Marael smiled at Luke's face when she labeled him "Master Flame," and nodded after his last statement.
"It happens. Water and Fire tend to cancel each other quite nicely. It was a very rash thing to do." She admitted walking over to sit on the edge of the bed. "If your magic had been any stronger...well, it might have been messy." Marael smiled. "But it all turned out fine, so there is no use looking back. It has been a long time since I acted as a focus for a student. Several decades at least." She gave a thoughtful sigh.

"So, I'm to be out of action for a day, eh? I think I can manage that..."
He falls back onto the bed and leans back, his arms stretched out to either side, his left arm now basically behind Marael. His eyes close as he just tries to relax...his muscles are still tense...

"So... While Luke's out, what are we going to do?" Valerye asked, looking at Marael as she indicated with her head, the rest of the humans in the tree house.

Rylee's eyes widened with a grin and she scooted closer to the panther, managing to pet his silky head a few times before he was shooed off to go hunt. She smiled brightly and then turned to Valerye.
"What if we went to the Market and stocked up on supplies?" she suggested. "If we're going to start learning how to control our powers, wouldn't it be best if we were prepared for anything that might happen?" she shrugged then added "Plus it would give everyone a chance to look around and become familiar with the city." She finished and sipped at her juice.

((Hey everyone...I am really sorry, but my computer got a virus or something...so I won't be online for a while. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, but I may not be posting with any regularity until I can get someone to look at it...sorry again!))

((I hate to say it but I too shall be M.I.A for awhile. My mom is gone up to BC (British Colombia) For two weeks so I while be gone for that time. Sorry sweatdrop ))

((Yeah, just not leave either of them behind. I'll Emmia where she is, I guess, and we'll just have to stay around the house until they're back. I hate being left whenever I can't post, so we won't do that to them.
Meanwhile... I'll bring Terra back to life.))
Terra sipped at her mug of sweet vanilla-hinted juice and listened as they all talked here and there to each other. She had watched Emmia flee out the door and was going to ask where the elf was going in such a hurry, but when she'd turned to do so the woman was already gone. Terra sighed and sat herself down on the tiny stool Emmia had left between the window and the bed, placing her nearly empty basket on the floor beside her.
She looked up, tuning back into the conversations. She caught Rylee's reply to Valerye's open question and was intrigued by the idea. Terra was anxious to train with magick.
"We could... at least then we'd have some sort of footing in the place." Terra commented before turning to look at Luke, seeing that he'd just flopped back onto the bed.
"That is... if Master Flame over there can manage to walk around for that long. Which I doubt." she said, grinning a little.

Luke's head tilts a bit as he looks over to Terra.
"I can handle whatever you wish to put me through."
An eyebrow raises as he states this in a slightly deeper tone (for he's laying down, of course).

Luke slowly sits up.
"I think some fresh air is calling to me.
He slowly and only a tad unsteadily stands. Smiling at Terra, he begins trying to make his way towards the door.

Terra smiled back, feigning a slightly surprised expression that he'd managed to set himself upright. She knew he could do it and was perfectly capable of whatever, like he'd said, but she enjoyed teasing him.
Seeing that her suggestions weren't breaking through into the conversation, Terra decided to just give in to whatever they chose.
She stood as Luke stepped away from the bed and towards the stairs. Her slender fingers snagged at his arm gently and held him there as she came beside him.
"Can I come...?" she asked, grinning at him. "You know, to make sure you don't tip over or topple down the steps."
