Welding, auto repair, medical practice, drawing, writing, and martial arts all in one eh? You've got quite the personal profile there.
Anywho, with the writing thing, I'd like to give you a couple suggestions to further enhance your chances of being published and finishing your story: 1) Take the time out to just write. Doesn't matter what it is, if it pertains to the story or not, just write something to get the mental juices flowing. You'll find that often your best ideas come from doing this. 2) Self-proofread and get others to proofread your work, searching for any grammar and spelling errors you can find. After that... 3) Try to get together a peer review group so you can work on improving the writing craft. 4) Take writing classes. I'm serious. Writing workshop classes will often encompass all of the above ideas in a comfortable and secure environment. You'll get the feedback of multiple writers and be much better prepared to edit your story in whatever way works best for it.

Aw. Momma always said I had an overactive imagination.. rofl
I agree with Gary. Especially about the writing class. I sat-in on one of his writing classes with him and it was really fun and getting feedback from all the other students is a big help.

It's only to make light of the situation because it's funny. If you get punched by a regular person you get pissed, if you're punched by a clown you might pause and laugh at it. mrgreen

...Makes me wanna dress like a clown and taunt another clown into a fight and watch as crowds laugh their heads off. "Is that blood of makeup? I can't tell!"
