Sora sat down in the driver's seat of the car and put his seat belt on since Riku couldn't safely drive. "Let's go have some mostly-alone time now," he told his boyfriend happily as he started up the car. "First thing: shower. I really...really need one. And...I'd like it if you'd at least sit in the bathroom with me. You don't have to get in the shower with me or anything if it makes you uncomfortable. I just want you in the bathroom with me..," he told him as he backed out of the parking spot and drove through and out of the parking lot of the hospital.

"I sure hope so. They've been through enough already." He buckled himself in and looked over at Demyx with a smile. "They'll be fine, Dem. As long as they have each other, they'll be fine. Kinda like you and me," he told him before leaning over and kissing him lovingly.

Riku smiled to Sora as he clicked the passenger seat belt around him. "Haha, yeah, sorry that I couldn't really drive. I really am considering suing the police department for breaking my arm. That was so stupid.. I don't really know what I am going to do about the band at the moment. I mean how am I suppose to play my keyboard without other arm."The silverette said softly looking down at the case with a glare. His arm was sooooo useless. "I can sit with you if you want. I can't get my cast wet, but I can sit with you." Riku said softly as he watched Sora driving out of the parking lot. The thought occurred to ask if Sora had his driver's license, because he couldn't remember if he did or not, but then decided against it. If he didn't have one, Riku didn't want to know.

Demyx nodded a little as he pulled his seat belt over himself. "I love you, you know that?"Demyx said simply as he pulled his legs up into the seat and laid back into it. He had slept so much over the past few days that now his body seemed to be tired out by the foreign exercise of an outing.

Soda smiled at Riku. "I could always fill in for you," he told him jokingly as he drove down the road. He hummed softly to the quiet radio as he drove alon and listened to Riku speak. "Okay. As long as you sit in there with me. You don't Ben have to look at me when I get undressed. I just want to spend as much time as possible with you," he told him openly, a bright smile on his face. It was about a ten minute drive to Riku's apartment from the hospital.

"I love you too Dem," he replied with a loving smile the blond's way. "Don't fall asleep. The apartments not that far away. I might have to carry you inside," he told him, a little laughter in his voice. "Though, I wouldn't mind that at all," he added softly as he pulled out o the parking lot and headed down the road in the opposite direction of Riku's place.

Riku laughed a little. "Well maybe, but with the luck I have been having, you'll be tremendously better than me and they will replace me with you." Riku pointed out posing a joke and complimenting Sora's talent all in one. He nodded a little at Sora's proposal. "Oh that's fine, I guess we'll worry about how to get myself clean tomorrow or late tonight at the earliest." Riku said with a slight smile. He knew that he wasn't exactly comfortable sitting in with Sora whil he was bathing, but it meant something to Riku that Sora wanted him to be there. He could be a little uncomfortable for Sora's sake.

Demyx waved off the notion with his hand. "I'm not tired... not even a little." He mumbled a little practically already asleep. He took a deep breath as he laid against his knees. His eyelids were drooping low now. "You should carry me inside anyways... I like being carried..."Demyx mumbled a little with the last bit of energy he had. After that, he passed out curled up in a ball in the passenger seat.

Sora smiled brightly, blushing at Riku's compliment. " there's no way I could replace you. You're too amazing. I'm nowhere near as good ad you are. And you can't say anything because you've never heard me play. So nyeh." He stick his tongue out playfully at the silvernette. He happily pulled into Riku's apartment complex and parked in front of the building. "Bath time!" Sora said happily, glad he could finally scrub the filth of being used off of him. He got out of the car and shut the door quickly, waiting a little impatiemtly for Riku to get out so they could go up to the apartment. The desperation of needing to get clean was suddenly hitting him and making him antsy.

Axel smiled softly over at his blond, admiring his sleeping face. "Already planned on it, Baby. You just sleep," he mumbled in a gentle bounce, reaching over to run his fingers through the blond locks once before replacing his hand on the wheel and driving.

"You say that, but if you already know how to play the piano, then all I have on you is probably just a few years of devoted playing since I have been in the band so long." Riku noted seeing as with enough practice anyone could play keyboard music, it wasn't like Sora had to try and copy his voice. He only sang back-up on rare occasion. As they pulled up to his apartment building, the place looked like heaven to the silver-haired male. He was so ready to calm down and catch up on his sleep before the next catastrophe happened. Riku laughed a little as Sora practically jumped out of the car while it was still moving, before he started to climb out. "If you want you can go run up and start the water since you seem to be so impatient. I wouldn't want to slow you down."Riku said jokingly as he pointed to his keys. The key to the apartment was on the same key-chain as his car keys.

"No, it wouldn't be right of me to leave you. It is your apartment," he told him and pranced back over to him. He hooked his arm through Riku's good one and smiled over to him. "Escort me inside, Good Sir," he told him as they began walking up to the apartment, Sora helping Riku keep his balance the whole way. When they reached the door, Sora took the liberty of unlocking it and opening the door for Riku to walk through.

"Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and get in the shower," he told him, pointing with his thumb back to the bathroom. "Feel free to come in whenever you want. I'll crack the door right before I get in so you know it's safe for you to come in and not see any naughty bits, okay?" he told him then kissed his lips gently. He smiled brightly. "Thank you for worrying about me, by the way. I appreciate it," he added and leaned down to kiss Riku's cast gently. Then he turned and pranced away to the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

He got undressed and stared at himself in the mirror for a moment before shaking his head and turning away. He cracked the door like he said he would then slid into the shower, closing the door behind him. There was no curtain, but the glass was frosted, so you couldn't see through it clearly. Really you could see only a silhouette. He sighed as the water finally slid over his skin. He grabbed the soap and his bath sponge that was in the shower and began scrubbing down his skin. He scrubbed hard at his skin, realizing just how desperate he was to get the filth of that other man touching him where he didn't want to off of him. He was so concentrated on it, he probably wouldn't have even heard Riku join him in the bathroom. His mind seemed clouded with only that night, ears clogged with the sound of the man's heavy breath. He didn't notice when his skin began to turn bright red with scratch marks from scrubbing so hard, or when tears leaked down his face to mix with the shower water. "Get off, get off," he muttered to himself, scrubbing furiously at his skin.

Riku nodded a little as he watched Sora kiss his cast and prance away. Sora was simply the most adorable person Riku knew. As the brunette disappeared, Riku stepped over into the kitchen to make himself some tea to drink. He wanted to be able to keep himself calm and collected around Sora, but after everything that had happened, Riku could feel all the stress getting to him. If one more thing went wrong, he was pretty sure that he was going to explode. Sora didn't need that right now, and Riku knew that.

As the silverette leaned against the counter waiting on the water to boil, his head popped up hearing footsteps coming from down the hall. As he looked down the hall, he saw a very sleepy Roxas stumbled down the hallway. "Hey, good to see you are still kicking," Riku spoke out seeing the other. "Ummmhmmm..."the blonde mumbled as he slide into a bar chair and leaned on the opposite side of the bar. "...okay, well I'll start you some coffee, I guess." He huffed a little at the greeting. "Remind me, why Sora enjoys having you around so much?" Riku asked as he moved around the kitchen. Even though he had the cast, he seemed pretty capable around the kitchen as far as making stuff.

"Ummm, thanks..."Roxas mumbled back as he laid his head down on the counter. He didn't want to be up, but the nightmares had come back and he couldn't do it handle them anymore. As soon as Riku got the coffee started, his water had boil so he prepared his cup and started back towards the bathroom. "Don't burn yourself with the coffee, dude." Riku offered as he passed Roxas and he patted the other on the back with his good arm. At least his other hand could still hold stuff.

"Hey baby, how you doing?" Riku asked as he entered the bathroom. "Just so you know, your brother is awake, and I use the term awake very loosely." He informed him as he leaned against the counter and moved his tea bag around his ceramic mug. He didn't even look over at the glass, because he didn't want invade Sora's space when he was vulnerable.

-----

Sora gasped and jumped, dropping the sponge and knocking Riku's shampoo off of the shelf built into the wall. His voice snapped Sora back to the present where the rapist's breath wasn't there anymore. He looked down at his skin, red and raw from scrubbing it clean. He realized then that he was shaking badly.

He quickly bent down to pick the bottle and sponge off of the floor as he stuttered out a, "I-I'm fine." to Riku's question. He Ng. replaced the bottle on the shelf and took in a quiet breath to try and calm himself. He wasn't here... He couldn't hurt him again... Riku was there to protect him now. He smiled slightly at the thought.

Carefully, Sora moved to the shower door and slid it open just slightly to peek out at his boyfriend. He did his best to hide his red skin. "Riku? Can I have a kiss?" He asked hopefully, giving him a smile. The silvernette really had a ridiculous hold over his happiness.

------

Riku glanced up from the cup hearing the shakiness in Sora's voice. He wanted to ask him the question again, but he didn't want to push the other too much. Sora may be a happy person by nature, but he had just gone though something terrible. He had to be effected somehow, but if he didn't want to show that part to Riku, then Riku wasn't going to pry into the other to find it. Sora didn't have a perfect life, and he had dealt with bad things before. Riku just needed to back off and not worry Sora into a mental breakdown.

His aquamarine eyes moved directly to the crystal blue hearing him ask for a kiss. "Anything for you, sweetheart." He spoke softly moving over to the shower. He wasn't sure what kind of kiss that Sora wanted, but he was going to try his best to give Sora what he wanted. Of course, Riku was still weary of doing intimate contact with the other... Especially knowing there were two other people in the apartment. He was just going to have to try and push his fear away for the other. Sora needed him right now. The silver haired keyboard artist moved over to Sora and gave him a soft, slow kiss on the lips. He didn't want to rush it, he just wanted it to be something sweet and affectionate.

"Feel a little better?" Riku asked softly not moving back more than an inch or two. His eyes staring into the other's looking for any sign of need. As sad as it was, Riku just felt like he had no idea what would make Sora better.

------

Sora smiled against his lips and hummed. "Yes. Definitely since you're in here now," he told him completely truthfully. He didn't want to be alone if he couldn't be. Having Riku was an added bonus. He looked into Riku's eyes happily. "I know this isn't exactly comfortable for you... It's new, and you're not used to it. Don't even try to deny it, either, because I can tell. But...it makes me feel special that you're trying to get used to it." He leaned forward and kissed him softly again then ducked his head down, nuzzling into Riku's neck with his own damp skin and hair. "Thank you..."

