Connor sprinted through the hallways quickly, ignoring the backpack that slammed against his back with each stride. Frantically scanning each passing door, his eyes lit up with relief when he came upon the Science class. Finally! Having woken up a bit late, Connor was almost frantic at the idea of being late the first day. I don't feel like being screwed over the first day by making a bad impression on the teachers. Slowing to a slow pace, he entered the room and grabbed the nearest empty seat. Oddly, he was not out of breath. [[Edited. XD Sorry. And thanks.]]

I threw a lazy smile at him. "Oh, probably something. I tend to skip all classes I find uninteresting." I turned my attention to a boy who ran into class and hopped into an empty seat. I smiled at him and called over, "hey, sweetheart! Class is over now! You didn't miss much!" I jumped up and put a hand on his shoulder. "Late for class! We would get along great." I looked once more at Richard. "Tonight. Your place. I'll be wating!" I looked again at the other boy. "Don't race around too much, sweetheart." And I took my leave....

I stretched my arms high and yawned. Class could be so draining. But, now I had nothing to do. So, I wandered the hallways for a bit, looking into all the rooms. I smiled and spoke to a few others. "Hey, sweetheart, how you doing?" Nobody ever paid me mind. I exited the school and found my usual ledge to lounge on. I frowned. It was hard having other people dislike you, I was just pretty good at hiding it....

I lite up at a voice. I loved to be noticed. I turned my head. It was the boy from before, the one who came in late. I smiled and waved him over. "My name is Rae," I laughed out. "I hope you aren't too upset about before. The first day of school can be such a pain. Come on, do you have a minute? Come sit down by me!" I patted the ledge softly.

I smiled back. "Well, Conner, I'm glad to see you're a man of no worries!" I stretched once again, my stomach muscles clenching in response. I loved clothes that showed off my stomach. Flaunt what you have, right? "So, Conner," I turned my attention back to him, playing with the grin on my face. "Are you skipping too?" I chuckled lightly. "I thought that I was the only one who did..."

I laughed heartily. I liked this Conner, he was cool in my book. I wasn't really one to judge though, seeing as I had no friends to my name. "I like the way you think, Conner! In fact, we should make a day of it!" I jumped down from the ledge with ease, looking back up at him. "I'm waiting for my friend Richard to finish up with school, so why not pass the time?" I waved my hand. "I'm up for something to eat, what do you say?"

I had to laugh as I slung an arm around his shoulder. "Con, you are one heck of a guy!" I put my finger to my lips, thinking carefully about where we should go. "Hmmm....you know what? There's a coffee shop up ahead. It's really close by and I could use the extra jolt." I released my arm and tugged him instead. "Just one day and already I've made more friends than I've ever had in my whoooole life!" It was true. People just didn't seem to like me. But, my luck was changing. We reached the small shop and I nudged him inside...

I smiled at the cute girl behind the counter. She had bright, red hair tucked up in a ponytail. Gorgeous..... I shook my head. Now is not the time for those thoughts. I purred my request, "Excuse me, miss. My friend and I will have two of your specials please." My fingers drummed on the counter as she brought out two big cups of coffee. Before Conner could respond, I threw some money down on the counter. Conner was too nice of a guy. I just had to pay. He was being too kind to me. Before he could argue, I handed him his cup and carted him outside. "No need to thank me!" I just had to see if I could get him to blush. "You're really cute when you're trying to be all gentleman-like!!"
