Adriel looked up to Duncan with a smile, though he noticed the rather...distrustful glance his third eye was giving him and he wondered what exactly was wrong. Was Duncan just putting up a brave front?
Trying not to fret the boy offered him his wounded hand so that he could start on bandaging it up.
"It...doesn't hurt ...that much." He tried to reassure the red skinned one.

Duncan grimaced, "That's what June always says." He muttered, hating that he always seemed to be leaving marks on the people that he cared for... one would think he would claw up people he didn't like, people like Vampy. He was silent as he finished wrapping his friend's wound.
He closed up the kit when he was done and inspected the wrap job, "Looks good." He murmured, the bandage was wrapped tightly enough that it should put pressure on the wound and help to slow the blood flow.

When Duncan was done bandaging it up Adriel lifted it up but refrained from complimenting him on the good job. He had a feeling it wouldn't be as appreciated as one would think. Still though...it was well done. He wasn't certain if there would be scars but he didn't care.
Using his good hand to brush his hair out of his face, his fingers went to trace along his ear line to where a small gold hoop lay. He seemed fidgety but perhaps that was because of what was on his mind. He shifted again before he smiled at Duncan unable to find words of conversation.
Instead he leaned over and kissed Duncan on the cheek.

Duncan gave a little jump at the kiss, his wings giving a chiming sound as they fluttered behind him and he then gave a little smile, "Ahhh... yeah, it was nothing." He murmured as he cleaned up the mess, closing the first aid kit and pushed it so that it was out of the way.
"I am trying to get a handle of it... my temper I mean..." He wanted more then anything to get to the point where he could keep from flipping out over every little thing... He took a deep breath, letting it out slow, "Just started with the yoga stuff though so... it might take me a bit to get used to it."

Adriel was getting the feeilng he was making the other boy uncomfortable. He smiled despite the unease in his stomach and wondered if it was best that he leave...yeah maybe it was for the best.
"That is great...I k..know you will get a handle on it." He murmured in response before he vaguely looked around.
"Maybe it is best I go..I have some stuff I need to ..d.eal with a..at home." He responded with a small smile.

Duncan looked over at him for a long moment before he gave a nod, moving closer to Adriel so that he could reach out and take hold of the hand on his uninjured side. He lifted it up, running his thumb over the other spawn's palm, "Umm... thank you... Its nice, that you believe that I will be able to do this..."
He lifted the hand up to press a kiss to it, "I will be glad when I am able to... when I am no longer a risk to you, to others..." He murmured before giving him a smile, "Ahh... you probably want to get to your stuff. I hope that your wound heals quickly and I am really sorry about that." Even though he said this it took him a moment to finally release Adriel's hand, finding it hard to let him go since it meant he would be leaving.

Adriel lingered a moment, th eliked the feel of Duncan's lips to his hand he really really didn't want to leave, but...it was for the best. At least that was what he kept convincing himself of. Avoiding eye contact he gave another faint smile before finally moving towards the door.
"Oh don't worry..I..I will be f..fine. You keep at your excercises... i will see you soon." Perhaps there was a hint of longing ..or was it hope in his tone. He really didn't want to leave. But thought was he was doing was for the best.

Duncan followed after his friend to the door, to see him out and to stay next to him for as long as was possible. He paused when reaching the door, starring at it in an accusing sort of manner, feeling his temper rise just a little as he knew that when Adriel headed out that door that would be it for the visit.
"Come by any time." He murmured, reaching over to open the door for Adriel.
