((Alright, well as of now, I am the GM. I've talked to Destiny and I now have access to her account and will be keeping up with the rp for her. I've yet to go check her pm's, but I'm about to do that now. So if you have a plan, go ahead and send it to me, Marael, so I don't have to worry about swapping between the two accounts.
Sorry I didn't post earlier, I was really really busy with school crap and all I wanted to do when I got home was sleep... how pathetic. xp ))

((Sounds good biggrin ))
"I was thinking the same thing." she added, "And I think she's going to be powerful too. I haven't seen a lot of earth magick performed but to grow plants, especially Starberries, that fast takes a lot of effort. And they just sprung out of the ground," she threw up her arms in emphasis, a smile still on her face. "It was like watching those weird mushroom monsters that pop out of the dirt and start running around when you pour hot water on them." Her eye twitched, "Well... without the running around bit at least." She laughed nervously and took another bite of her Starberry. Stupid mushrooms.
Rylee looked to Luke on the bed when she heard his question and then to Valerye at hers, "Do you mean the weapons arena?" she asked in confusion, she hadn't heard of a magic arena before but that just might have been because she didn't get out much. She was lame like that. The only arena she knew of was the weapons one. "Because if you are I can take you there, I've been there before." she added, looking between Luke, Valerye and Marael.
Rylee’s attention was pulled from the three when she spotted the large panther sitting contentedly by the bed as he had his head pat by Luke. She stared at the cat, mesmerized. She hadn't gotten a chance to really look at the marvellous animal with all the confusion that had been going on but now that she did, she felt properly amazed. He was even more striking up close, and for a cat lover like Rylee, him being a panther was just even more terrific.
"He's beautiful," she said softly, still looking at the large cat and wishing she had a relationship with such a magnificent cat the way that Marael seemed to have with Gabe. She felt slightly envious.
((Sorry... I didn't know if you guys were doing anything special with the plot but I wanted to kind of catch up a bit myself))

((Ha, well I guess its our fault for not being quick about posting. Actually Marael and I have a sort 'plan' to work out. *ish proud* But still, I'm sort of zonked from the crap going on at school so I might not post until later today gonk ... or if I'm really going to pursue my lameness, it might not be til tomorrow. But hopefully it won't come to that. So as soon as I get my literate inspiration back I shall post with avengance!! And if no one ends up replying to this little rant, I'll just edit this post into an actual rp post. But do as you will, I shall adjust.))

((Yeah, we probably should have said something to you guys...sorry!! But never fear, Iesumi and I are working it out. I decided to go ahead and get us starte again, Iesumi.))
Marael smiled at Rylee.
"He won't bite. You can pet him if you like." She said, nodding towards the relaxed Gabe, who turned his golden eyes to regard Marael and then Rylee.
"No, there is a Magic Arena, where elves go to learn and practice their skills." She answered the girl's earlier question. "It is like a giant testing ground for new skills. Probably placed a ways away from the village in case of...mishaps." She glanced at Emmia for confirmation then back at the humans. "And no, you will not be going there. Emmia and I will teach you control and magic here. Luke and Rylee, Emmia will be teaching you fire magic." She nodded at the pair of them. "I will work with Valerye and Terra, and we will see what kind of magic you have." She finished with a smile. "But not today. We will start soon enough."
((Oh, and Darkness, I think Emmia is going to be in touch with you. Don't worry...we haven't forgotten you!!!))

Never really being one to sit around in pity, Luke stops petting Gabe and pulls on the blankets under him. Slowly, he lifts his legs and lets them fall off the side of the bed, his now bare feet hitting to floor with a small thud. He slowly slands, a little shaky... "Well...I seem to be fundtional." He looks up and grins at Terra. Then, glancing back at Marael, he realizes...he's been stripped of his vest and boots. Not that it really made a difference...His swirled eyes scan the room...each of these people...his friends...He then laughs a bit at himself. "Hah...we fight some sort of large creature...then almost have a conflict with an Elf, I have yet to see any real action, and I'm still the first one out cold. Go figure." He doesn't try to take a step yet...dude just woke up, give him a break. "How long was I out, anyway?" He looks to Emmia.

