Maxine leaned in a bit more, and listened closely to what Abrun said. "Yeah I suppose so," She was propping her chin in one hand with her elbow on the table. "Do you think they could be taking people off to slave camps or something like that. Free labor would sound pretty tempting to me if I were a governtment official." She was lost in thought, pondering the many possibilities.

After Morgan had unpacked her meger belongings she headed down to the Tavern below the rooms. She looked around noticing a trader who owed her money. He was drinking with a rather young looking girl. "Bar Keep? I'll have a whole bottle of Rum if you Scotch if you don't mind." She left a large gold coin on the bar top. Then she poured herself a shot, downed it and poured another.

Aubrun tried to keep his attention on Maxine, but his eyes turned to the pirate from earlier. He slapped a hand over his face. Damnit...she noticed me... He thought to himself before turning to Maxine. "Tell me, Maxine...is Gary the kind that would sell tickets if a fight started?" He asked, turning his eyes back to her. "Just wondering..."

"Well that would depend on who is in this fight," She noticed Abrun acting a bit nervous. She turned in the direction he had looked and saw a pirate. "Someone you know? Perhaps someone you owe?" Maxine grinned. "It's okay, you're with me and Gary wouldn't let anything happen to me in his tavern. It's and old oath he had with my father and Gary always make good on his oaths." She turned back to Abrun, "I wouldn't get too worried, I've got your back," She shot Abrun a wink and began pouring each of them another shot.

Aubrun continued to glare in the pirate's direction for a few seconds before turning to the freshly poured shot. He drank it down quick, then let one of his hands rest on his leg, next to his gun. "I don't mean a fist fight, Maxine. If trouble starts, not that it definately will, I doubt you'd be able to help in the situation..." He rest his chin in his palm again, keeping the pirate in the corner of his eye.

"I hope it doesn't get that far, you never know what we women hide up our sleeves." She took her shot, "What'd you do to piss her off anyway?" She shot him a sideways glance almost apearring like a curious puppy.

"A drunken game of poker. She thought I didn't have the money I bet so when I lost she tried to claim my airship." Aubrun shrugged his shoulders and descretly slid his gun into his jacket, a small pocket on the inside holding it out of sight. "She actually tried hunting me down for a while, but I figured she just gave up. Maybe she had forgotten..." Aubrun shook his head and grinned at her. "Then again, they say women can hold grudges that last the length of their lives!"

Morgan had drunk about half the bottle when she sat it down abruptly. She stood and turned toward where Abrun and Maxine were sitting. Her eyes were piecing as she moved to the edge of the table, "I wouldn't use that if I were you." As she said this she slammed her hand on the table top, Maxine jumped startled by the sudden noise. Morgan laughed at the petite girl, "The way I see it you still have a debt to pay me, You're lucky you still have your head." She stood back from the table, "I have a proposition for you. I need safe passage back to Fayar. You see there's a bounty on my head I need to get back to the Pirate's Guild and lay low for a while. If you could grant me this safe passage perhaps I would be persauded to reliquish said debts?"

Aubrun smiled slyly at the pilot as he leaned slightly on his arm, not a bit of fear in his expression or voice as he looked to her with daring eyes. "Hello Morgan, as beautiful and straightforward as always, I see." His smile widened slightly as he leaned back in his chair. "It depends on certain factors if I can or cannot escort you to Fayar. Just small things, like..." He leaned forward again, not taking his eyes off of hers. "...How much they want for you?" Even though it didn't seem like he was trying, Aubrun seemed too intimidating to be a normal trader. His voice and expression showed he held no fear toward the cut throat, and it seemed just by speaking he upheld his own dominance.

Morgan smirked at Abrun, "My bounty is none of your business, besides if I told you how much my head is worth you'd just turn me in and be done with the whole mess." She shook her head, "I'm not stupid, and you can drop the tough guy act, I don't buy it." She passed a fleeting glance at the girl who sat with Abrun, she remained very quiet and she looked a bit frightened. "BOO!" Morgan said in a rather deep and booming voice. Maxine jumped but remained seated, Morgan chuckled at the girl's reaction.

"Morgan, you should know be better. I wouldn't turn you in. Even if I wanted to I couldn't, I still owe the guild a favor anyways. I simply need to know because I want to be prepared for the danger we might face on this little excursion." Aubrun remained adamant, not willing to take no for an answer. "I'm not acting tough. I don't need to, I already have the upper hand in this situation." Aurbun's sly smile turned into a devlish smirk.

Morgan scoffed, "Yes and you should know by now I trust no man, even if they owe the guild a favor." She scowled at Abrun, "We'll just say it a hefty sum, and you'd probably be in quite a bit of trouble if I was found onboard. however you could always claim I'm a stow away. Lemme know when you decide, either way I'll eventually find my way back. I need another shot," She declared as she strode away from Maxine and Abrun back to her bottle at the bar

Aubrun watched Morgan walk off, the look on his face remained. He leaned over to Maxine, turning his eyes to her. "Don't let Morgan scare you. She's only got a bounty because of menial things. You think you could stand a day or two wiht her onboard?" Aubrun had already made up his mind, but since Maxine was his accomplice now he wanted to know. "If you don't like the idea I'll turn her down. It's not like I haven't been chased by pirates before."

Maxine glanced over her shoulder at the pirate who had stalked off. "I've never met a sky pirate before, she was quite abrassive." She looked back at Abrun, "I think I can hold my own with a pirate for a few days. She can't be that bad. Who knows maybe we'll even get to being friendly." Maxine smiled warmly, "It is up to you if you think it's too much of a risk, it's your ship after all."

Aubrun raised an eyebrow at her, then laughed. "Friendly? With Morgan? I've known her for years and that's never happened!" Aubrun shook his head as his laughing quieted, he then looked over to Morgan, then back to Maxine. "I guess she could come along."
