"No, she isn't dead. You'd smell various unpleasant things. No, she's just sleeping. Must be boring in this van." Erik continued to the airport. "It'll be a ticket to Seattle, Washington. My grandfather ordered the ticket and made it so it could only be used today...wait. Did my grandfather know when he was going to die?"

Rin shrugged unsure of what Erik was feeling.She gently entered his mind to sort things out and find out a bit about his grandpa.

"You don't need to crack open my mind, you could just ask." Because of the training his grandfather gave him, Erik was able to sense it when people entered his mind, and was able to block people out.

"Are you breathing?"Rin asked Blade and Kikyo with a goofy grin.
"Of course they're breathing..."Micha said trailing off as Rin quickly slapped her hand over his mouth.
"Shhh!!!"She demanded him softly.

"Oh my gothic lolita of gothic triggin doom!!!!"Rin screamed as she semi-tackled Blade and began to gently strangle him.(yes you can strangle gently!)
"Rin what are you doing!"Micha screamed as he easily pulled hewr off.
"Saving him."Rin said looking into Micha's eyes. "Right Kikyo?"

Kikyo began to laugh.
"Rin, Blade is a normalish human. He needs to breath." she said, smiling.
"RIN! WHAT ON EARTH WAS THAT FOR?!" Blade snapped.

"You were breathing and I was trying to help you stop."Rin said meekishly as she turned into micha.
Shocked Micha wrapped his arms aorund Rin a little unsure of what to do.

Blade looked at Rin, still mad about being strangled.
Kikyo chuckled and began to explain.
"Blade, we have a joke that if we're breathing, we say we aren't. If we're ok, we say we're dead. Kapeish?"
Blade just looked confused.

Rin remained turned into Micha and began to poke around in his head.
Micha sat there and held Rin.Little did he know his mind was being searched.
"So uh Kikyo...what brought the breathing joke around?"Micha asked.

"I don't remember." she admitted. Then she smiled. "No worries! just say you're not breathing if she asks you if you are. K?"
Blade sighed and leaned back on a chair.

"Yes sir capita sir."Micha said semi-saluting.
Rin poked in his thoughts.To her it was more like seeing the mind as a giant corridor.Rin opened every door she found.Behind most things were blank and or barley filled.Than at the very end of the corridor Rin saw a large door with a old tarnished silver heart that was split in two.She pushed gently but to no avail.

Erik had given up trying to keep 4 teenagers with raging hormones under control. He simply focused on getting to the airport. It was strange that his Grandfather would buy a ticket that would only be usable today... but, Erik simply drove on, and decided to turn on the Heavy Metal station...to MAX volume. And yes, 11 is louder then 10.