He pulled back and kissed his cheek briefly before ducking back into the shower and sliding the door shut. "I'll be done in a few minutes, okay? If...if you want to you can go keep Roxas company, you can. You don't have to sit in here with me if you don't want to. I shouldn't have asked you to stay in here when I know it makes you uncomfortable. I'm sorry," he told him softly as he began to wash his hair out, furiously scrubbing at it to get it clean.

------

Riku smiled weakly at Sora's understanding words. He wasn't even completely sure if he was gay... He didn't like men... But he liked Sora. It was very conflicting, but not only that, he felt scared to do anything intimate. He knew that the others didn't care, but he cared that others saw him. It wasn't exactly something he was ready to make a his life. He didn't want to just put himself out there to decide later that it wasn't what he really wanted. Axel and Demyx could be what they wanted to be. Riku wasn't going to judge them, but he didn't want to be written off as gay yet. The idea just scared him, because he did still love the female persuasion. He just liked Sora, there was just something about the kid.

He had the biggest heart riku had ever seen, and he was just so happy-go-lucky. Riku just loved how free-spirited and opened minded he was. It was kind of like wanting to be with someone that was your opposite. Riku was the level-headed one in the band. While Demyx was jumping off cliffs and impulsive, Riku thought everything over, and made sure he had everything he way he was comfortable with. He was also a bit stubborn and stuck in his ways.

As Sora ducked back in the shower, Riku resumed his position leaning against the sink. "No, no, it's okay, I'm fine really. If I can't sit in the bathroom and keep you company, what can I do? Plus, Roxas is no fun half dead like he is. He will probably be groggy all day today, too," Riku informed Sora as he manned his position and sipped his well-stooped tea. The flavor of earl gray seemed to really made him feel better able the situation as he wrapped his head around everything.

-------

"Really, Riku... You...you don't have to," he assured him softly. "I know...the main reason you're even technically 'in a relationship' with me is because of that first kiss, and you feel bad for me," he added then paused a moment to take a shaky breath. "Maybe...maybe we shouldn't...shouldn't be together... At least not right now. Everything's crazy, and you don't really understand all of this...you don't know exactly what you are or want... Maybe it would be better if we just...were friends for right now..." He felt his heart sink into his stomach as he said what he really didn't want to but knew was true. "I think maybe that would be best...for right now," he added, voice shaking slightly.

Sora took a moment to steady his breath and calm his shaking. "C-can you go get my bag of clothes? It's in the living room," he asked as he felt himself falling apart again. He knew that was the right thing to do. Riku needed to find himself before he dove head-first into this relationship with Sora. He obviously wasn't ready to accept himself as gay, and Sora was already completely comfortable with himself in that aspect. It wasn't really fair to either one of them to try for a relationship.

----

Riku's lips turned downward into a frown as he stared down at the dark brown liquid. Sora's words seemed to trouble him more and more as he spoke. Why would Sora think that Riku was only being with him because he felt sorry for him? Did Riku really make Sora feel that way? Then Sora's words seemed to crack through all of Riku's collected conscious. He didn't want to be with Riku anymore? Riku didn't even realize it, but as Sora continued, Riku began to grip his mug harder and harder. "... Umm, yeah... I guess if that is what you want... I mean you are probably right..." His voice was very empty sounding. He didn't want to say the words, but he knew that after everything Sora had went through, he couldn't tell him no. If this was what Sora wanted, then Riku would give that to him.

"Your bag, sure, sure, I got it." Riku almost whispered quickly, wanting out of that bathroom. You could hear the hurt, and Riku knew that he couldn't hide it. Maybe he wasn't ready to date Sora, but that didn't mean he didn't want to. The silver haired male then stepped out of the room and moved out back to the living room. As he looked down at Sora's bag, he realized that he had to release the mug he was clutching to pick it up. His eyes looked down at the mug as he felt tears building up. Why was everything so hard? why couldn't one thing just be okay? Riku without warning took the mug he was gripping and chunked it at a nearby wall in frustration.

"Ahh, I'm awake!" Roxas startled up in the bar seat from where he had dozed off. "What happen?" He asked turning around to see the smashed mug on the ground and the tea spilt and splashed on the wall. "Nothing, go back to sleep." Riku almost snapped at him as he picked up the bag and brought it to Sora. He didn't stay in the bathroom, he simply set the bag down inside next to the door and left. He made sure to click the door behind him as he walked back out to the living room and then out onto the balcony for a bit of privacy. The tired blonde just sat there staring... A little scared.

-----

Sora felt his heart break when he heard Riku speak. His eyes immediately teared up and his breath caught in his chest before he folded into himself. He leaned his weight on the wall and slid down it slowly until he was curled up into himself on the floor of the shower. He knew he made the right decision, but...Riku sounded so hurt by his words. He felt terrible. He got lost in his world of sorrow and hurt until he heard something break against the wall. He jumped, looking off towards the door. He began to get worried when he heard Roxas yell, then another raised voice, he knew he needed to check on them. He pulled himself back onto his feet and turned off the water, looking back to the door as he heard the bag hit the floor and the door click shut. Riku.

Sora felt the tears flow again as he slid open the door and stared at the bag sadly. Maybe... Did he make the wrong decision? He felt a pang in his chest as the thought crossed his mind that maybe he should have actually talked to Riku about this... He shouldn't have just assumed he knew exactly what he was thinking and feeling. Frowning deeply, Sora dried himself off quickly and pulled on some loose, comfortable clothes in order to get out there and figure out what was going on.

Upon opening the door to rush out into the living room, he about got mowed over by Zexion. "Sorry! Sorry, I heard something sm--Are you alright?" He asked, suddenly noticing Sora's red-rimmed eyes. Sora quickly waved him off and continued into the living room. He immediately looked to Roxas who was staring into space seemingly before he followed his gaze. Sora frowned deeply as he saw the mess. He silently walked into the kitchen and grabbed a dish rag before beginning to clean it all up. He wiped up the tea and then carefully picked up the broken pieces of mug, body trembling as he attempted to keep his tears at bay. It was dumb that he was crying. This was his fault in the first place.

A sharp pain in his index finger brought him back to reality, ripping a hiss from his lips. His hand shook as he watched the cut bleed, the crimson life sliding down his finger and hand as he stood and carried the pieces of porcelain and now-wet cloth into the kitchen. He dumped the pieces in the trash can, threw the rag on the counter, and finally moved to the sink to clean his cut. It was a little deeper than he thought it had been, but not too bad. He easily bandaged it and turned to move around the kitchen, making another mug of tea.

Zexion watched Sora move around silently. Something obviously happened, and it seemed that both Sora and Riku were hurt. He made to offer Sora some help, but he had a feeling he didn't want it. Instead he moved over to Roxas and kissed his temple. "Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked softly as he sat beside him, holding Roxas's hand in his own. His eyes traveled back to Sora as he walked into the kitchen, got his business done and then began making tea. The brunette was silent the whole time, and it worried Zexion. He was usually so full of life, and there wasn't a trace of a smile on his lips. After a few minutes, Sora turned around with a mug of tea in his hands and moved towards the two. Zexion saw obvious tear tracks on his cheeks, but didn't say anything. The brunette dipped down to kiss the top of Roxas's head then continued on his way, cautiously stepping out onto the balcony.

Sora walked over to Riku quietly and set the mug down on the flat top of the railing beside him. He decided to be quiet for a few seconds, looking out at the sky before speaking in a quiet, shaky voice. "I know I can't take back what I said permanently, but...can we both forget how just...stupid and thoughtless I am for a minute and...let me actually include you into the conversation? It was dumb of me to assume everything you would say and think and feel without even considering how you actually do feel, and I'm sorry. Can we please...please talk about it, because...I don't know why...but I honestly didn't expect...you to be as hurt as you obviously are. I assume too much. You already know my side, I guess... I don't know. You talk. I don't know how much longer I can pretend I'm not about to cry again if I keep talking." Sora looked down at the garden entrance as he waited for Riku to speak, obviously on the verge of an anxiety attack. Too much was happening in too short of time.

------

Roxas frowned as he watched Riku practically storm out onto the patio. What the heck was going on?? As Sora and Zexion came down the hallway, he only grew more confused. Had Riku and Sora gotten in a fight? Roxas sat there almost stupified as he watched his brother clean up the mess Riku made. "... You shouldn't clean that up, you should make Riku do it.... He is the one that broke it." Roxas mumbled as he stared the brunette moving about. As Zexion walked up to him and kissed him, he gave a small yawn. "I'm okay, I am still tired, but is just can't sleep anymore, I feel like I am losing my mind. " he told Zexion softly. His eyes were still fixed onto Sora.

"If you guys just got into a fight, you should give him some space if he is still mad...." Roxas spoke up as Sora just lifelessly moved about making Riku another cup of tea. What kind of jerk made a people who just got raped feel as terrible as Sora looked? Roxas's frown deepened as Sora just walked over and kissed his head. Why did everyone treat him like a small child? "Fine, whatever don't listen to me." Roxas stubbornly grumbled as he listened to Sora walk away and go out onto the balcony. Why didn't he want to talk to his own twin? He always felt like he could open up to him, but now this was all different, and Roxas didn't understand.

Riku had started to cry out on the balcony by himself, but as he heard the door open up, he quickly turned away so no one could see his tears. He felt so lost, but he didn't want help. He wanted to be alone. It was really frustrating that even in his own apartment he couldn't seem to be alone when he wanted to be left alone. As Sora spoke, Riku just felt more angry and cheated. How was he suppose to freely speak his mind knowing that Sora's heart wasn't in them being together?

"How could I honestly not be hurt? I want to be with you, Sora, you are funny and adorable, but you think that the only reason I want to be with you is out of pity... I am new at being with a guy, and yeah, sure it still scares me, but I didn't want to run away, can't you see that? I wanted to be with you regardless of my fears and doubts, and I am not going to lie, that took a lot for me to do, but obviously us being together isn't what you want or need right now. So why don't you just forget we were ever a couple and everything we had between us, while I try and drown the part me that ever gave a damn," Riku stated as tears poured down his face. It wasn't noticeable until he reached for the coffee mug, but he was so upset that he was shaking terribly.

