 Ian McNaulty Ian finished his food then walked over to return his dishes. He didn't grab any ice cream as he never liked the stuff he just came and sat back down with his friend, and Addison.

 Addison began to quickly eat because of the time constrant. But he was able to still speak. "I don't have much for plans afterwards. I'm glad to have my family and maybe its good to be single, I can start out fresh. I want to keep my options open for now, it seems to be the best plan."Addison finished his last bite and got rid of his tray.

CPL Fredrick David David shook his head, "Sounds like a sound plan." He smiled and finished his ice cream, "You guys ready?" He stood up and picked up his cover, "We're one step away from our 36 hour passes in Wellington." David set the bowl down with the other dishes and headed for the door.

Ian McNaulty Ian nodded and followed David outside towards the med station. He looked forward to his pass, but honestly he had no idea what he would do. He would probably just end up in a library or museum if the town had any.

Addison was walking back with his new friends just before they needed to go to medical to get their shots. Addison was looking forward to their outing after getting their shots. It would be nice to go out to the bar before going in to combat. He was glad to be fitting in with them so quickly.

CPL Fredrick David"We've got to get back to the barracks and meet up with the platoon before medical." David said. David walked with them back, "A Corporal from 2/3 told me about a hot bar in town." He smiled, "Thinking about hitting that up later. You guys wanna come?"

Ian McNaulty "maybe who knows, I really do not know much about this town" he said as he stuck his hands in his pockets and walked to the barracks. "you guys know if there are any good museums in town?" he asked completely serious.

CPL Fredrick David"Are you friggin' serious?" David asked, slightly shocked, "Your last liberty before going into combat and you're worried about museums?!" He put his arm around McNaulty's shoulders, "Nahh, I'll show you how to spend your liberty." He smiled and walked across the street towards the barracks.

"It sounds like fun, it would something nice to do before we send off." Addison paused hoping they would all go together. "Why a museum? Didn't you do any of that back home at all? You could always do it when you get back as well." Addison put his two cents in to try to convince everyone to go.

Ian McNaulty "well.....um.......I just am not one for partying." he said nervously trying to find a logical explanation. he was nervous he did not want to make an fool of himself and reveal that he joined up at sixteen. He wanted to lay low, that seemed to be something that was quickly disappearing,

CPL Fredrick DavidDavid laughed, "Awww come on Mac, no one's gonna bother you here, plus you got us to back you up. Live a little, could be your last time." He smiled as he walked up to another group of Marines and lit a cigarette.

Ian McNaulty "well if you say so, bud." he said as he leaned against the building. "so, uh is the general plan to get bleary eyed then?" he asked realizing how incredibly stupid he sounded as soon as he said it.

"Well Ian, if you don't want to go you don't have to, but it would be something fun or good to do before we actually go off." Addison paused for Ian's answer. Addison was trying to be nice and friends with Ian but also being kind to him if the whole situation made him uncomfortable.

Ian McNaulty "you know what, ******** all whats the worst that could happen." he said finally and gave an evil smile to his friends. "can't possibly ed worse than some of the things I did at home." he added as an after thought.

CPL Fredrick DavidDavid laughed, "That's the spirit. Can't be any worse than Pearl. At least we'll know it's coming." He exhaled a cloud of smoke from his cigarette, "Come on, at least have a few brews with us though." 1st LT. Johnathan Carolin First Lieutenant Carolin, the Platoon's commander, walked with their Platoon Sergeant. As the Marines came to attention and extinguished their cigarettes he waived his hand down. He wasn't one for formalities unless it was needed, "Alright Marines. I might as well do this now. Once you're done with Medical you will be cut loose for your liberty. Come back here, change, and then make sure to check out with the Duty." He nodded, "Be safe out there. We don't need any of you getting hurt. Always go in buddy pairs. No groups smaller than two." He paused thinking, "Drink responcibly and watch out for each other. If a buddy of yours is getting too tanked, bring him back here. Formation will be at 1200 tomorrow afternoon. Be here, or you'll be UA." He turned to the Platoon Sergeant, "Get them to Medical."
