I liked the hauntings simply because of how awesome some of them looked. Shabby Doll for the win!

Biohazard EXTREME Oh, speaking of respawns. Resident Evil Outbreak. Grr... Not a moment's peace in that game. Sometimes, I just wanna walk around, examine things, but no. Someone's always knockin at the door. The one thing worse than enemies who respawn, is the enemies who don't die, period. This mostly applies to ghosts in SH4. Same can be said for the leechman in RE: Outbreak.

Well yeah, but that pretty much applies to that whole, "I just wanna walk around but someone's always knockin at the door" comment.

Hmm...y'know, outside of the main RE series, Capcom doesn't seem to be very good at the whole "getting stalked" thing in their horror games...it's always too damn annoying rather than just challenging or scary like, say, Pyramid Head or the original Scissors Man.

Are you referring to Haunting Ground? The problem with Pyramid Head though is that he doesn't actually stalk you. Like, he's not gonna randomly pop into the room and come after you. It's all scripted. What I really liked about RE3 was how you'd have different enemies in a room from playthrough to playthrough. Sometimes you'll have zombies, in another playthrough you'll have cerberuses or Hunters. I loved that.
