Luke got home from school and left his homework to watch TV and call his friends. Recently he'd become pretty careless and slacked off. Luke's grades were started to go down, but he felt his friends were more important. "Hey did you hear about...." Luke continued to talk to his friend.

Kyo layed on his bed staring at the ceiling. He too was wondering if he'd ever get a digimon partner. He didn't have much to live for anymore. His parents stopped caring about him and he didn't have any other family or friends. Kyo separated himself from everyone around him.

Adriana walks away from school looking at another test aceing it once again. " Another test...aced it again...wish my knowledge would be of some better use..then grades.."
Amber starts to eat, as she waits for soemthing exciting in her life to happen. She watches tv and sees a love story as she decides to watch it. "Man.. I wish i knew what love was like". As she turns off the tv she look outside and sees a happy family playing together.

Elie walked down the street. She had given up. She just had her 16th birthday and still no Digimon partner. 'How could I even think I deserve a digimon partner?' Elie asked herself. She was really depressed. She had hoped for years that she would get a digimon partner, but she never got one. So, she gave up hope.

As Amber notices the family outside she looks around and finds her family picture, as she looks at it she remembers how everythign was before.
Adriana walks inside and throws her test into the trash can. " im trying of being so smart...i dont need it for anythign except grades, i cant help anyone with them." She goes onto the comptuer and plays a few games to try and calm her down.

It was getting dark and Luke still had no homework done. He tried to get a few assiments done, but soon got tired of it and went to bed.

Amber wishes that her parents had never abandonded her and left her with her sister. As she wonders she heads on over to her bed.

Jason continued walking through the woods. 'Why me?' he thought to himself. 'Why am I the one who isn't allowed to have a digimon? Why?' as he thought this a bright light shone on the gruond. Jason looked over to see something on the ground. He picked it up and looked at it. "Is this a digivice?"
"Everything couldn't be going more wrong," Kyo said to himself after getting dressed. It was 10 in the morning in Japan. He looked over on the desk and saw a weird device.
"Why should I care about anything anymore? If I get my hopes up, they're just going to be crushed again." She said to herself. It was getting late and she was waiting for a bus to take her home. Suddenly, she saw a glow from a trashcan. "What's that?" she asked herself reaching into the can.

As Amber walks over to her bed she notices something shining next to her bed." What is this?" She picks it up and exammines it.
Adriana noticdes something glow at the corner of her eye. She puts her books down and walks on over. "Whats this thing?" She picks it up and examines it.

((I take it we're all finding our digi-vices now?))
Kaiya was walking home from the library. Her brother stayed behind so he could hang-out with his digimon while trying not to make her too jealous. He seemed to be the only one who could tell she didn't like that situation. She hoisted her bag of books up further when she reached for the front door.
"Welcome home dear," Her mother said brightly.
Kaiya just smiled kindly and said, "Thanks."
"Where's your brother?" Her father asked.
"Oh he had somethings to finish up at the library, he should be back in a little bit." Kaiya replied as she made her way up to her room and sat at her desk.
She began to draw little pictures of creatures, each one getting bigger and bigger, until the last one which was smaller and shaped more like a human.
"I wish I had a digimon...." She mummbled, crummbling up the peice of paper and tossing it in the tiny trash can in the corner of her room.
Latter, as she laid down to think about getting a digimon ofher own, a glow came from the trash can. She got up and found the source of the light was the peice of paper that she had crummpled up earyler.
As she pulled it out from the trash can it became more solid and took on a diffrent shape.
"What the-" Was the only thing she could say.