He had almost pulled the cup to his lips before he stopped and threw that mug on the ground too. "You know what, I don't want to drink tea anymore," he harshly sobbed after the second crash died down. It was plain to see that not only was Riku hurt, but he was also still very angry. Sora probably would be hurt by Riku's response, yet if Sora really wanted to be just friends, he would have to just sit there and take it. This was the side of Riku only his close friends saw. He didn't open up to people like he had for Sora, and the only way back now was through the trenches of Riku's rage and sorrow. This wasn't going to be an easy fix, no matter what Sora did or said.

-----

Zexion rubbed Roxas's back comfortingly as Sora pretty much ignored him. "I don't know what happened, but if Riku and Sora both lost their cool, then maybe Sora needs to figure out how Riku works by himself. Especially if they want this relationship to work out for them. I don't think either of them have a firm grasp of the other yet, and if they did it would be amazing since they only met a few days ago," he told him calmly.

Sora's cheeks flooded with tears again, the pace of them quickening the more Riku spoke. He honestly didn't know what to do to fix this. He didn't think Riku would be as upset as he very obviously was, and it made Sora feel all the more terrible. He had ******** up not only their chances at a future relationship, but also possibly their friendship as well. What had he done? Things had been like this for Sora since Roxas had gone away. He had obviously gotten depressed, but tried not to show it. It had gotten better as months passed, but he still wasn't back to normal. Having your twin ripped out of your arms for protecting you will do that to you.

Sora, before Roxas left, had had no problem getting and keeping relationships whether it be friend or otherwise. He was super popular at school and had good grades, everything. Everyone loved him, and he in turn made everyone smile whenever he could. And then Roxas went away. Sora began to slowly distance himself from the world, losing a few friends here and there, his current relationship went south and ended painfully, and then he dropped out of school because he couldn't stand seeing everyone's pity for him. It drove him crazy to the point where he thought he belonged in the asylum instead of Roxas.

Now this was the same... He was driving everyone away unconsciously, and it hurt everyone around him. Including himself and the people he looked up to for years, gave him the willpower to carry on through the pain with their music. What kind of monster was he? He gazed down at his tightly-clasped hands and gave a shaky breath before pushing himself off of the railing. He scrubbed at his tears, trying to furiously wipe them away as more spilled over. "I'm sorry. I'll leave you alone," he told him softly and hurried back through the balcony doors, closing them quietly behind him.

He took a few seconds to breathe and calm himself down before he walked into the kitchen, headed straight to Roxas, and threw himself around him, hugging him tightly and burying his face in his neck. He didn't move for a while after that, he just stood there and hugged his twin tightly for a good few minutes before standing back up straight. "I'll be outside, okay? I need some fresh air...and to be alone for a while," he told him so he knew where he'd be. Then he walked into the bathroom, grabbed a jacket out of his bag, and left the apartment as he slipped it on.

Zexion frowned when he saw Sora's face as he walked back inside. He didn't like this at all. He was already so distressed from being attacked that Zexion thought this might be a little too much for him to handle. He looked like he was about to crumble into himself any second. He watched the brunette hug his twin then say he was going outside. "Be careful," he called after him softly, looking back at Roxas with worried eyes.

------

Roxas frowned waving the whole thing off. "I'm done with it, can you get my medication? I need to take them before start going anymore crazy." Roxas asked softly before getting up and going to the coffee pot. "Riku make me some coffee earlier, you want me to fix you a cup along with mine?" The blonde asked as he started to pour himself a cup of coffee into a mug. The warm black liquid seemed to hit his throat perfect. It was the little but of jolt he needed at the moment, since he was practically running on empty as far as energy. The black coffee also seemed to really help push away the jitters he was feeling since he hadn't had his meds yet. Of course the coffee wouldn't hold off his shakes forever, and soon he would start hearing the voices again. Roxas didn't always have the voices, but after losing Sora, it seemed like they were never gone. Without the medication, he really just couldn't even sit still, because they would start screaming so loud in his head he wanted to kill himself.

His first suicide attempt was really when he was first diagnosed as really having something substantial to be locked away for. Before than, his mom just had him committed to keep from "ruining" Sora like he was. He still didn't quite understand how protecting his twin was considered ruining him. Maybe he was always crazy though, and he just couldn't remember how he truly was. Sora loved him, but no one else ever really had the same affection that Sora did for him. Roxas seemed to drifted into his own little world looking down into the blackness that filled his cup, until hearing the balcony door open. His blue eyes looked up to is his twin, deeply hurt and there was literally nothing Roxas could do for him. Roxas felt so helpless in that moment. At what point had Roxas stopped being Sora's savior? Could Roxas even be that person anymore after becoming so broken in that asylum?

The blonde just stared at his twin hopeless wanting to fix his broken edges, but knowing he couldn't. Then something strange happened that Roxas didn't comprehend. Sora walked up to him and hugged him. The blonde didn't even fully understand what was happening at first like it was a dream. Slowly though, he set his mug down behind him and wrapped his arms around the other. "It's okay, Sora," the blonde twin whispered softly to his brother. He didn't say anything else, he just held him. It was any interesting interaction, because it was the first really interacting of Sora trusting him since he had gotten out of the hospital. Sora was relying on no one else, but his brother. It was the kind of interaction that Roxas had long thought was never going to happen again. It was also interesting, because as the two stood there in Riku's kitchen, you could really see how fragile they both were. Roxas was still severely underweight, and worn from being in the hospital; and Sora was battered and broken from the rape and the fight with Riku. Without really saying anything, they were both saying how much their lives were broken without the other.

Roxas had at first let Sora walk away and leave the apartment, but as he heard the apartment sink down into silence, he knew he could let his twin be alone right now. No matter how much Sora said he wanted to be alone, Roxas knew Sora, and Sora hated being alone. "I can't let him be alone right now, I just can't." Roxas mumbled to Zexion before chasing after the brunette.
"Sora, wait, I can't let you be alone, I just can't. You are my twin brother and I have already missed so much of you having to be locked away, please don't make me have to miss even one more second.... Please let me help you, protecting you was the only thing I was ever really go at and if I can't help you now, I know I won't be able to live with myself. " Roxas told him quickly as he hugged the other from behind. He didn't have the strength to accept rejection at this point. Roxas was literally all giving Sora all he had left in him.

Sora sniffled as he felt Roxas hug him and beg him to help him. Roxas always did know when Sora really wanted to be alone or when he just didn't want to be seen crying. He did need to think, yes, but he really didn't want to be alone. Not after all that had happened. Once Roxas was done speaking, Sora turned around and hugged his brother tightly. "Just...just walk with me. I need to think, but I...You're right. I don't need to be alone...especially alone after...everything happened," he told him softly. He pulled back from the hug and kept Roxas's hand in his own. "Let's go to the beach," he suggested softly. "Like we used to do when we snuck out of the house."

He was barefoot, but he didn't get a scratch on him walking down to the beach. The walk was silent, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. It was nice, actually, being with Roxas again and spending time with him. "We don't have to stay long. Thinking about it, you haven't taken your medicine, have you? You'll need to do that soon..," Sora said softly as his feet finally touched the sand. He let out a sigh as they made their way to their pier, walking down to the end of it and sitting on a bench to look out at the water. It wasn't nearly as cold as it had been the day before, and the sun was out, so Sora not having super warm clothes on wasn't that much of an issue.

"I...I broke up with Riku, I think... I mean, that's what I was meaning to do, but I had hoped he had been a little more active in the conversation. I didn't think of how I sounded, though, so it's not his fault... I didn't think it would hurt him this badly, I just...I don't think it's the right time for us to be together right now... I'm...well...I'm obviously an emotional wreck right now, and he seemed like he just needed some time to figure out what he wanted. I...I realized how stupid trying to believe I knew everything that was going through his head, and I wanted to go try and fix it, but... I should have listened to you and gave it time. He's so angry, Roxas. He's so angry, and it's all my fault. This happens every time I've tried a relationship since you left... I don't know... Maybe I'm just too broken to function properly in society..." Sora leaned over and laid his head on Roxas's shoulder. "I just ******** everything up. Sometimes I feel like I should have been the one to be sent to that asylum instead of you...or at least gone with you."

Zexion watched Roxas chase after Sora and sighed softly. He stood and began to sort out Roxas's medication for when he came back inside. Once that was done, he glanced out the glass balcony doors at Riku's turned back. He frowned and sat at the table silently for a few minutes, waiting to see if Roxas was coming back inside or was going to stay out with Sora for a while. It ended up being the latter, so he decided to call Axel to see how Demyx was holding up. He located his phone in the living room and then proceeded to call the redhead's phone, lounging back on the couch as he did so.

Axel groaned as he heard his phone going off. He and Demyx had really stayed in bed all day. They had had a lazy day, especially since Demyx had been so active after getting out of the hospital. They had decided to lay down and get a nap about an hour ago, and now his phone was going off. Drowsily, he reached over the blond in his arms and grabbed his phone, answering without even looking at the caller ID. "What?" He asked gruffly, snuggling up more to Demyx.

Zexion rolled his eyes at the sound of Axel's voice. "Get up, lazy asses. We're having some domestic issues over here... Sora and Riku are fighting big time. Not physically, but Riku's smashed one mug of tea already, and I'm pretty sure I heard another one break outside. Sora was crying, Riku's bitchy, and Roxas went outside to be with Sora. Not really sure if this is gonna get fixed...or how it would be. Riku's being difficult. And he broke my favorite mug..."

Axel frowned deeply when he heard what was going on. "Well, that's not good. Hey, Dem? Feel like goin' over to Riku's and seeing if any of this current drama can be smoothed over? He and Sora are having a little spat. Riku's breaking things," he explained briefly, nuzzling into the blond's neck and holding onto him tightly.

