Jamie shook his head. "Why did you do that?" He asked "Can I do that any time I please? How Do I win?" He blinked innocently and listened carefully. Jamie was a philosopher not an attacker, he took to long thinking things though to win card games like this, he focused on the rules to much, and did not want to get in the way of the other person who was playing, even if he was his opponent. One more reason he could not be a ‘real solder’ as his father had put it.

Morgan grinned. "Every time we run out of legit moves, we put the cards on our side on the bottoms of our decks and start over again. We keep going until someone's gotten rid of all of their cards."

"Oh. all right." He laid out four new cards and started all over again. He still refused to put card over the moves on the other boy's piles, not wanting to disrupt his flow. He set cards down slowly and thoughtfully a small contemplating smile on his face. "This game is very fun." He said and set down another card. He glanced up at the boy's face and laughed. He was enjoying him self more than he thought he would.

Morgan laughed. "You have to drop some on my side or you'll never make progress," he commented, noticing Jamie's pattern.

"I don't want to get in your way." He said and set down another couple cards. "And I might make progress if I try hard enough." He smiled wider and set down another card. "Is it wrong of me to not want to get in the way of your hand?" He tilted his head slightly and straighten his piles.

((You guys waste no time))
As Steven was simply standing around he caught a glimpse of the girl that had slapped him back on the shuttle, and got the feeling that he really should apologize for accidentally feeling her. He walked up to her as casually as he could manage, but she was staring down at an ebook. "Um, excuse me miss," he said upon reaching her.

((Damned right we don't. razz ))
"Actually, by the nature of the game, you can't," Morgan pointed out. "Cards only leave your pile when you place them on the other side. All you're doing is preventing me from progressing against you, while not advancing yourself," he explained as his hand danced across the playing field. Morgan hadn't missed anything - it seemed he had a great deal of experience with Frustration.

Upon hearing yet ANOTHER male voice assault her ears, Rhiannon looked up, and, upon seeing who it was, suddenly became filled with disdain. "What?" she said, the venom in her voice practically dripping.

"Jesus. She is more frightening now than she was when she slapped me," Steven thought to himself. "Hi, um, I just wanted to apologize for earlier. You know, on the shuttle. I have a good excuse for why I did it, but I am sure you don't want to hear it so I will leave it with this. I am sorry," he said sincerly, bowing his head like a child getting ready to be scolded.

Rhiannon didn't hate men, per se, she just feared what they were capable of, and Perversion definitely lead towards that capability. But the men here weren't actually as bad as she feared. Still, they might be waiting to pounce on her or something. But she tried to not be judgemental; that wasn't who she was. "Okay." she said, turning away and burying herself in her book. She shivered a little, the memory of violation still present in her mind. Wether he meant it or not was irrelevant, it had still happened, and she wouldn't let it go so easy.

"Than I guess I will loose this game." He said his expression not changing at all. Offence was against his nature and he knew that if he tried it he would not only lose, but have gone against his moral code. And that was totally unacceptable. "And that means you are destined to win, so you should rejoice.” He grinned and kept putting cards down.

"O...kay? Is that it? You forgive me then?" Steven asked hesitantly. It seemed a little to easy considering how pissed she was just a few minutes ago.

"Okay as in leave me alone and don't touch me again, got it?" she snapped, just wanting him to leave. As little and as short of a touch it had been, already it began to haunt her.

"If you're going to play, why not play to win?" Morgan asked, slowing down and very deliberately only placing cards on Jamie's side. He let a little of his attention slide to Angry Girl and the guy from the shuttle.

"Have you never heard the expression 'Play to have fun not to win'?" He asked and tried not to touch the boy's hand as he set his card down "I like this game, so I'm having fun. even though I know I am going to loose in the end I am still having fun right now." He smirked and sighed when his stack held not more moves. He placed them under his deck and started over again.
