King motioned with a hand that he was leaving and that since she wanted to tag along, she was allowed to. Not that he could stop her if he didn't want her to follow him. "Sounds like a fun family." He said, it was almost a default answer. He did notice she said she didn't have any brothers though she just spoke of them. He could only guess he was some sort of casualty of life and that he was no longer around.
His hands found themselves shoved into pockets. "My family is deeply involved with the military. But I'm not, they just feel it's a good idea to wear dog tags in case I get lost or something happens to me." King paused again and glanced back. "So if you lost your jewels would you still have all those cool skills? Why are you even in school if such things were childs play? Can't you just like guess the answer to all the test?" King continued on before he gave it a thought more. "Why don't you work for an organization? Many governments will kill and steal to get someone like you to work for them. And you get paid really good. Like an agent." The idea would make most people laugh, but having a mother in intel, King knew better. "In fact they want people like you so badly they'll try to genetically engineer them." He smirked as it did sound pretty daft but if governments will secretly work with aliens and create bio weapons, then genetically enhanced soldiers with strange abilities weren't far fetched. They'd probably get really creative with the idea. "Who knows? Maybe they've already created soldiers like you and soldiers specially created to be immune to such things." King opened the door to the sanctuary and held it open for Sal, not because it was manners for a gentleman to hold doors open, but it was a sign of courtesy from lower ranked soldiers to their superiors.

Victoria Salvitore__________ ((Sure thing))
"It used to be." She responded to his half hearted comment, nodding when he motioned for her to follow him. She glanced at the ring she wore when he mentioned losing her Jewels and frowned a little. She hadn't really thought about it. "Well, I suppose if someone were to take my Jewels away I wouldn't be able to do anything really advanced. But I would still be able to do Craft. Lighting candles, creating witch lights, small things like that. My psychic senses are more a part of what I am than anything really linked to my Jewels."
She shrugged. "It's hard to explain to someone who hasn't grown up with it, but the only way to strip me of my power is to break my mind." She seemed much more serious now, her childish, dreamy demeanour gone. "I'm at school because there's so much more that I can do... besides, my potions still come out a little awry." Victoria wrinkled her nose in distaste at this admission. "And no. I can't guess answers to tests. I don't cheat."
The many questions Kai was asking made her uncomfortable, as if she were under some kind of scrutiny that she didn't know about. She shifted uneasily, her expression lingering on a tense frown. "Uhh, I guess they just haven't looked in the right places." She did her best to answer his question without revealing too much about where she had actually come from. It was just alot easier for her if she didn't have to explain her entire complicated world to someone who was so grounded in his dimension.
"My parents wouldn't let me anyway." She said finally, "But if they have created soldiers, then what would they need me for?"
She stepped ahead of him whe he opened the door, squinting as the outside sun glared in her eyes, very bright after the dimness inside the church. Of course, when the direct sunlight hit her, her hair and eyes instantly turned that eerie shade of crimson red that didn't look quite natural.