------

Roxas shrugged his shoulders as he walked with Sora. "No, no, I'm good, we can take as long as you want Sora. I don't need my medication right now, I feel fine." Roxas informed him. He was lying of course, but he could lie to Sora before he left. Going to the mental hospital only made him an even better liar. Now he could lie with the best of any psychopath and never give any tells. He could feel the voices coming back, because he could feel a headache coming on. Ever since he began this medication, he could always tell his medication was wearing off because the voices made him feel like his head was splitting open. He could hold out a bit longer for his brother, though even if he felt like dying.

As Sora openly confessed to him what happen, Roxas frowned at his confession. "Oh Sora, don't say something like that. You don't belong in an asylum, you belong around people that are going to show you the love you deserve. I know I probably shielded you too much before I got locked up, but I really hope my decisions don't permanently ruin you....That is why you have to go back and fix this. You purposefully pushed Riku away, but you and I both know this isn't the end of the two of you. Look, I know you are going to try and find an excuse not to, but Riku is a great guy for you, and yeah you messed up and it isn't going to be easy, but you need to go back in there and at least fix your friendship." Roxas told him softly giving Sora his honest opinion. The blonde may be crazy, but he wasn't stupid. Riku made Sora happy, and not just a little, he made Sora happier than Roxas had seen in a long, long time.

"And hey, I wouldn't give up on your relationship either. People don't have the kind of spark you and Riku had, and just let it go forever. Riku will come around, you might just have to be his friend for a while he comes around. You think you can do that for the guy of your dream?" Roxas asked with a slight smile at his brother. He liked being able to talk with his twin like this again. He could still remember them talking about boys before he left. Sora used to be so social that Roxas was always giving him advice. It made Roxas feel like they really were going to get back to the way they were before.

Demyx groaned a little as he rolled over to face the redhead. "Hmmmm, sure, I am pretty sure that I am going to grow roots if I sleep anymore anyways, I need to move around, before I get stir crazy." Demyx told him in a soft, still half-asleep voice. He did want to get up, but at the same time, he had been immobile for so long, he was just slowed down at this point. The blonde stood up off the couch and headed for the back room. "I am going to go get change, then we leave okay?" Demyx told him before disappearing down the hallway. He didn't really have many clothes over here yet, but he still had one more change of clothes over here luckily.

-----

Sora looked up at his twin as he spoke. He missed him so much. He had missed being able to just sit and talk to his brother about anything and everything and get advice. He nodded slightly every few seconds as the blond spoke, taking it all in. When asked if Sora could wait for Riku to be ready, the brunette gave him a smile. "Of course I can. I would wait...forever for Riku to be ready... Unless he told me he didn't want me, I would do anything that would allow me to eventually be with him," he told Roxas, leaning over and kissing his cheek gently.

The brunette frowned slightly once again. "Roxas...you know how...how we kiss and stuff? I...I don't think we can do that anymore. I mean...if I want to be with Riku...I feel like I should save that stuff only for him, you know? Please don't be mad," he pleaded with him, eyes tearing up a bit. He loved his brother, but he felt like things like that should be with that special someone. "I'm not trying to push you away, if that's what you're thinking. I just...think it would be best for us to not...be intimate like that as much. I just...really don't want you to be upset," he told him softly, voice shaking slightly.

Axel chuckled at Demyx's answer and sat up on the couch, running his fingers through his hair. "Yeah, we'll be over in a few, alright? Hang tight until then. Maybe I can talk to Riku. I generally have some good luck talking to him when he's like this," he said then hung up and stood, pulling the shirt that he had draped across the back of the couch on and then his shoes. He grabbed his keys and slid his jacket on then. "Come on, Dem. Zex is waiting on us," he called back to him as he jingled his keys. He paused for a moment. "You need any help, Baby?" He called again, deciding to walk back there and make sure Demyx was alright.

------

Roxas smiled at Sora's new found excitement to fix things with Riku, as least one of the two was ready to make the commitment to make things work. His face scrunched up as Sora kissed him. He didn't know why, but it didn't feel quite right anymore after spending so much Zexion. It was almost like he was cheating on him. "Ummmm, I think I know what you mean. I kind of feel like I am betraying Zexion when I kiss you," He mumbled a little as he leaned onto Sora. "But you are still my twin, so I feel hugging and cuddling are acceptable, and ain't no man going to tell me I can't do that." The blonde stated putting on a black girl for the last part. He didn't learn a whole lot of useful things while in the asylum, but he did get oddly good at different voices because he talked to himself.

"Plus, even if we did do stuff, i don't think it would produce anything meaningful. I have been having some problems connecting since I came out... I don't know i think I am still having a hard time adjusting to being out..."Roxas confessed. He wanted to share his problems with his twin, but at the same time, he didn't want to share too much and worry him. "I mean it is normal to have a hard time to adjusting to a new environment, right?" Roxas asked as an after thought. He wanted to be sure that he wasn't more messed up than he thought.

Demyx popped up from the back room in some shorts and a tank top. "Ha, look I found one of my old beach bum outfits! Oh, oh, let me borrow your flip flop, I am going Retro-Demyx today!" He cheered happily, practically prancing pass the other. Demyx had always had a laid back style, but all throughout high school, he really just looked like a homeless wash-up most of the time with his always beach themed clothes. Now his style had developed into more of a punk look seeing as he had spent so much time in the band and with Riku and Axel. Of course, he never got rid of the mullet style he developed on his beach trash days. It had just become his signature now.

"Ready!"Demyx cheered at the door with his now complete outfit since he high jacked Axel's flip flops. It was really nice having friends with practically the same shoe size.

----

Sora laughed a little as Roxas spoke in his ghetto voice. He hugged him and nuzzled into his neck as he listened to him open up a little about his own troubles. "It is normal to have issues adjusting, but...it really depends on what kind of issues you're having, Roxas. I mean...to honestly judge that, I'd have to know the issues you're having, but I know you probably don't want to open up that much. At least not yet... Give it a month or so, and then maybe think about telling someone. Roxas, you may have to go to an actual therapist, at least for tips on how to adjust better," he told him truthfully. "Maybe it would help you to get some real diagnosis, too."

"Why don't we start heading back? I don't need to run from this any longer, and you need to take your medicine," he said as he pulled back from the hug and stood from the bench, hand still clasped with his twin. "I can tell you're getting uncomfortable." He gave him a small smile. "We need to come here more often, though. After you left, I would come here when Mom got mad at me for something stupid. I would sit here and wish they hadn't sent you away so you could be here with me," he told him softly as they began to walk back down the pier. "I missed you so much," he told him, a wave of emotion hitting him as it finally clicked in his head that Roxas was back... After two years, he was back, and Sora had him again. He squeezed the blond's hand as he teared up with happiness.

Axel laughed at Demyx's outfit. "Babe, you do know it's cold outside, right? While I think you're absolutely adorable, I also think you're going to get cold and complain," he told him and grabbed one of his larger jackets off of the hook by his door. He slid it onto Demyx and hugged him from behind, leaning in to kiss Demyx's neck. "Mm... Okay, let's see if I can't go calm Riku down," the redhead told him with a smile. He made a pit-stop in the kitchen and grabbed a handful of the Slim Jims Demyx had bought him before heading out the door with his blond

------

Roxas smiled weakly at Sora's word. They were comforting, even if in just a small way. Sora was right, he was rushing all this. He hadn't been home that long at all, and he was already making assumptions on the fact that he wouldn't make it. He needed to just step back and let the dust settle. He was still having the nightmares and the flashbacks, it was obvious that he wasn't anywhere near done healing. He had Sora to help him get through it as well. Back in the asylum, he didn't have this kind of support. If anything, he was better off now than he was before he went in, because he didn't have to hide his hurt from Sora. Sora and Roxas had gotten out of that house, they were finally free. It took two long years, but they were both free.

"Sora, Sora, I told you, we don't need to go back because of me," Roxas told him as he stood up with him. "I am not, look if we must go back so soon, can we at least walk slowly? I don't want to go back yet, I like spending this time with you."Roxas compromised quickly as he pulled at Sora's hand so that he would slow down. "Awww, Sora, i missed you, too." The blonde mumbled with a bigger smile as he bumped his brother playful as they strolled down the pier together.

"Ha, Demyx laughs in the face of cold," the blonde said excitedly as he did a superhero pose. "Ugh, what? Axellllll you are ruining my outfit, it looks dumb with a coat!" He whined as he was hugged and then pushed out of the door. "Fine, fine, but I am taking it off as soon as we get inside." He told him as they went down stairs and climbed into Axel's car. The drive over to Riku's apartment really did take no time at all, and Demyx was upstair at the door of the silver haired keyboardist in seconds after parking. "Zexion we have come to save the day!" He cheered as he threw the jacket off and the door open. The blonde then glanced around the apartment for a moment spotting Riku on the balcony. "Ah ha! Riku! We have come to cheer you up!" He yelled as he ran over to the door and pulled open the glass door.

"Riku!" He exclaimed as he threw his arms around him. "What the- Demyx get the hell off of me! Ugh, you are like some weird octopus that just latches on and doesn't let go!" The silver haired male yelled shoving at the blonde to get him off of him. "I will never let go! Viva da la resistuants!" The blonde yelled back as Riku stood up and dragged the other inside. "Demyx, you don't even know what the heck you are saying now get off me, " he yelled, almost screaming at the top of his lungs now, before managing to flip the blonde off and onto the carpet. "You psychopath, get out of my apartment, and you, you get out too, I know you are the freaking one that told him to come over, I'm not stupid!" Riku snapped at the blonde and then at Zexion, who was sitting "innocently" at the bar.

-----

Sora smiled at his twin and slowed down his steps. "Yeah. I like spending time with you, too," he told him happily. "I think we need to spend time together, just me and you, at least one day a week. We need to catch up. Make up for those two years without each other," he told him, strolling through the sand leisurely as he spent time with his counterpart. "We can go do all the things we always wanted to before we got out of that house, one at a time. Go to that arcade down the road, eat a whole one of those massive pizzas, go swimming in the lake, go camping! We can go camping now!" He said excitedly, jumping a little. "Ooh, you know what would be fun? If after everyone's all healed, me and you and Zexion and Riku and everyone go play some soccer! I haven't played in so long!"