Emmia nodded to Marael, assuring her that she was right. The Arena was much too far for a simple afternoon stroll. And what with the lack of patience she had for such long hikes, Emmia was sure it would not put her in a reasonable mood for training humans her were basically new to magick in general. Plus, as she watched Luke slide from the bed she could tell just by his unsteady stance that he was not ready for something as intimidating as a full out spar at either Arena. "Yes... its not commonly used for first lessons. And the trip there would only worsen things." she glanced at Luke's wavering balanced and instinctively stood with him, trying to be sure he was fully able. She let out a small laugh at his comments and smiled. "Give it time." she said to him. "Your body should get used to the shock. You were out for almost a full twenty four hours."
"Yeah, thanks for that. While you pulled a 'Sleeping Beauty', the rest of us were scared half to death thinking you'd left us for good!!" she said, faking outrage and failing to hide the grin that crept into her curved lips. His grin had made her cheeks pinken slightly, but she managed to recover her normal skin tone while Emmia and Marael went on. She'd been only half listening until her name had been mentioned. She turned to Marael, excitement replacing the embarrassment as she imagined the vast powers she might possess. She looked down at the almost empty basket still in her arm, the lush Starberries almost glowing under her gaze.
Emmia subdued a rising urge to snort at Terra's outburst. If she recalled the events of the previous day correctly, there had only been one person imparticular who'd been in such a near-panic state. The elf grinned, but it faded in a second as she gasped lightly, as if she'd suddenly remembered something. She glanced at all the faces within the room and thought it was perfectly proper to assume that all would be well in her brief absence. She dodged those near the stair way and muttering as she headed for the wooden spiral leading to the lower level of her small tree. "Oh, I can't believe I almost forgot them..." she glanced out the windows and nodded to herself, continueing to the stairs. "Its almost time too. Ah." she realized she had yet to explain why she was leaving. "Um, I have something rather important to attend to, due forgive my rudeness. I trust you won't let him burn my house down while I'm gone." She directed the last bit to Marael, throwing a smirk over her shoulder in Luke's direction as she hurried from the room. She fluttered down the steps and out the door, glancing around in the blinding light of a renewed mid-morning sun.

"Won't be on purpose, I assure you." He about halfway grins as he stretches slightly. His body feels so...tight...

Marael waved a hand in Emmia's direction at her request, before the girl disappeared down the stairs. She smirked at Luke's comment.
"I do not expect you to be able to do any magic today, Master Flame." She said with a smile. "Even if you knew how." She glanced at the door, wondering where Emmia was off to. She hesitated a moment in indecision, before walking to the door.
"Gaebrial, come. You need to go hunt." She said, opening the door. The panther looked at her a moment in consideration, cocking his head in an obvious question. Marael gave a sigh. "We shall all still be here when you get back. Now get going, you lump." She said, motioning out the door again. Gabe, with the utmost dignity stood up and slipped out the door, pausing to wrap his tail around Marael's leg before disappearing down the stairs. She smiled to herself and shut the door gently behind him.
She turns and looks Luke over again. "How are you feeling?"

Luke grins after he stops stretching. "Other than the fact my joins feel like they're on fire, I'm great." Master Flame, eh? I like it. He begins to rub the back of his neck with his left hand and grins. "And I suppose I have you to thank for that, eh?"

Thayli leaned against one of the many tree trunks and sighed. "I know it was supposed to be in this direction, so why can I not find it?"
Lethya, who was standing beside him, smiled and shook her head."It is not your fault, perhaps they have put up defences that do not let them be found by anyone but them. We do not really know."
Thayli nodded and stood up. "I just hope we find them soon, I told Emmia that I would return sometime close to this date, and I fear that if we do not find them soon, she will give up looking for us."
Lethya smiled again. "You worry to much. Do not worry, I am sure we will find them soon enough, now let us continue."
Thayli nodded and started to walk again, now occasionally marking one of the trees with a dagger of his so that they would not get lost.

Seeing no one in the immediate area, Emmia had set off into the forest, worrying that she'd missed them already. She fought the urge to look back over her shoulder at her tree home, thinking it would be too much of a suspicious action. Emmia's footsteps were inaudible from all the experience she had with stealth within the forest. Her gaze scanned the trees around her, searching for some sign of passage or a presence. Nothing stood out abnormally. She'd been walking for a while when she noticed a fresh cut on the bark of a nearby tree. She approached with caution, glancing around before tracing the mark with her slender finger tips. Then a faint, sketchy echoe of voices reached her pointed ears. She quickly estimated in her head how far away the sources of said voices were, her head whipping to look in the general direction. Without a sound she leaped up into the tree's branches, shrowded by the shadow cast by the speckled sunlight. She started moving, leaping from tree to tree like an animal. In a few short moments she was close to where she'd thought the voices had come from. Staying hidden, she slowed her movement until she was only a few yards away in a tree behind two figures. She couldn't quite make out who they were, so she opted to wait on revealing herself until she knew for sure.

Thayli and Lethya had been talking about Lethya's training when they both sensed that someone or something was near them. Thayli sensed it through the earth, and Lethya had sensed it by the displacement of air. They both looked at each other, but quickly continued talking.
"So you say that this friend of yours is a Shalondian elf like yourself?" Lethya asked, keeping most of her attention on any other displacements of the air.
"Yes, although I never really got the chance to spar with him myself, I did watch him spar with one of the round eared elves." Thayli said as he stopped and carefully marked another tree. "I'm sure that he would not mind teaching you what he was taught."
