"What?" Aryn looked down just before he fell through his own shadow again. "Shi-!" A second later he was gone.

Lexi groaned as she walked through the forest she looked around nervously. shes been trying to find the school for some time and cant help but to get lost every time. she stopped in the middle of the forest with her luggage next to her she gulped looking around for some clue of direction.

Kairi walked through the forest, carrying a small shoulder bag of belongings and a large wooden bow strung on her back. She looked around.
"Wow, who knew there would be a forest so close to the school. I wonder if we're allowed to hunt here..." she wondered to herself. She caught sight of a girl, who looked only a few years older than her, up ahead. Kairi waved her arm above her head to get her attention. "Hi, there!" she called, walking up to her.

"You touch anything in this forest and you'll have to answer to me." Meryl came up behind Kairi, studying her sharply.

"Huh?" Kairi halted mid-step and turned to see a girl even shorter than her and wearing a big hooded jacket standing behind her. "Oh, this is your forest? I'm sorry, I thought it was the school's. I won't hunt here, then. " she said, puzzled.

"This isn't my forest, but if you do anything it doesn't like, then it will eat you." Meryl said with a dark expression on her face. "So," Meryl touched her hand to the floor, with an axe following her hand on the way up. "Watch yourself."
Meryl jumped into the trees, slightly out of sight.

"Eat me?" Kairi looked around, uncertainly. "Well, okay, if you say so. Thanks for the heads up," she called after the hooded girl. 'She sure had a big axe....How does she lift that thing?' she wondered.

lexi bit her lip staying behind the girl she had met out of fear. she listened to the strange weird girl and then watched her disappear.
"should we leave? what if she comes back"

Meryl hung upside-down from a tree right behind Lexi and whispered in her ear "I am still right here..." Meryl's eyes darted to the other girl, and said "I think there is somewhere you should be..." Kairi's shadow suddenly expanded.

Kairi tilted her head to the side. "Wha-? Ahh!" She fell right through her shadow and disappeared.

Kairi was dropped out of the shadow, landing on her behind in the grass. "Ouch!" She looked around to find she was in the forest again. She stood and brushed herself off. "Well, that was fun...."

Meryl popped up right beside her a second later, landing smoothly. "Those people where annoying. If you wanna make friends, you should pay attention to where you go."