Axel rolled his eyes as Demyx practically flew up the stairs to Riku's apartment. He was gonna hurt himself. More. "Well, there goes talking him out of isolation calmly," he mumbled to himself as he shut the car door before making his way upstairs and through the door, closing it as Demyx failed to. As soon as he saw Riku drag Demyx through the balcony door, he raised an eyebrow. As soon as Riku was done yelling, Axel gave another sigh.

"Riku, calm down. Let's sit down, alright?" He told him, almost dragging the silverette over to the couch and shoving him down onto it. "Okay, look. You know you're bitchy until you get out what's going on to us, so open up. Obviously you and Sora are fighting. Obviously you're very upset about it, considering you've broken two mugs, one of which is Zexion's favorite." Axel frowned deeply at Riku. "Come on, buddy. Stop being pissed off and talk to us. We might be able to help."

------

Roxas laughed a little at Sora's enthusiasm. "Sure, sure, we can do all of those things and more. I mean we have so much time now, since we are eighteen today, or have you forgot? Today is our birthday." Roxas told his brother as he looked over at the brunette seeing the surprise on his face. Roxas has almost forgot too with all the commotion, but it was hard to forget the day you permanently engrained into your brain as the day you were suppose to get out of the hospital at. It was such a big day, he use to scratch the date into everything he physically could. He didn't want to ever forget about the day he was going to be reunited with Sora. Even now, today was special despite getting out a week or so early. "Oh soccer, dang, I haven't even thought about playing in so long." Roxas said thinking back. Sora and him use to play all the time, but Roxas had to quit ultimately because he didn't want the coach or their teammates to see the bruises.

Roxas didn't get abused all the time, but the blonde couldn't risk getting social services called on them. He just knew that if they came, Sora and him would get separated. He wasn't going to do that. He couldn't lose Sora like that.... So he quit soccer. Sora played for a few more years, but Sora told him in a letter that he had to quit after Roxas left, because he couldn't play without thinking about him. It made Roxas sad to think that he was the reason Sora quit, but he understood that it was difficult for them to be apart like they were. He had to understand that.

Riku putted and shoved at Axel as he was dragged over to the couch. "Look, all of you are complete douche bags. I just want to be left alone. I don't want to talk, I don't need help, I don't even need Sora. Obviously I was seriously mistaken to think I ever did. Now back off and leave me the freak alone," Riku stated as he got up by fighting the redhead and winning. The silverette moved into the kitchen as he glared at Zexion. "And you don't get to have a favorite mug in my f-ent. They are all mine, and I am fed up with people being in my apartment. All this stuff is minnnnne, not yours and I swear if you guys don't get out, I'm calling the police!" Riku yelled, obviously Riku was just about at his breaking point... Something that Demyx was oblivious to since he got up off the floor and quickly pick-pocketed Riku's phone off of him.

"Ha, call 911 without your phone, stupid." Demyx said sticking his tongue out as he started to run away as Riku growled and started to chase him down. "Ahhhhhhh, Axel! He is after me!!!! Ahhhh!" He screamed as he ran down the hall, over Riku's bed, then back down the hall before they began to bounce around the living room. "I swear on my life, that if I caught you, I'll kill you!" Riku yelled as Demyx continued to scream frantically like a little girl.

------

Sora blinked dumbly at Roxas when he said it was their birthday. "Holy s**t. We're eighteen!" He said excitedly, hugging Roxas tightly. "What am I saying? Of course it's our birthday. Our birthdays are always terrible," he said with a slight laugh. "I think today kind of tops all other birthdays, though. God, this week has just been...just been terrible. I'm so glad you're back, though. You've made this week better than it could have turned out being."

Axel frowned when Riku threatened to call the cops. He really was worked up over Sora. The brunette honestly probably wasn't in a good place to be calling decisions about relationships after being attacked. He had to laugh, however, when Demyx began to be chased around the house by a clearly pissed off Riku. The two started heading his way, and Axel sighed as his injured boyfriend, shrieking like a girl, flew past him. He easily reached his arm out and caught the furious silvernette in his arms, picking him up and carrying him away from his blond. "Demyx really shouldn't be running around right now, and nor should you. Broken arm and all," he told him in an exasperated voice.

Hearing a knock at the door, Axel groaned. "Why right now? Zex, could you get that? Riku's not in the right state right now to deal with people," Axel called to him. Zexion shrugged a little and stood from the bar, hurrying over to the door. He became confused when he opened it to see two police officers. "Can I help you, officers?" He asked cautiously. The officers raised their eyebrows curiously at the struggle happening inside. "Oh, don't worry about them. Riku's just pissed off because he's going through a fight with his...boyfriend...thing," Zexion explained, waving it off. The officers cleared their throats before the blond began talking. "We're looking for a boy named Sora. Would he happen to be here?" Zexion frowned, and the room behind him grew quiet. "No, he's not. Can I ask why you're looking for him?" "We need to speak to him about his attacker the other night." At the mention of Sora's rape, the mood turned a little sullen.

"Holy s**t. Cloud, is that you?" Axel asked from behind Zexion, still holding onto Riku, just not as tight. Cloud had been his brother's best friend from the day they met until the day he died. Axel hadn't seen him since he went into police academy. Zexion, seeing that Axel knew the officer, invited them inside to wait for Sora to get back. "Sora and his brother went out for a walk to get some fresh air. They should be back soon," he told them.

------

Roxas laughed at his brother as they walked. They weren't far from the apartment, so they would back there any moment now. "Well, I guess we can say at least this walk was a good thing, right? It is kind of like getting each other for our birthday," Roxas told his twin happily. The blonde stopped in his tracks though seeing a police car pulling into Riku's apartment complex. "Sora, sora, sora, wait, stop we can't go back to the apartment!" He stated quickly in a loud whisper as he pulled on Sora's hand. At the confused look, Roxas pull the brown haired twin over to the side of the sidewalk. "Sora, what if those cops are looking for us, what if mom filled a missing persons report on us, we are so screwed, they know we have been living at Riku's apartment, we aren't safe there anymore." He explained to Sora as he glanced around. His paranoia as kicking in because he hadn't taken his medication.

Riku started to yell angrily as Axel grabbed him. He started flailing his arms and legs around as he huffed and puffed about strangling all three of them. He was completely pissed off to the point that he was pretty sure, he was moments away from exploding on them. As there was a knock on the door, Riku kicked around harder. "Whoever it is, tell them to shove it, I don't want anymore people in my apartment!" Riku screamed as he struggled against the redhead. He wasn't budging Axel's hold though since he had almost worn himself out at this point fighting with Axel and Demyx.

As the people at the door turned out to be police officer, Riku seemed to calm down a little, but was still pushing against the redhead's arm to express his want to be let go. As they continued to talk, the silver haired male seemed to completely lose all strength and hung in Axel's arms. "Axel, put me down..." He stated softly now. He had lost all his anger thinking about his inability to save Sora from that attack, and all he was left with was his sorrow. "I'm going to lay down in my room," he mumbled as the redhead released him. "Please, just let me be, please I know that none of you like to listen, but please leave me alone." Riku told his friends as he moved down the hallway and shut the door behind him. He wanted to be able to trust his friends to leave him alone, but he locked the door anyway. He just couldn't take anymore. As he locked door behind him, he felt tears building up in the corner of his eyes. He didn't deserve to have Sora anyway...

Cloud came around the door seeing the redhead and he could have swore he saw a ghost. After Reno died, the blonde stopped really talking to everyone from Reno's family except Axel. Then he left for the police academy, and stopped talked to even him. Cloud had without trying, closed that chapter of his life, but there Axel was... It was just crazy, because Axel just looked so much like him. "Oh hey man, Axel dang man, you look great, how have you been? I mean seriously how long has it been? Four, maybe five years?" The blonde asked as he walked into the apartment before he stopped watching the silver male Axel was holding, be release and then walk away down the hall.

----

Sora stumbled a little as Roxas began freaking out about a cop car and pulled him to the side. He seemed way too worried about this, especially considering they didn't even know if the police were at Riku's apartment. "Roxas... Roxas, calm down, okay? Maybe they're not even at Riku's place. And if they are, they can't take us away. We're eighteen now. They can't take us away from there. Even so, we're going to move into the apartment beside his soon enough. And they might not even be there to try and take us away. Maybe someone tried to talk to Riku and he lashed out and killed them and they're here to lock him up," Sora told him, trying to get him to lighten up a little with a smile.

"Come on. It'll be okay, Roxas. Let's go up and see what's going on, and see if Riku's moved from the balcony," he urged, holding his hand tightly, feeling his heart clench again as he thought about how much he hurt Riku.

Zexion frowned as he watched Riku leave the room and disappear into his bedroom. This was going to be a long week. Especially if Riku was going to continue to be difficult and a pain in all of their asses. And now there were police officers there...one of whom Axel apparently knew pretty well.

"Uh, yeah, quite a few years," he said, still a little in shock of seeing his twin's best friend from forever ago. "God, it's just been forever, man... How...how are you? How have you been?" asked Axel, expression appearing a bit stressed from memories of is brother. "I mean, obviously you made it through the academy and became an actual officer while I'm just havin fun partying and playin music and dealing with all this drama," he said with a little chuckle.

Roxas frantically advised Sora against going back to Riku's apartment as he was subsuqencially dragged back to it. As they reached the stairs right before the silver haired male's place, Roxas began to lose even more if his marbles. "No, no, no, I can't go back, can't go back. I won't go back," the blonde started to stutter out as he pulled against Sora's hand. His blue eyes now had a wild look about them as he didn't seem to recognize who Sora was. The blonde began to shake as he refused to go back up the stairs. To the point where he just curled up at the bottom of them, knowing that Sora couldn't put him up them. Roxas hadn't said anything, but the voices had been filling his head practically the entire time they were walking back, and his head feel like he needed to rip it open to relief the pressure. He was just cracking at his seams now, unable to hold it together even for his twin.

"Haha, yeah, I have been great, I mean I'm an officer now, special victim's unit, this is my partner, Leon. My life is basically just me and him doing cases now, but you are playing music, like what? Like a band?" He asked as he walked over and hugged the redhead. Yeah, it had been numerous years, but Axel would always be the twin of Reno, so they would always have that bond between them.

