Caught Rango in theaters last night.
It was actually pretty good. Nowadays, it's such a relief to see an animated film that doesn't feature very "hip" or over-the-top goofy humor that attempts to pander to preteens.
Fun story, although I thought the ending was a little weak. Super impressive visually. Johnny Depp and Bill Nighy were great. And my favorite part was the beyond-epic western soundtrack.

Yesterday, I saw Rango. I was fun and cute. Nothing amazing -- though, I absolutely loved that animation.

sgt.Frosty saw paul...oh my god I love this movie, I would see it two more times. xd I saw Paul last night. It was a lot of fun. Being a fan of Comic Con, I could not stop smiling at the opening. I thought the story moved along pretty well, but the characters weren't all that memorable. Also, the CG alien looked great. 4/5

Sucker Punch
Mmm, not a great film. But I didn't think it was terrible either. Full of over-the-top fights and explosions, and I think there's some entertainment to be had there (even if you're laughing at the film and not with it).
Sadly, there's not much going on story-wise. And most of the performances were not good.

Amoebic Sucker PunchMmm, not a great film. But I didn't think it was terrible either. Full of over-the-top fights and explosions, and I think there's some entertainment to be had there (even if you're laughing at the film and not with it). Sadly, there's not much going on story-wise. And most of the performances were not good. 3/5 I saw that recently as well, but my opinion on the movie is pretty much a whole 180 than yours. I felt it was one of the best, most original, soundtrack driven fantasy movies in the last decade.

I saw Thor about a week ago, it was pretty good. Wasn't the best movie I've seen this year, nor was it the worst. 3/5

Thor and X-Men: First Class were pretty fun. First Class was a lot better than I expected. Good casting on the main people.

Super 8 was pretty fun. Some minor issues with things not really being resolved between characters relationships (father/son), but whatever.
