Ouka Dark Is that oxy, the bald guy in the pic? If so he looks like he'd be awesome to party with XD. Really, though, my father is totally to blame for the whole "profesional, corporate" aspect of this guild. Well, no, I'm totally to blame, but that's besides the point. There's no way in hell I ever would have thought to introduce the whole "corporations hierarchy element" to Burn [like having various Chief Officers of things, & calling myself the "CEO / President" instead of the "Captain" & all that], if it weren't for the fact that my dad's long career in business made him enough money so that I more or less will never have to worry about money. Plus, the lawfirm my father currently works at is only a few buildings down from the official FBI building on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC, so who knows what kind of contagious men-in-black-style diseases he might have picked up & passed onto me over the past 10 years :Rofl:

As for the Patriot Act... that was the pretty controversial bill that Bush signed a few years ago or whatever that enabled the government to pry into people's private affairs a lot more in numerous ways & such for the stated purpose of being able to track down terrorists a lot easier or something, right? Like, wasn't that kind of what introduced all the recent concerns about privacy violations & how the government can do things like easily wiretap anyone's phones without their knowledge if they can prove they had any reason to believe that the person was a terrorist or whatever [& trust me, the government can always prove they had reason to believe anybody was anything; after all, they ARE the government]? I might be kind of off on that & overstating some things, but I know it's something along those lines.
I'm not sure how I feel about the Patriot Act, since I obviously don't know enough about it to form a concrete opinion, plus I really don't foresee it having any impact on my personal life. I think most of it sounds pretty iffy, but I have to also take into consideration facts like how easily the bill was passed by both houses of Congress & stuff, which must mean something, since not much is every easily passed like that, & politicians do tend to be more "in the loop" about politics than most other people & whatever.
Two components about the Patriot Act that I without question deplore are A) Any & all additional rights, leverage, or whatever that it grants law enforcement [& by that I mean cops, not lawyers], &, B) That it allotted much more power to the Secretary of Treasury, whom as far as I'm concerned was pretty much like another d**k Cheney to Bush but in a much more "undercover way". I of course don't have all the facts on that or whatever, but I do know that a year or maybe two after the Patriot Act was passed Bush's Secretary of Treasury masterminded the whole Ballout Bill dealio, which was one of the worst ideas I've ever heard. But then again, I do hold a personal vendetta against Bush's Secretary of Treasury: his house is three houses down from my parent's house in DC, which of course they didn't even think to tell me until like a year ago. I've been trying to meet the dude for the past year or so, just for the novelty of it, but even after he was no longer the Secretary of Treasury [meaning all the Men in Black parolling his house 24/7 are almost entirely gone now] the ******** is 20x harder to get to than much more prominant political figures, & probably 100x harder to get to than Hilary Clinton, since Clinton's actually incredibly sociable & superbly easy to chat up about anything at dinner parties. But, I refuse to give up, I WILL meet that ********, if not in this lifetime than in hell, lmfao.
&, I'm way too lazy to watch that whole YouTube video, but generally I don't get offended by much of anything unless 1) I'm in a super horrible mood & need to lash out about something, or 2) It's a direct personal attack on me or somebody I really love.

Hmm, well, that actually never occured to me, probably because I'm SO terrible at meeting deadlines myself. However, I'm just as certain that you're great at meeting deadlines as I am certain that I'm the epitome of failure at meeting deadlines, so, I'll let you choose whatever date you'd like as the "official date" your CVO Reports will be due each month [or if you want to set some sort of "range", like for example between the 1st & 5th of each month, that your CVO reports are due, that would be more than fine with me. Whatever works best for you, basically]