Demyx smiled at the blonde officer. "So um, Axel are you going to introduce us?" Demyx asked cautiously. He could tell that Cloud must have been an old friend, and if he was an older friend than them, it meant he knew about Axel's twin, Reno. A ground that Demyx knew was practically littered with mines for Axel since he blamed himself for his twin's death for the longest time.

-------

Sora could cry as he watched his twin have a meltdown at the foot of the stairs. "Roxas, it's okay," he told him, bending down and rubbing his back. "It's okay. How about I go up and see what's going on, then, hmm? I'll be right back, alright? I promise," he told him softly. "Please just stay right here. They're not going to take us away from each other again. I just need you to wait for me to get back in just a few minutes, alright?" He kissed the top of his head and gave him a smile before making his way back up the stairs.

Axel smiled at Cloud. He seemed happy with how his life was turning out. "Nice to meet you, Leon," he said with a nod the brunette's direction. When Cloud hugged him, he hugged him back just as tightly. He had missed talking to the blond. He was the last thing he had that connected him to Reno.

As soon as he pulled back from the hug, he looked over at Demyx. "Yeah, I'm in a band. It's called Nobodies Care. Not sure if you've heard of us. We've gotten kind of big recently; just released a new album the other day. I'm bassist and singer, Riku, the silver-haired angry one that just went back to his room to sulk, is our keyboardist, Zexion over there's our personal manager and drummer, and this thing right here is Demyx," he introduced, sliding a hand around the blond's shoulders and pulling him close, "he's guitarist and backup singer. He's, uh, also my boyfriend," he finished, sliding his hand to be around his waist instead. He wasn't really sure how Cloud would react to that.

Sora decided that would be the time to walk through the door cautiously, glancing back down to make sure Roxas was still there. He felt all the eyes in the room on him, and he began to feel nervous. His attention went directly to the two strangers in the room dressed in suits. "Uh, what's going on here?" he asked curiously. "Are you Sora?" Asked the tall brunette from the couch. "Who's asking?" He asked cautiously, body in a completely guarded stance, door still in his hand.

"Sora, it's alright," came Zexion's voice. "They're from the Special Victims Unit. They're here about your attacker," he told him, walking over to him, Roxas's medicine still clutched in his hand. "Where's Roxas? Didn't he go with you?" He asked worriedly. "Oh, um...he kind of freaked out and thought police were here to take him away. I...I'll be right back. Zexion, can you come with me to tell him it's okay?" He asked softly. When Zexion nodded, Sora grasped his hand and pulled him out of the apartment and down the stairs to the blond. "Roxas. Roxas, it's okay, see? They're just here about the, uh, the attack the other night. Zexion has your medicine. He's gonna bring you upstairs while I go back up, okay?" He assured his twin, kissing his forehead again then starting up the stairs, gaining a sinking feeling in his stomach the closer he got.

Zexion helped Roxas stand and gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek. "Come on, Roxas. Let's get back upstairs. Axel even knows one of the officers. Nothing bad's going to happen to you, okay?" He told him gently. "Calm down. I've got your medicine right here," he said, showing him the pills. "Let's go inside so we can get you some water."

Sora opened the door again, leaving it open for Zexion and Roxas to come inside. He sat down in the recliner and looked between the two officers. "Well? What did you need to know? Or did you just have news?" He asked softly. Leon glanced around the room. "I think it would be best if we some to you alone," suggested the brunette. Sora immediately shook his head. "No. They all know about it, so they can all be in on anything that's said about it," he said, choking up a bit at the end when he realized Riku wouldn't be there to hear any news they brought. He sucked it up, though. It was his own fault Riku didn't want to be around him, anyway.

The brunette man nodded slightly then began speaking. "Well, the rape kit you consented to turned up a DNA match, which is a very good thing and makes our job of finding this man much easier. However, we believe he's had another victim, which turned up at the hospital last night." At hearing what the guy had to say, Sora's stomach dropped out of him. Someone else had gotten attacked by the same man as he did. He zoned out as the man kept speaking. Now he knew what it was like to be raped, and he knows that someone else had to go through that same experience. Why did people have to be so cruel? He didn't understand how someone could hurt people like that and still sleep at night.

Axel frowned as Sora obviously zoned out. This was too much for the poor kid, but there was nothing they could do about it except hope the officers could find the guy and lock him up. Just as Axel was about to speak up for Sora's obvious lack of comprehension, the small brunette spoke up.

"Was it a boy or girl?" He asked quietly, eyes still slightly vacant. Leon frowned at the boys expression. "A nineteen-year-old boy," he told him, causing Sora to feel his chest tighten even more. "So...so that's what he likes, then?" asked the teen softly. "That's what that sick ******** likes?" He snarled suddenly, voice raising as tears slipped down his cheeks. His fists were gripping onto the arms of the recliner before he relaxed again. "Can...can I talk to him?" He asked, looking between the two officers. The men exchanged looks briefly then Leon looked back at Sora. "We'll have to ask him and see if he's willing to talk to you before we tell you that you can, alright? But we'll come back and let you know what he says," he told him, causing Sora to nod. "This is the suspect whose DNA we matched," he continued, pulling a photo out of the file he had in his hand. Sora reached out with a shaky hand and took the photo before looking at it. He almost dropped it as soon as he took a full look at it.

At first glance, he looked like an older, flamboyant Riku. Upon closer inspection, he saw that his face was thinner, his hair had a little more body--whether it be with product or natural--and his eyes... Sora began trembling as he looked at those eyes. That's all he could see that night was those eyes. They haunted his thoughts and any dreams he had had since then. Now thinking about it, he had seen the silver hair that night. The man had only worn a bandanna over his face when he attacked. Maybe that subconsciously lead him to want to break up with Riku as well as his other reasons. "It's all your fault," he whispered, voice turning a little angry. "What's this b*****d's name?" He almost demanded, face and voice hardened, blue eyes cold and guarded and angry.

------

Roxas curled into a ball defensively as Sora tried to talk to him. He couldn't hear barely anything past the voices. "I won't go back, I won't go back, I want my Sora... I want my brother," the blonde cried softly to himself as he rocked back and forth. There was about a thousand voices in his head screaming at him, they were all telling him that they were going to lock him back up in that place. He was going back to the place of defilement and darkness, and this time, he wasn't going to get out ever. He was never going to get to see Sora ever again if he was taken now. He just knew it, he needed to escape, he needed to run.

As he felt his body be lifted up, he looked at the figure in front of him. The person looked familiar and safe, if but for a moment, but then he changed shape. Suddenly he was one of the men from the hospital, but not just any man... He was the one that would "visit" Roxas in the night... Roxas's first reaction to seeing the other was to grow silent as he shrink back in terror, but as Zexion kissed him and spoke lies, Roxas began to freak out as the slate haired male tried to take him upstairs.. "No, no, no, help! Save me, he's got me, he is going to take me back, Sora! Sora, Sora, please come back, I want Sora, please no, no I don't want to go back, please just leave me alone, I don't want you, I want my twin!" He cried out fighting with every ounce of strength he had left to get away from the person he thought was going to take him back to that dark, dark place. If Roxas was at his normal weight, he probably would have easily escaped, but he wasn't, he was severely underweight and fragile. So as he fought, all he was succeeding in doing, was slowing Zexion's climb up the stairs. He couldn't escape, and he seemed to get more and more panicked as they got closer to Riku's apartment.

Demyx smiled a little as Axel introduced the rest of them. He was particularly happy when Axel introduced him to Cloud as his boyfriend. The blonde officer seemed to be shocked at first, but then he just laughed, glancing at the two. "Ha, well I guess you and Reno really were one and the same, I mean, you still look so much like him, and now, I mean, it is just crazy, how things work out," Cloud told him with a chuckle as he went to tell Axel something, but stopped as the brunette burst into the apartment. It was the rape victim, so he had to put away his personal side for now, and catch up with Axel later. Cloud waited patiently for his chance to talk as he just let Leon explain what was going on with the investigation. He could tell that Sora really seemed to be bothered by all of this information.

"Well the name we have on file is Hanuro Kuuji, but we are starting to have serious doubts about that being his real name, because when we went to talk to his employer to see if we could track him down that way, he had apparently up and quit about a week ago without any warning. All the records they had him were all falsified as well. In fact, the only thing that seems to be real about this guy is his DNA, nothing else seems to match any other records we have. We are currently looking deeper into our records to see if his guy's DNA matches someone else's DNA, so we can maybe get his real identity. I know that this might be a little hard to think about, but can you think of anyone that is even close to this person that has maybe been following you around, or staring at you lately? I ask, because our profiler thinks this kind of attack is a little too precise, like this guy as even doing this for a long time and getting away with it. You have never been attack before now right?" Cloud asked the brunette carefully and in a soft tone.

------

Sora listened closely to what Cloud was saying to him, and then he stopped to think about who he was around lately. It had just been he, the band, and Roxas. When he opened his mouth to tell him, he heard Roxas screaming for him. He shot up out of his chair and hauled a** over to the door, seeing Roxas thrashing around in a struggling Zexion's arms. "Roxas! Roxas, it's okay! I'm here! Look, it's Sora," he told him frantically, taking him from Zexion's arms and hugging him. "Come on, Roxas. You're not going back there. You're never going back there again. I promise," Sora whispered to him as he held him in his arms. "They won't take you away from me again. I swear."

He held him in his arms for a few minutes until he got calmed down a little then he said, "Come on. Let's get you inside, alright? You can take your medicine and feel better, and then I'll introduce you to my new friends. They're here to help figure out who hurt me," he informed him as he began hauling the tired out blond up the rest of the stairs. "And you can sit down in the chair with me, is that okay? The big recliner Riku has in there can fit both of us," he bargained, kissing the top of his head.

He managed to get Roxas inside and into the kitchen. With a sullen-looking Zexion's help he got him a glass of water and managed to get his medicine down. Sora rubbed his twins back soothingly, all of his focus on the blond right now. Everyone else could wait.

Leon's eyebrows shot up at the sound of someone screaming Sora's name. He stood to go see what was going on as soon as Sora shot out the door, but he stopped when Axel held his hand out. "It's best to just let him handle it, I think. It's his twin; he just got out of a psyche ward a week ago, and he might not have taken his medicine yet today," he explained to them, making Leon nod slightly and sit back down cautiously. His eyes shot open wide when he saw the blond bundle in Sora's arms. He looked over at Cloud with a meaningful expression. This kid looked exactly like the other victim, and the last place the perp worked was at a rehabilitation center.

