"Don't you dare," she warned, though she couldn't keep the amused smile off her face. If he tried it, she knew she'd do her best to take him down with her. It was simply in her nature.

He dared, and pushed at her. "Are you certain you can take me on, minak ainann?"

With a soft laugh, She wrapped her front legs around him and yanked him into the river with her. "Oh, I think I can handle my own."

Zakiel laughed, "So far, I have to agree. But how about now?" He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck.

"Mmm.... I still think I can handle my own," she murmured, though the words were purred more than spoken.

Zakiel grinned, "I'm not so sure. I think I know just how to placate you."

"Know me so well, do you?" Crimson Dawn wasn't certain if she liked that idea or not.

He nuzzled her and loosened his grip. "You know me just as well."  

[divena]

She considered that, snuggling against him despite his loosened grip. "I suppose I do?"  

[sunchaser9000]

"You do, or would if you would look. If you chose to do it, you could have me begging in front of you...and while that could be very fun, it's not a position that anyone else could put me in, unless they were threatening your life."

"And that doesn't bother you?" It bothered her, though she wasn't sure what she could do about it.
