Durey was staring at the wall that separated him from the magical world. He felt it, along the creases, just for one last way to know what he was going to leave behind yet again. This felt even worse than living with the dark lord, though he never did, because he was long dead. His hand phased through the place of which to run through, and he looked at his frog in his pocket. "It's ok, Neville," said Durey, addressing his frog which he named after his great-great-great grandfather. "It's time to go through," he said, running at the wall as fast as he can, not hesitating, because if you did, you would hit the wall. 'Goodbye Muggle world,' said Durey to himself, 'I am an overage wizard now.' He entered the train, looking through the compartments, trying to find the most secluded one. He pulled out an invisibility cloak, with many tears in it. The last one of its kind. 'Oh well, at least my friends will come here soon,' said Durey. He had a full 30 minutes until his train pulled out, so he decided to get into his Gryffindor robes right now. 'Slytherin is going down this year,' thought Durey, 'Gryffindor is sure to win!'

Looking up randomly from petting Mimi, Amy could see many of the kids having conversations, while many were just getting on the train. The talking varied from the summer vacation to the Quidditch matches. Smiling to herself, she hoped that the rest of the Gryffindor team had been pracitcing at least a little bit over the summer. After all, they came really close to winning the Championship last year: they had lost to Ravenclaw by only 50 points. The team did pretty well overall.
Looking out the window, she saw a clock hanging on the wall at the station. They still had 30 minutes before the train even left. Mimi gave a tiny hoot as she was still in her half-asleep state. Her blue eyes scanned the new area, slowly waking up. One could honesty mistake her for a large white cotton ball or dust bunny. Amy looked out of the compartment, to see if she recognized anyone.

She roamed around the Hufflepuff Common room. As being the first student at hogwarts, she read a D.A.D.A book. Defence aginst the dark arts was not only her favorite class, but her best. She never met any of the professors, only the headmaster. She sighed deeply, Happy she didn't need to go to that 'wreached household' agian.

Noticing someone speak to her, she looked up to see someone she knew quite well: Gryffindor seeker Durey. He's done pretty well overall for a Seeker; his eyes are quick when finding the Snitch. Hearing him invite her, while she normally became shy when it came to contact with those she didn't know well, the Gryffindor team had all became pretty good friends. Besides, she knew she couldn't stay quiet all year long.
"Ok, thanks! Just give me a sec." she replied, and managed to get her luggage down, falling onto the floor as she did so. Darn, why do we have to put our luggage way up there? she thought, yet she was the only one who had troubles with this sort of thing. Getting up, she sat the bird atop her head (for she was way to short to accidently hit her head on the way through a door) and moved her stuff towards the compartment opposite of hte one she had just recently inhabited. Half-throwing her stuff onto the luggage cart above them, she secured it and sat down in teh seat opposite of him. "Sorry about that. Luggage stuff has never been my specialty." she said, giving a small laugh. She sat the fluffball into her lap and pet her. "So, how was your summer, Durey?" she asked.

"My summer has been great," said Durey, as he waved his wand pointing to the luggage, and the luggage floated into the compartment. "There you go. I learned a thing or 2 from my parents. So how was your summer?" asked Durey.

"Pretty good. It's been laid back overall. I also got this little fuzzball over the summer." Amy said, pointing to the small owl in her lap, and it gave a sleepy 'hoot'. "I've been training her to get the mail and stuff, like the rest of the owls. You'd be surprised at what she can carry with ease."
She noticed that it got considerably more crowded within the train; apparently a lot more students had entered. She saw the blurr of a couple first years run past the compartment, and heard a 'thump' as one of them tripped and fell. Standing up and poking her head out the door to she if the student was ok, she saw that some other students had already helped a small boy back to his feet. She sat down again.

"Look at this," said Durey, pulling out his invisibility cloak. "It may have some rips in it, but I plan to repair those later. This may be the best thing ever!" Durey put it on, turning invisible where there weren't rips, but where there was, his clothes and skin was showing. "Let me try to repair it," said Durey, "I hope The Trace doesn't find me." Durey pointed his wand at the cloak, and said, "Reparo." The cloak started to repair itself, but it couldn't fully repair. "At least it is better than nothing."

Amy watched as he disappeared behind the cloak, although she could see bits of shirt and jeans, and a small lock of hair. "An Invisibility cloak. Interesting...but ya might wanna be careful where and when you use that." she added, nodding towards a couple of amazed second years, their mouths open in wonder.
Turning back towards him, she looked outside the window. "Gah, you wouldn't believe how many times last year I've been mistaken for a third year, if not younger. Honesty, pretty soon I might have to wear a "I'm a 6th year student" sign around my neck!" she said.

"I think I have one of those," said Durey. He reached into his trunk, moving Defense against the Dark Arts book, Muggles and Magic, Care for Magical Creatures, and found a necklace. "Here it is," he said, as he handed it to Amy. The badge said, "I'm a six year student," then every 5 seconds it flashes to, "And proud of it."

She laughed. "Thanks, but I'll be fine. It's mainly the students that get it wrong, thanks anyway though." she said, handing it back to Durey. "It's actually kinda funny, really. I'm probably not much taller than the 2nd years that where here just a sec ago. It doesn't matter though." she added, moving her hand as if she actually pushing the matter away. "As long as my grades stay good, it really doesn't matter."

"So do you think you can help me in my potions class?" asked Durey. "I am not all that good in it. I can't even make a simple Love Potion. It comes out as a Barfing Potion." Durey started staring at the ground, turning a nickel into a spider. "Spider nickel, spider nickel, does whatever a spider nickel does."
