One of the pirates took a hard swing with his fist at Isshin, who stepped to the side and slashed downward onto the pirate's back with his razor's, one after the other. A gash was left in the side of the pirate's back, pulsating and bleeding. The same drunk stood up and punched Isshin in the chest. The barber flew back and fell to the ground. As he scrambled to his feet he sent an uppercut slash on the pirate's chest, the pirate winced.

Blood sprayed out from the pirate's neck. Finally Isshin realized this wasn't from his razors but more of from a bullet. He began to realize that someone from afar was sniping these guys out, either to help Isshin or to take them out so this guy could challenge the Barber. Isshin decided to take this guy out to protect him from further harm. He closed his left razor and slammed the handle into the pirate's temple, knocking him out.

As the drunk collapsed to the ground the barber noticed all the others that were furious and thought Isshin was behind it all. Another came flailing arms after Isshin. The barber put away his razors and drew his rifle. He thought it wasn't the best choice but he had no plans with shooting it at all. He gripped the barrel of the firearm and swung with a good amount of force slamming into the drunk's head. Another knock-out hit.

Another piercing bullet went right through this pirate. as he fell to the ground. Isshin wasn't ready for another brawl at this moment so he decided he might as well get this over with. He ran to the larger group behind and swung his rifle smacking each pirate and watch them fall like pins. At about this time a bullet flew through the air and pierced right through Isshin's left arm. Lucky for him, it wasn't his head. He winced and tucked in his arm, it was very painful but he carried on.

Finally Isshin began to connect the shots to a target. He stared far out towards the general area of the shots. As he focused he saw a figure on a rooftop. The figure was tall and slender and a long stick like shape extended out from the shadow. Stupidly, the barber kept looking and then a sound of a bullet filled the area and shot was fired once again at Isshin. He quickly rolled and dodged it this time though. A cloud of dust covered Isshin from further fire.

Meanwhile, the sniper was reloading his rifle and aiming at the cloud. Isshin was readying himself for an offensive movement. He armed himself with his rifle and rolled out of the cloud and aimed at the figure and fired a ten bullet combo. Ten projectiles flew through the air aimed at the shadow. The barber watched as the figure rolled off the rooftop. Isshin cranked his arm in accomplishment, he felt victorious, but to his surprise, it wouldn't last as long as he would hope.

The barber began to run over to check out his results but soon found no body to match. He was confused, stumped, and curious as to what happened. He raised his hand and scratched the top of his head in thought. Moments later a hand appeared on his shoulder, flinching back he turned and saw a familiar figure. Surprised, Isshin aimed his rifle at the man in pont blank range for self defense in an offensive manner. In response the rifle was lowered, pushed down by the man's hand trying to mean no more harm.

"Look I mean no harm, I just never saw you around these parts and was curious of your abilities. I did notice however that you are quite the clumsy marksmen. What is your name?" said the figure. "I'm...Isshin Akashio, I'm a barber?" he replied in a confused response. The man responded revealing he was Van Auge of the Blackbeard Pirates. Isshin heard a little bit about this man but not much, he offered to hone his marksmen skills. Isshin accepted the offer.

Van Auge began to explain to Isshin that he might want to use his scopr more carefully on his rifle, and to never point a rifle in close combat, because it allows the opponent to have too much reaction time. Reaction time to rip the rifle out of your hands, hit you in the gut, or just finish you off in that one moment. He didn however comment that the use of physical combat with his rifle was very good, but to try and stick to the cutthroat barber razors. The barber razors were sharp and caused enough damage to hinder the oppenet for a chance to get away and finsh them off in ranged combat. Ranged combat was key for a marksmen and what they have trained their whole lives for.

While the Blackbeard Pirate's Marksmen was commenting Isshin's combat skills, a seagull flew overhead. There was a slight pause and Van Auge lifted his rilfe up into the air and aimed with his scope and followed ahead of the seagull's path. He fired and the bullet pierced through the avian. Isshin turned towards Van Auge saying, "Nice Shot!" He nodded and explained to him that's how he gunned down that pirate with the sword about to make like an executioner. He also notied that if you aim right, the shot will pierce right through causing a very horrible wound that is extremely difficult to treat or heal.

Isshin was quite thrilled with these skills honed and operated better. He was beginning to get good at aiming but he needed some way at advancing his combo shots farther. The barber told Van Auge about his training with Yasopp and he was amazed by bullet combos, Auge took this and started teaching Isshin a new trick. It was a combo, and as soon as he spoke, he was immeadiatly interested. Van Auge found it odd that the barber had such a high interest in bullet combos. The marksmen of the Blackbeard Pirates liked random, and that is what he was going to teach this twenty-two year old barber.

"Now this technique is not completely accurate but it very effective if luck is on your side." explained Van Auge. Isshin grew a smile and held his rifle tightly. He told him that this technique is just pointing, aiming, and firing. No waste of time for this many shots. When luck is on your side, your opponent won't know how to handle you or your skills and therefore you have gained the upperhand. The upperhand in a long range fight is what will kill the opponent, they don't know how to react and they are surely not given enough time for their lucky shot.

While Van Auge was explaining a flock of seagulls flew overhead, there was about seven of them. "Ah, perfect moment to show you" Auge commented. Isshin flashed looks at the flock and Van Auge, going back and forth between them. He held his rifle and pointed it in that general direction and fired, really quickly and no aiming involved. The barber saw four seagulls fall down from the bullet combo. More than half were taken down with little to no aim. This technique was almost explained as an offensive moevement and a distraction all in one.

The three remaining seagulls fleed after the attack. Wings flapping crazily and frequent squawks of fear appeared in the seagull's behavior. Isshin hald his rifle in his hand and stared off into the distance towards the avians. He gripped his rifle tighter and slightly lifted it up to reach his other hand. His rifle sat in both of his hands, cold like ice but, warm at the same time. As lifted his rifle and fired a bullet combo equal to that of Van Auge's. It was thruty-six bullets that shot at the three gulls. All but one were shot down. Gulls had dropped in all different places from these demonstrations.

Once the gulls were reduced to one, Isshin lifted his gun and lined up for a scope shot. Van Auge smiled at Isshin's application of his techniques. Once the gun wias lined up with the final seagull, Isshin fired. The bullet zipped right up to the bird and split right through it. The barber smiled and slowly dropped his rifle to his side. The barrels expelled a subtle cloud of smoke that lifted into the air and disappated. Van Auge commented on Isshin use of thechniques in the field. The barber enjoyed the praises and was then asked about the reasoning behind the barber razors by Van Auge.
