She calmly raises a lone brow at the younger vampire. "And I suppose you could make it a duo and be my valiant defender from those who no longer respect the sanctity of a healer's path." Her tone is light with humor, but by his impulsive nature she wonders if he might not indeed take her up on the notion.

Dustin beams a toothy smile at her
"Yeah! THE INTREPID DUO STRIKES AGAIN!"
He jumps off the table and calms down in an instant, taking Ame's hand and kissing it, bowing like a gentleman
"If you'll have me, m'lady, of course."
Still bowing, he looks up at her, joy and humor dancing in his eyes

Ame barely suppresses laughter. She composed her face before speaking, "I would gladly have you at my side, good man. How or where do you propose we are most needed?"

"Ah, Earth calling Dustin; your enthusiasim will carry you far but wont help many unless we figure out just where and how. Tell you what; let's go to Europe first. I'll need supplies. We can figure out where to travel from there."

She felt she was letting the younger vampire's enthusiasm and still very human like impetuousness carry her along, like sand drifting on a wave. Part of her wanted to stop and assess, to plan or even drop the matter and retreat. It was her age speaking. Instead, she shrugged her shoulders to loosen the tension and tried to think of just what to do to get them on their way. On their way to what she wasn't yet certain of.

Dustin sits down and pulls his laptop out of his coat, hooking into the internet and trying to think of destination ideas.
A gurgling yawn is heard as padded feet walk into the room. Padded and furry feet.

Nef pads over to Ame and puts his head in her lap, his wolven eyes looking at her in a pleading manner as he nuzzles for scritches

Nef's eyes gleam and you'd swear his wolf-form just smiled as he gets scritched 'round the neck and ears
Dustin suddenly exclaims,

A few moments of frantic mouseing and typing
"... DUDE. Seriously. Ame - we are SO going to Japan."

Her head came up, "Japan?" Blinking, she asked, "Why on earth there? Dustin?" At the moment, her friend was sounding a bit crazy. She had been thinking Eastern Europe, Middle East, the heart of a city...Japan?

Lots of people there - surely there's gonna be SOMEone to help... and they have differing beliefs from the Euro-centric world... might do you some good - US some good - to experience that... and... and AND! ... 'Wings of Prayer' is opening their tour in Tokyo in a month! I am SO ordering tickets for the two of us..."
Much frantic clicking ensues again as Dustin dives for a ticket site

Ame looked down at Nef as if to ask 'Did you understand any of that?'
"Alright, Japan. Flight....not an issue for either of us. Do you know where in Japan you want to go? I don't know much about Japan. What is their folk healing like? You say they have different beliefs, what does that encompass? It can be difficult when crossing Europe to be accepted as a healer in two different places. I'm not certain how folks from a different continent will react to me."
