Venya opened her eyes just in time to see the sleek purple and gold form of Cayimmi sneak away. Grinning, she jumped down from her perch and quietly followed him, keeping a safe distance away. She lifted her paws gingerly through the grasses so as not to make any noise. Where was he going all by himself? Sure, Venya knew the cub thought himself invincible, but it was still dangerous. Her tail waved slightly as she continued to weave through the grasses.

"Hope it goes well." He grins and rolls to his side, he looks to her with soft eyes. " A King is nothing without a his love and Queen, to whom he worships endlessly." He stretches out his paws and yawns. "Maybe we should send Adaeze over there sometime, I hear he has many sons.." His brows knit together as he snorts with a laugh. "Or we can lock her away...I like that idea better."


Niobe's head rolled back towards where Cayimmi was coming from, as if he'd just appeared from her thoughts. A slow sweet smile tugged on her muzzle as she then lifted her head, "Oh? Did I now?" She heard her brothers call, but figured it would have been best to stay out of his personal affairs, if she'd been needed, he knew how to get ahold of her at all times. "Well Sir Cayimmi, I believe that tuff of mane you have is coming in quite well..Growing into such a handsome lion." She smiled again.

Benoni had been out checking the lands, only to stumble upon beauty basking in the sun. He worried though, she was heavy with cubs, it could be a bit dangerous for her to be out here so far alone. "Oooh professional..." He called out. A lazy grin covered his muzzle as he padded towards her, soon he'd bestow such chores with his sons and show them the ways of the land.

Angel had snuck away fom the others and was at the river again fishing. She had gotten very good at catching fish. She had been doing this every now and then for a while now. Today she would catch a fish and bring it to her mom as a surprise. She liked bringing Kila gifts. Angel watched the water and waited for a fish to swim by. Then she pounced. She came out of the water soaking wet and was holding a big fish in her mouth. Now she needed to find mom. She put the fish down and smelled the air. She knew her moms scent and would track her down. Once she had the scent she picked up the fish and ran twords where Kila was. Angel was getting very good at tracking things down too. Then she smelled something bad. Something else was out there. Angel ran faster and finnally found Kila. She put down the fish beside Kila and smiled. "I cought this for you mom." Angel shook off some of the water still dripping from her fur and got everyone wet. Then she smelled the bad smell again. "Mom I smell something bad and its getting closer." In the distance some Hyena's were gathering.

Niobe padded towards the river, Cayimmi had disappeared there once again. A soft smile graced her face as she thought of him, though as far as she knew. He was out of her reach, her aching heart cried out softly as she took a deep breath. She'd wait, not many came calling for her attentions anyways. She paused as she spied a full grown male, something seemed familiar about him, she sniffed at the air. It smelt a wee bit familiar as well, she froze though. Ears perked forward, her eyes stared. "Whose there?" She called out as she waved her tail out behind her.

"You shouldnt be out here alone dearest." He nuzzled her affectionately. "Where has your sister run off to? I know she isnt sworn to stay here, but she is family...and I admit. I worry." He sat down beside her, gazing over the land they called home. "Our sons are growing, meeting young ladies, though Adaeze stays close to home, something is amiss with her love..."

Her pale lavender eyes widened as she stared. "Cayimmi.." Was all she could utter, her vocals soft and tender as she moved closer towards him. Lifting a paw she touched his golden shaded mane, making sure it was real and not another dream..." I could never mistake you for anyone else..I just..wasnt...expecting this.." She couldnt help it as her eyes welled with tears softly. "Your...more handsome than I could ever have dreamed." She smiled softly looked down at her striped paws now. What on earth was happening to her..

Tequila smiled, "You worry to much," all he had voiced were concerns. "I'm sure Jasmyn is just fine she knows how to take care of herself, though I do admit I wish I could see her more often than I do..." she smiled slightly. "I think our Tabbi is enjoying the company of the female visitor." she smiled softly and it faded to the thought of Adaeze, "I'm sure she'll find someone, a young suitor will come around eventually." she smiled hopefully. She felt movement in her, it would be soon. She looked to see Angel joining her, she longed to be alone with Benoni but she wouldn't turn away her childern. "S'alright pumpkin, there out of our borders." she had scented them earlier. A new scent came to her now though with another, "Anu." she whispered to Benoni gently.

Anu came to the borders with Daveigh, his female friend. It made him smile thinking of that. His azure orbs looking over the land, he let out a roar signalling his coming home. He turned to his love, "You ready, beautiful?" he asked in his usual mysterious tone. He heard Tabansi roar back, welcoming him. The grey male was sun bathing most likely, he knew what his own brother enjoyed doing. He was suprised he wasn't with Mariposa, though he didn't know if he was or not at the moment.

Mari lay not too far from the excitement of the pride, still feeling a bit like an outsider. Of course, aside from Tabansi, she hadn't really attempted to make any friends... Tabansi and Anu.... and Benoni... but that seemed to be a formality only. She enjoyed being here, with friends, but it seemed as though she might have to move on soon.... Too soon it seemed...
