles to move. Bad move. As he stepped forward, his knee buckled, causing him to trip and crumple. He gave a growl at his knee, and got back up.
"*Sh-shall we be going?*" Armageddon asked, trying to act like the trip never happened.

Daybreak snorted at Armageddon tripping over himself. The newly formed feelings at the back of her mind said that was mean, but it still was a funny sight to see him that way.
"*Yeah... We should be going...*" She replied to him, and this time her legs obeyed and walked. Though they steered her to the Absol instead, and help him up from the ground.
Now this was getting ridiculous. He's going to think that she likes him now. And she definetly didn't like him.
Or did she.
"*Piney's house is a distance from here. Just to let you know in case your injured legs can't take it.*"

Armageddon blushed at Daybreak's snort. His inner self slapped himself mentally.
"*Thanks, good to know. But I think my legs are fine now*" Armageddon smiled, walking to the automatic doors. They opened up, and Armageddon stepped outside.
The gentle breeze calmed him, and he let out a sigh. Oh man, at least the night wasn't a girl. Didn't have feelings, and couldn't confuse him.
And the night wasn't a sentient being who he could develop feelings for. That's right, he was admitting it. He liked her. Not just a crush, but a like.
"*Ready to go?*" Armageddon asked, turning his head to Daybreak.