As Sora brought him over to sit down in the chair with him, the brunette picked the photo of the suspect up once again, and Leon got a closer look at the blond. Yes, he looked almost identical to the second victim, and it was a bit eerie. "Your name is Roxas, correct?" He asked softly, leaning forward slightly on the couch. "Could you look at this picture and tell me if you recognize this man?" He asked, gesturing to the photo in Sora's hand. Sora looked up at Leon with slight confusion, handing the photo over to Roxas. "Why would he recognize him?" He asked curiously. "Kuuji's place of employment was a rehabilitation center. He may have worked at the same one," he explained, causing Sora to frown.

------

Roxas seemed to snap out of his momentarily psychosis hearing Sora yelling to him. "Sora? Sora! Don't leave, please don't leave me again," Roxas whispered as he latched onto the brunette and closed his eyes tightly as he hugged the other. He didn't want that man to take him away, he didn't want to ever leave Sora again. In Sora's arms, Roxas calmed down enough to understand where he was at again, but the voices were still really loud. He needed to take his medication, not only his antipsychotics, but his panic attack medication, too. He was too stressed out, he was going to start hyperventilating and panicking again. His whole body felt like a twig in a tornado, he was shaking so bad. He needed his medication bad.

Roxas followed Sora cautiously back into the apartment and almost ghosted him like a shadow. The entire time he had a death grip on Sora's hand to keep from being separated from him. He was so shooken up that he didn't recognize anyone in the room, yet. He only recognized Sora at the moment, and it was a miracle that he even could do that at the moment. The blonde took the glass of water and his medication, but he was too far gone to even see what he was taken. Hopefully Zexion or Sora knew what they were giving him. Of course, in his state just drinking the water was enough to calm him down a little.

Having gotten his medication, the blonde moved to the recliner with Sora and hid almost behind the brunette as he watched the strangers carefully. His medication was fast-acting, but it wasn't instant. It took a few minutes to kick in, so Roxas as still hearing the voices and paranoid at the moment. His psychosis had pretty much ended though, so he could tell who was Axel, Zexion, and Demyx. The officers still terrified him, but he had Sora right now, so he was okay. Roxas had been hiding in Sora's shirt when the officer started to talk to him, and he almost didn't want to look up when he said his name. What if they started asking questions about their parents? Roxas couldn't go back to that house either, it would be almost as bad as going back to the hospital.

The blonde glanced up at the brown haired officer, before glancing over at the picture in Sora's hand. The blonde immediately felt his lungs clench up, before he let out a blood-curdling screech. Honestly it was so sharp, it probably could brought all the glass that Riku hadn't already broke. The blonde was out of the chair within seconds scrambling back towards the hallway to get away from the picture. Normally the guy only came in the night when Roxas would be so knocked out to even know he had been there until the morning, but seeing him there shook his entire being. This was the guy that haunted Roxas all the way down to his soul, he couldn't take even the sight of his picture. He felt like he couldn't get any air as if the man had literally seized a hold of his lungs through the picture. He started to gasp as he felt tears spilling from his eyes from the pain of not being able to breathe. "No-,... I-I can't... I can't b-breathe," he sobbed as he backed into a wall and grabbed his throat. He had never had a panic attack this bad. It felt his whole body just stopped working.

Riku, hearing the scream, startled up from the door. He had vaguely been listening to the entire conversation from behind the door, but as soon as Roxas screamed, Riku was sure that someone must have just instantly exploded. The scream made every part of his body cry with pain for having to hear it. He quickly unlocked the door as he wiped his face dry before moving out into hallway. As he ran out and saw Roxas out of his mind terrified, he moved down farther looking for Sora. If Roxas was that shaken, Sora must have been hurt. As he got to the end of the hall, the blonde glanced up at him. In his shocked state, Riku might have well been his attacker. The blonde's eyes rolled back in his head as he got woozy and passed out. He had taken just way too much today.

"What the hell is going on?" Riku asked completely lost as he watched the blonde pass out.

-----

Sora cursed as Roxas began to freak out, and Zexion sprinted to the kitchen to get his panic attack medicine. Sora hurried after Roxas, getting really worried as he began gasping. "Zexion, we need his medicine!" He called, watching him from a little afar. "Working on it!" He called back, managing to get the correct dosage out and hurrying to Roxas. By the time he got there, though, Roxas had passed out and Sora had him in his arms. And Riku was standing at the end of the hall confused as hell.

Sora spoke up to Riku's question first quietly. "We just confirmed my attacker. Because he was the one attacking Roxas every night in the asylum... Seeing you must have been too much for him...based on appearance, you and the guy could be brothers. Or father and son," he told him, looking up at him timidly at the end of his statement. "He's had a long day. He needs to be laid down somewhere to rest," he added. "Is there a spare room I can put him in?" He asked, suddenly feeling very exhausted. Today was too much. This week was too much. He wanted it to be over with and done.

Leon frowned at the sight of the two overworked teens. They seemed to have gone through way more than the rest of them knew of. He looked over at Cloud with a deep frown on his face. "He's definitely our guy, and I guess we just found our connection between the victims and him," he said quietly to his partner.

------

Riku frowned looking down at Sora and Roxas. This was all so draining, and he was tired of all of it. He was tired of not feeling good enough for Sora, and he was definitely tired of everything ending in tragedy. As Sora ask him if he had a spare room, he sighed as his arms slipped down to limply lay down beside his waist. "No, but just take him back into my room. I'll take the couch for the night, and you two can just share my bed. Everyone else though needs to go home, that includes you, Zexion. I want to have a quiet tonight, and that doesn't seem to ever happen with everyone here." Riku stated as he offered up his own shelter to help Sora provide some comfort with Roxas, but his tone seemed to be sharp and unwilling to compromise as far as the everyone else leaving the apartment was concerned.

"Awww, Riku don't be like that," Demyx whined as he followed the silver haired male to the recliner that he slumped down into. "Demyx, please don't start this again, I am not in the mood to play your games." He groaned as Demyx hung over him whining about how they could all have a slumber party and make s'mores. Riku was obviously fighting a losing battle against the blonde in his tired state, but that didn't change the fact that he wanted to sulk in his misery and no one was giving him that simple pleasure.

Cloud nodded as he watched the scene play out. "Well, we need to get back to the station and see what else we can turn up with this new evidence, regardless. So why don't we get out of here, and let all the dust settle for a day or two. If this kid really has been a long-term victim of this guy, he isn't going to be so easy to let go of his possession. He is going to be looking for him, so we need to get a handle on this, but it is obvious that the kid is too stressed out to talk right now. We will definitely have to make sure that there is a police car patrolling the area, until we get a lead on his guys whereabouts. The one thing we do know is that he isn't skipping town just yet, therefore we have time as long as we have Roxas's location and safety secured." Cloud discussed with his partner before standing up.

"Here, let me help you carry him into the backroom." Cloud offered as he walked over and lifted the blonde up easily. He was extremely light as if he was fatally sick. "We are going to leave for right now, but within the next few days, I really need him to come in and talk to someone about his abuse, Sora. You and the other victim were abused all the same, but Roxas spent time with this guy. He knows this guy better than anyone else does right now. But since we know now that he is looking for the blonde, we are going set up a police officer outside the apartment complex to see if he turns up around here. With any luck, he doesn't know Roxas is here, and he is out looking for him elsewhere." Cloud informed Sora as he walked down the hall and laid the blonde on the bed. He wanted Sora to know that they were going to be protected, so Roxas could actually relax when he woke up. The blonde didn't seem to need anymore reason to be stressed out.

-------

Sora nodded at Riku’s offer, looking back down at his twin in his arms. “Thank you,” he said softly, trying with all his might to lift Roxas into his arms. Unfortunately, not only was Sora weak as is, but he was also exhausted and using any energy he did have to hold back the tears he knew were building up with that knot in his chest and lump in his throat. They were all taunting him to give in and let it all out.

He was immensely relieved when the bond detective offered to bring Roxas back to Riku’s room. He dragged himself behind the two blonds and watched Cloud lay the smaller blond down gently on Riku’s bed, nodding to every word he said as he strained to comprehend it all. His brain seemed to be shutting down too quick for Sora to keep up. “Yes, thank you,” he mumbled as he collapsed onto the bed and dragged himself up against his brother, curling up and closing his eyes as he felt his walls crumble. Tears rushed down his cheeks just seconds before his body gave out on him and he passed out clutching onto Roxas, not even bothering to let Cloud get out of the room first.

Axel sighed at Demyx’s nagging to Riku. “Come on, Dem, let the guy be. He’s obviously too exhausted to handle your insight on life and sleepovers right now. Plus, I think everyone here needs sleep. Not everyone can stay in bed all day and get away with it,” he told him, dragging his boyfriend off of Riku’s lap and pulling him to his side, arm wrapped around his waist. “How about me and you go get some ice cream and go to the park? Get out of the apartment for a little longer before going back?” he suggested, knowing Demyx couldn’t refuse ice cream. Especially free ice cream.

The redhead looked up at Cloud as he reentered the room. “It was nice seeing you after so long, Cloud. I mean, I wish it would have been under different circumstances, but it was still nice. I still have your number if you haven’t changed it, so I’ll text you sometime. I’ll try not to lose contact again. We’re gonna go to leave Riku some peace and so this ball of energy doesn’t start bouncing off walls and get himself another head injury,” he told them with a small smile. He looked down at the silvernette who looked about to pass out in the chair...or set the space he was staring into on fire with his look of frustration. He set his hand on his shoulder and gently squeezed. “If you need anything, buddy, don’t hesitate to call, alright? You know that. I hope you can get everything sorted out--at least in your head. See you in a few days," he said before turning and leaving, dragging Demyx out the door and down to his car.

Leon stood from his place on the couch and closed his folder, tucking it back beneath his arm. He stooped down to pick up the image Roxas dropped and set it down on the coffee table. "I'll leave this photo here. If you see this man, call us immediately," he told him, tossing a few of his business cards down on top of the image. "I would recommend keeping it out of Roxas's sight, at least until he's medicated. It's what sent him into that last panic attack. We'll be keeping in touch. Expect another visit within the next week," he informed the silverette then turned to his partner. "Ready to go, Cloud?"

