((In spirit, maybe.
Also, I find it amusing how "Snivellus" is apparently used as a term of endearment when he loathed that nickname.))

Before he and Lily had the fallout, he couldn't very well hex the hell out of her friends, could he? After, he felt like s**t about what he said, and was still trying to reconcile their relationship. That didn't work and he joined the Death Eaters soon after.(I'm estimating times... o3o ) I suppose that after he joined, he could've done something, but then that would possibly cement the foundation of the idea that Snape was indeed, a Death Eater. And of course the Marauders did! They made the bloody nickname for him in the first place!

Except for Remus, because I doubt that he called him that. He's just too... Remus for that. XD And Peter was probably too much of a sissy to do it, though I'd hex him anyways.

Kinda shocking how it turned out that he'd betrayed him considering that.. But then, he was a coward, selling out his loyalty to the side with the most ability to protect him. And he picked the Dark side. How ironic, seeing that he got used in a way that lost him his hand, and ultimately put him at the mercy of James' and Lily's son. Sure, Harry never killed him, but he should have. Would have if he'd have been sorted into Slytherin. Which would have made the books totally awesome! JKR should do a rewrite of the books where Harry does end up in Slytherin. The Sorting Hat never lies...

It's proof though, not all Death Eaters are Slytherins. Indeed, Harry was a Slytherdor. (Slytherin + Gryffindor, split-house system) Would have been interesting indeed.

Slytherclaw? o3o Methinks you meant Slytherin... And I see no reason for Pettigrew to have even been in Gryffindor... Should've been a Hufflepuff. D<

I'm a Slytherclaw myself.
