"Soul!" Tulin exclaimed, delighted to see Soul once again. "I'm doing well. How have you been? And the village...?" As Tulin waited for Soul's response, she opened a drawer behind the counter and began pulling on thick beige gloves.

"I am doing okay. The Village is okay just trying to get back to normal." Soul said. "But it is great to see you too." He chuckled. He then went behind the counter and huged Tulin. "Just great to have you back. Need anything ?"

"Nothing. But I do recommend you read your mail - those private messages you get occasionally now and again." Tulin recommended, and began feeding the hungry Bluech birds.

"I will thank you for the reminder. Hey those birds are new. What are they?" Soul said not seeing them around the village before.

"Bluech birds." Tulin said, with a slight laugh. "But these bird's are mutations. They've got different colour feathers. They wouldn't be able to survive in their natural habitats, so I took them in." Tulin said. "Do you own a pet?" She then asked, shutting their cages, and taking the thick gloves off.

"No but I am not opposed to owning one. Just do not know which one I would want right now. Esspecially with the inn and bar." Soul explained. "But these guys are beautiful. What do they eat?"

"Bluech berries - and most other fruits, seeds. They also can be found eating grass if they are low on fibre. They're normally herbivores, but if they're young are starving, they would also eat insects, and perhaps small mammals." Tulin answered, glad to be able to answer the question.
"Ah." Tulin paused and shivered.
"Can you hear that?" She whispered. "The sound of calling...?"

"Sorry no I did not Tulin." said Soul looking a bit emabarressed. "Is it a bad thing that I did not hear it?" he asked curious on her response.

"No, no, it's fine." Tulin said, pressing her fingers to her lips for a signal to whisper. "It's good." She added. She listened, creeping in Soul's direction. "Where's it coming from?" She whispered.

Tulin kept pausing, and restarting. As the melody became quieter, Tulin stopped, and realized she must have been confusing Soul. "Apologies Soul." She said.
"This kind of melody is like a song... And it's hard to tell where exactly it's coming from." Tulin explained. "It's a calling, when an animal is about to die. Not small things like frogs or snails - but things like certain wolves, dragons, phoenixes..." Tulin stopped. "I'm sorry about that Soul. For all I know, this song could be miles away."

"Nothing to be sorry for. It is a shame when it happens but it is all part of the cycle of life." Soul explained. "Now do you have other pets other than the Bluech Birds?"

"Yes I do." Tulin said, swinging the door open to the shop with her right hand, and with her left patting the nose of a pale horse like creature.
Tulin smiled, "Soul, meet Heart. Heart meet Soul." The creature bowed and began poking it's nose at Soul. "She wants attention." Tulin said, shutting the door to the shop, and walking to the cupboards. She began opening the doors and searching for some hay.
"She's a Twain." Tulin explained. "Heart the pale Twain."

Soul then petted Hearts neck smiling. "She is beautiful. You called her a Twain. What is a Twain? I never heard of them." He said as he took out a sugar cube that he had from the inn. "I also brought over some green tea if you are interested Tulin. Think of it as one of my ways of saying welcome back." He said then looked at Heart. "Would you like something to drink too Heart?" he asked not expecting an answer from her.

"I've lost my appetite recently." Tulin said sadly. "But I'd love to accept your green tea - as a sign of thank you." She added.
"Twains, are horse like creatures. The last herd is currently around this village at the moment. It was probably them who sang the song..." Tulin sighed. "They're not doing so well, due to fun hunting, being captured for pets, hunted for things that are used in 'natural medicines' - the usual."
"I've known Heart for quite some time. We've shared some memories." Tulin said, with a smile, patting Heart on the head. "And knowing Heart - she'll drink/eat anything." Tulin stopped patting Heart for a moment, then rambled once again in her untidy draws.