Zexion frowned when he was told to get out of the apartment. He really didn't want to leave Roxas, but he guessed Sora was here. Roxas would be fine without him. "Alright, fine. Just let me go leave his medicine on the bedside table," he mumbled and made sure he still had the anxiety pills in his hand before filling a glass with cold water and walking silently back to Riku's room. He opened the door quietly and moved over to the side of the bed Roxas was sleeping on, setting the pills and glass down on the table there. It was sad seeing the two like this. Roxas was out cold and unaware while a quivering, unconscious Sora clutched onto him for dear life, fresh tear tracks on his cheeks. They looked so fragile that Zexion took extra care when he leaned down and kissed each of their foreheads gently, afraid to shatter them. He looked down upon them for a few moments longer before quietly retreating, closing the door behind him again.

Once he got back out there, everyone was gone except Riku slumped over in the chair. Cautiously, he walked over to him and stood beside him. “Are you sure you don’t want me to stay, Riku? What with you two fighting and Roxas’s panic attacks, I don’t think you can mentally handle much more. You’re strong, but you’re at your breaking point, Riku, and I’m worried for all of you guys. So much is happening. While I know you like to keep to yourself with all of your stress, I think you need to let at least some of it out before you explode. I’m always here for you to talk or vent to, Riku. Not only is it kind of my job as manager, but also as a friend. And as your friend, I don’t think you need to be completely alone right now, whether you want to or not,” he told him in a sincerely concerned voice.

------

Demyx frowned as Axel told him he had to leave. He didn't want to leave. Riku, whether he said so or not, needed his friends right now. Yeah, he was being spastic about it, but that didn't mean that he didn't have a point. "Aww, but Axel, I want to stay with Riku. He seems so down in the dumps." Demyx informed the redhead, before Axel put ice cream on the table. The blonde made a sour face. How was he supposed to choose between staying with grumpy Riku and getting ice cream with Axel. "Ummm, I guess, but we are going to come back in the morning bright and early to check-up on guys. Riku don't have anymore fits until we get back, okay? I don't want to miss it!" Demyx told the silver haired male playfully. Riku just waved the blonde off with a "sure, whatever."

As Riku just sat in the chair listening to everyone leaving, he continued to just stare at the wall. He didn't want anyone's help even if he needed it. Riku gave Axel and the detective the same treatment leaving as he had Demyx. He mumbled something about how he would be fine and that he would see him later to Axel, and he mumbled a okay and a sure thing to the officer. It was obvious that he was not in the best of places right now.

Cloud smiled at Axel. "That would be nice, and yeah my number hasn't changed so you should have the right one."Cloud said back to the redhead with a smile as he started towards the door as well. It was obvious to everyone that riku was not in the mood to deal with people anymore today. "Yeah, I'm ready. We need to get to work right away on working this new angle." Cloud said as he stood at the door waiting for Leon and then walking out it with him. After the detectives left, it just left Riku and Zexion in the living room.

Riku looked up at Zexion with a tired look. "Zexion, in the past few days, I have been walked in on, had my arm broken, failed to keep Sora from being raped by some psycho, and broken up with. Not to mention, I have had everyone staying at my apartment like I am running freaking motel. All I want is to be alone, i don't want to talk about and I don't want someone to fix it for me. I want to sit on my chair and have a hard drink." Riku told the slate-haired male before turning away as he felt tears coming to his eyes out of frustration. After looking at his floor for a moment, he looked back up at him in weakness. "But if you have to stay, you can at least go get the rum out of the freezer. I want to drink until I puke my liver out," Riku mumbled feeling his lips quiver slightly as he held back tears in his glossed over eyes.

Zexion nodded to Riku's request for a drink. He wanted one, too. He stood and patted Riku on the shoulder gently before moving I to the kitchen where he poured each of them a glass of rum, bringing both glasses and the bottle into the livingroom. He handed Riku his glass and set the bottle on the table before plopping back down on the couch and taking a swig of his drink.

It was silent for a while, both of them alternately taking swigs of their drinks, steadily getting more intoxicated. Eventually, Zexion said in a quiet voice, "You know, his mind's not at a good place right now either with everything going on. Not only is it bad for him to be making decisions like that with his relationship, but he probably just wanted some space from you because he didn't want to have you hurt anymore by what happens in his life. He already felt like a burden on you, and with everything happening..." he trailed off, taking another swig which emptied his second glass.

"But he tried to fix it, didn't he? I don't think he realized how much you care about him and didn't think it would hurt you as much as it did. He just seems lost, between the attack and Roxas coming back and having those panic attacks and you guys being walked in on and the fear of weighing you down with his issues and scared of you sending him pack to his parents' house... Riku, it's not hard to see just how broken both of you are right now, and it hurts all of us to see you two so down. I mean, you're in here drinking because you're done with life, and Sora...Sora's in there curled up to Roxas and holding on like his life depends on it shaking nonstop even though he's asleep. I think if anymore happens to him he's going to mentally and physically break, and it's not going to be pretty," he spoke softlyas he poured another glass and sipped that drink. "He needs something stable, and I think he's having a hard time finding that thing."

Riku had finished off three glasses and was pouring his fourth by the time, Zexion felt the need to start speaking to him. He wasn't kidding with his slate-haired manager when he said he wanted to get smashed, and if Zexion wasn't okay with that, he could get the hell out of his apartment. He wanted to forget about any and all problems he even could have had in another life. He didn't want to be able to remember his own name, let alone Sora's name, and with no food on his stomach, he was well on his way to becoming quite tipsy.

"I wanted to be that one stable thing for him... I wanted to be his everything, but he thought I pitied him. That is why he thought I was taking him and his brother in and dating him, do you know that? He thought that all that I have freaking done for him stemed from the fact that I was confusing my feeling of empathy with my feelings of attraction. You know how much of a sack of garbage that is? He pushed me away and then oh and then he came back after telling me he wanted to be friends that he wanted my opinion, my feelings on the matter. Well you know what my opinion is, Zexion?" Riku stated in a angered rant before pausing to down the fourth glass and pour a new one.

"I think I loved him... Or could have or at least had something nice for a change, you know? But no... Because I'm not allow to be happy, and it freaking really sucks.... You know I don't want a lot of things in this world, Zexion. I don't want the fame... Or the women or the money... But I wanted him... I really wanted him...and no even in a sexual way, I just wanted to make him happy," Riku confessed to the other as tears poured down his face. The entire time, he would pause only to take another sip of the alluring liquid that promised to fill the void of emptiness.

After Riku spoke those last words, he set his glass down as he slumped over his knees crying into his hands. "I can't be friends with him... I bloody don't have the heart and it isn't fair to him... I just wanted us to work so bad, but it seems like the whole universe is against us..." Riku sobbed into his hands, completely and utterly frustrated. He knew how irrational it was for him to be so attach to the kid, but Riku really didn't know just how far down the rabbit hole he had went for this kid until Sora told him they wouldn't work out. Before this morning, if Sora had asked Riku to jump off a bridge, he wholeheartedly would have jumped without a second thought... But he apparently was confused and didn't know what he wanted, according to Sora.

There was a small gasp of breathlessness from the hallway. Sora had woken up with a pulsing headache and had gotten up to find some pain killers. Then he had frozen as soon as he heard Riku speaking. "I'm sorry..," he whispered and scurried off to the kitchen to rummage through the pills. As soon as he found them, he poured the pills into his hand with shaky arms, body slowly breaking down as he leaned forward on the counter and struggled for breath. He was having an anxiety attack.

He stumbled over to the sink to get a glass of water, but he slid down the cabinets before he could. He pulled his knees up to his face, hugged them tightly and sobbed, gasping for breath as the world grew dark around him. He didn't know he made Riku feel like that. He didn't know Riku wanted to be so prominent in his life. He wanted him to hold him and tell him it would be okay right now.

He didnt feel the arms move around him, trying to pry his arms from his knees. He barely heard the voice calling his name, the words distorted as he slowly lost consciousness.

Zexion cursed as Sora slumped against him, pills tumbling out onto the floor. "s**t," the man cursed. He hadn't noticed the brunette standing in the hallway and got to him too late when he heard the rustling around in the kitchen followed by rough gasps.

Riku startled up out of his seat hearing Sora rush into kitchen. "...Sora?.." He asked almost stunned. Zexion had told him that Sora was asleep, so Riku had told all that to Zexion in confidence. He knew Sora wasn't in the best of places right now, that was why he just let Sora throw their relationship away. He wasn't going to go against Sora's wishes when he was like this, but now it just seemed like he was just making everything worse.

He rushed over the brunette just staring down at him as Zexion tended to him. As he watched in horror, he felt tears just pouring down his face. He honestly couldn't remember the last time he cried this much in one day. He was such a wreck, but he couldn't stop himself. He leaned down and scooped the brunette up into his arms bridal style as carefully as he could. After picking the other up, he carried him to the couch and just sat down so he could hold the other. The silver-haired male was still crying, but he did what he could. He could hold Sora and pretend that everything wasn't as screw up as he actually was.

"Zexion, w-why is this have to be so hard..?" He asked as he held brunette to his chest, gently rocking back and forth with him.

Zexion shook his head at the silverette's question, sitting down on the couch again. "I don't know, Riku. I wish I had the answers to all of our problems, but I don't. I'm sorry," he answered truthfully. He watched Riku cradle Sora in his arms lovingly, and he couldn't help but smile despite the situation. They belonged together. Zexion could feel it, he could see it.

He stood and put the alcohol away, washing out their glasses. Then he walked back into the lovingroom and rested a hand on his shoulder. "Riku, I'm gonna go back with Roxas, alright? Tomorrow...tomorrow we'll get everything sorted out and get everything situated so you can actually have your apartment back. Tomorrow's a new day, and it will be better. Come he me if anything happens, okay? And do me a favour: don't let that boy go," he added to the end with a small, encouraging smile.

He headed back to Riku's room and slid in bed with Roxas, curling up beside him and falling asleep easily.
