Well, you see, Gander Mountain actually has different levels of banishment. For something like destroying the store, they ban you from all of them for life, or at least until they forget. For something like kidnapping a customer and killing them off of store property, they really only ban you for like a week or so... just so the public won't get upset. Now, as a side note, they actually don't care if you kidnap employees, regardless of what you do with them, so long as it doesn't affect customers or the building. I found that part very interesting. So, to answer your question, yes, it does make a difference.
