"Well we haven't heard anything since the last attack, which happened in the Green House while Bryce and Iridessa were cornered. They managed to free themselves unscathed luckily, but saftey measures have been taken to enforce protection on the students." Lily replied nervously.

"Attacked?" Kirra jummped out of bed and skirtted two a stop. Four students. She blinked, her throat constrcting. Her fualt...All her fualt...
She clapped her hands loudly. "I want to knoww what happened and what happened-NOW," she said, not noticing the black tatto creeping up her hand to her knuckles.

"I shall fetch Iridessa to tell you the story." Lily replied quickly exciting the room and entering a few minutes later with Iridessa by her side.
"Go on." She prompted Iridessa.
Iridessa sighed and launched on her story. "Well...I was in the greenhouse about a month ago, alone. I hadn't heard about the first attack so I wasn't suspicious. Well then Saraz came in and cornered me. He tried to...to get me on his side and become one of his followers. When I refused, Bryce found and stood up for me. Saraz tried to pursuade Bryce to join him also, but Bryce refused like I had. Saraz became angry and threatened us. He...he put the crucious curse on me and refused to stop until Bryce joined his side, but Bryce persuaded Saraz to stop for them to negociate. Then...something happened. Somehow Saraz was forced away when Bryce offered his life for mine. Saraz coudn't touch us, so we escaped."

Kirra blinked. It couldn't be. "You did the right thing, you were very brave," she said, smiling as bes tshe could and placed her hand on the girl's shoulder. Her gaze caught the makrings and ripped back her sleeve, and watched the marks flurish up. "Not good..."

"Thank you Iridessa you may go back to class now." Said Lily with a hesitant smile. She waited until the room was empty and silent before turning to Kirra. "Whats wrong?" She asked, anxious. "Do you have any idea what Saraz is planning?"

Kirra blinked at her hand. the tattoo started to burn. "No...but I have an idea..."
she sat on the end of a bad. "He...when I was attacked in the staff room...an Egyptian spell stopped him-and he had an unusal amount of knowledge about Egypt. He's using some anceint curse or spell...but spells in ancient Egypt they come from an artifact something..."
Then her photogenic memory flashed an image in her mind. A pendant. her hand flew to her neck.

Almost trance like, Kirra stood up. "Pardon me Headmistres," she said walking smoothly out of the hospital wing, excitment bubbling inside of her. Maybe just maybe... ((continued in forest))
