 Cutter is the blood of ten chiefs and the leader of the Wolfriders. He is son to the brash chief Bearclaw, and the wise and gentle Joyleaf. He is said to have the best qualities of each. He rules his tribe with a firm compassion, and makes rules only as he sees are needed to protect them. He has a wanderlust that is tempered by his dedication to his tribe, his mate, and his children. While he has gone on quests, every time he is parted from his family his heart is heavy. He loves his tribe more then even life. Granted the responsibility to keep "the way" alive, he none the less slipped into a willing sleep to meet his soul brother, mate, and kids, when they were spirited into the future. Not that he remembers any of that. The last thing he remembers is Skywise rejoining the pack as they headed to the forbidden grove to make their new holt, and then suddenly, he was a pony. Skywise has since filled them in on what further he remembers, reawakening Cutter's growing hatred of Rayak and Winowill both. He is determined to find the rest of their pack, and drawn by the urge to discover what else inhabits this odd one mooned world.Lifemate: Leetah Cubs: Suntop and Ember.

 Leetah had a pampered and long life before the Wolfriders descended upon her small village. The eclipse scared her, as did death, because they were both things she could not control. She lived a good life with her parents Suntoucher and Toorah and her sister the midwife Shenshen. She had a childhood friend, Rayek, who tried time and again for her heart. When the wolfriders came down upon them, her eyes met Cutter's and her fate was cast. Recognition. She fought it like none had before. However, after trials and unsureness, they came together, and fell in love. Her life became him and his dreams, and their cubs. She was the first elf to bear twins in the history of either tribe. Her best friend became Nightfall of his tribe. She truly became a wolfrider, and their healer, always fighting her mortal enemy, mortality. Mate: Cutter Cubs - Ember and Suntop.

 Suntop is one of the first twins ever born to the Sunfolk or Wolfriders. His magic was a puzzle to both, and matched the Mother of Memory's most. Together Savah and he worked to understand his own power. However a frantic message interrupted all that. Many times from then forward, his magic sense launched the Wolfriders on quest after quest. His ability to sense magic also lead to a million more adventures. He cannot easily say no to his twin sister.

 Impulsive and emotional. The best words to describe the fire haired granddaughter of Bearclaw. She feels bound by her father's protectiveness. She never fully grasped how her father felt when she grew up in a far distant time. However, since being turned into these odd four legged forms, that never happened. Who knows how she will grow up this time.Mate: Mender (on again off again on again off again on again off again...)

 "You are the flower, the tree, the vine," Nightfall said once to him. He is the gentle breeze of summer through the leaves. He is a plant shaper whose power awoke after his near death experience at the hands of humans. His greatest fear is fire now, and he is determined to never loose another holt to flames again. An attack by humans with fire on their new holt and his powers got stronger in his desperation to push water to the outside of the tree, to keep the closest one from catching fire. Redlance loves cubs and he and his mate, Nightfall took everything they wanted by their own odd sort of force. They exchanged soulnames willingly rather then waiting for recognition to share them. They got Leetah to help them have a cub.  "I am the sword, the spear, and the arrow. You are the flower, the tree, and the vine! Never will I, or anyone, force you to be other then what you are." She said once to Redlance, and she meant it. She took recognition by force, giving her soulname to Redlance to bring him back when he was too traumatized to speak. She has dedicated herself to protecting him and their pack. She is the fighter, the protector. She will gladly carry the battle scars so as to leave him unharmed. She is Leetah's first friend, and she understands many of her packmates better then others do. She is insightful into the hearts of people, and warm and friendly.   Daughter to Redlance and Nightfall, she is infinitely curious. She is a free soul who nearly always has a smile. She has a love of life, and can't find herself believing the fear and hatred of humans that her pack has. Tyleet always wants to learn more about all things and peoples.

 Strongbow. Her whole life has become following her mate, even when it breaks her own heart. She believes that mates belong together, no matter what. She has borne two cubs over her life, and lost the first young. She is the clothing maker for her pack, and loves the excuse to make clothing that is fun more then practical.  Gruff. He hardly ever speaks, preferring to send. Sending is more like a sure well aimed arrow. His arrows never miss, save one time period long past. He beleives himself the true protector of the way, and he is the first to challenge cutter when their chief goes astray. He is much like an arrow himself, slender and sharp. He does love his cub and his pack, he just has issues showing affection, or rather, others have issues acknowledging his way of showing his heart.Mate: Moonshade Cubs - Cresent (dead), Dart

 Blood of nine chiefs, father to Cutter. Impulsive, gruff, and violent, he was the one intended to bring the Elves to war. However a magical mistake cut short his life, which he now has back. He gambles and drinks with the trolls, beating them at both. Were it not for his mate, the whole pack would have been lead to pointless battle against the humans time and time again.Mate: Joyleaf.  The shield to Bearclaw's new moon. The wisdom to his strength. Strong on her own, Joyleaf told Bearclaw "When recognition happens to us, it will be your last time, old badger". She knows what she wants, and she knows how to get it. And often what she wants is to calm down Berclaw before he gets the whole pack killed. She is perhaps the only elf who could have tamed him.  Son of Timmian, highone. He was the first elf to have wolf and elf blood both in him, and he lead the wolfriders in their bond with his father's kind.
