One of the three anime DVDs I got was Spirited Away! Twas very good. I still like Howl lots though... The other two are called The Cat Returns and Laputa: Castle In The Sky. I've managed to watch The Cat Returns now, it was absolutely fabulous (combining my love of anime with my love of cats, what could possibly go wrong?).

A girl saves a cat from being run over, and it turns out that he is the prince of the Cat Kingdom (obviously xd ), so the king of Cat Kingdom keeps giving the girl a load of gifts to say thank you (although the cats thought of them, so it's like a load of mice and catnip and such). Eventually the cats kidnap her and take her to the Cat Kingdom to marry the prince (which they think is the ultimate gift), and she has to try and escape. It's really, really good! Surprisingly funny too.
Yeah, I love cats! So much! I think kittens are the cutest thing ever biggrin . Dyke in Shining Handcuffs can testify to my minor obsession lol.

That does sound very interesting, and funny. I doubt one would be able to make a serious story out of that.
I have a natural thing for cats. Although dogs really dislike me even the most violent cats love me.

Me too! I was at my friend's house yesterday and she actually commented how her cats like me more than her when I'm there xd . I don't mind dogs, but I'd never have one as a pet. Far too much trouble!

Hey! You're not allowed to steal my DVD! But you can have it as long as you'd like mrgreen . I'm currently watching my last of the anime films I got, the one called 'Laputa: Castle in the Sky'. It's totally different again from the others so far, I'll let you know more about it when I've finished it...

Weird how the same director can churn out such different stories. Yorkies aren't too bad. Although they're nigh impossible to house-train unfortunately.

i'm not a huge fan of small dogs...i'd have a big one if i had to. i've been bitten by dogs twice in my life. one was a jack russel the other was a small yapping brown thing. i think they can sense i'm a cat person lol. but i definately do not get on with small dogs domokun

Big dogs are worse for me! Little dogs don't try and knock you over when they jump up at you... Although perhaps that's a downfall to being a small person, Skeksys blaugh

lol, no. That's a downfall of being anything but a pessimist I think. Since pessimists expect dogs to do something that will hurt them, they expect to be knocked down and so prepare for it before hand and when the time comes they counter it. Jack russels I can not stand. And the second dog bite of mine MYSTIK would probably love to tell the story of. ((I'll say I got bitten on the nose and I'll give you the rest of the story in a couple of days. Unless you ask for it before.))

I'd quite like to hear the story too... I'd say that I'm lucky enough never to have been bitten by a dog, but that's a little like waving a red flag at a bull...

The first one I still have a scar from (St Barnard vs four year old.) The second, my *swears very badly* aunt told me the dog was taken away from it's mother too early and still purred. I told her dogs don't purr and she assured me that this one did. It started 'purring', I called my mom and said 'look mommy, the dog is purring at me', turned back and it lunged. *goes and hides in a corner and waits for the laughter to die down before adding* It was a long time ago.

That actually sounds incredibly traumatising! Poor you! I definitely wouldn't laugh at that story! I think it's safe to say we all have very good reasons for not being dog people.
(Apparently I was terrified by one of my parents' friend's dogs when I was little, though I have no recollection of it.)
