Goblin: 2/5 *Injured* 3 [self destruct] Paper

Paper: -19/5 *Explosion* 24 [Overblast] Laz

Cog: 11/15 *Chiped* 3 [self destruct] Paper
The blast of magical energy spins out from Laz and smashes head on into the paper soldier. Deteriorating, and on fire, the Soldier makes a wild leap at the mage. Unfortunatly for the golem, its last effort was easily dodged, and the paper soldier crashed to the ground with a large bang.
As the burning paper clears, you see that your goblin is hurt, but like the cog guard, fully opperational.
Cog Guard will do an action if needed.

Laz looks to his little goblin friend, and haves his hand, sending the creature to the Æther from whence it came. Making a note to pick up the token after this, he looks to theCog guard. Seeing his pusition, he charges his Energy Burst spell, and blasts the machine-man.

Needless to say, the Cog Guard is blasted into a steaming pile of scrap metal. And as the golems once again remove shrapnel and heal you, three banners unfurl at the sides of the arena. There is an odd insignia on each one
Bellamin, blindfolded, presses a button at random. "You can still back out now if you want!" The spellsword yells at the opposite direction.

Lazarus kisses the metallic glove on his left hand, the one that is his force field. He smirks up at Bellamin, his "devil-may-care" attitude scares even himself sometimes.
"Lets go, spellsword! Me and anything you have to throw at me!"

A metal gate opens infront of you. Inside, another paper golem steps out of the shadows; the same one that healed you.
-Paper Magi- [18] [[focused]] Attack-0 Defense-3 Combat dice- 0 (1d0) Magic- 9 Life- 1 (5) Equip-0 Abillities- *Mana-Flux Explosion (1), Skilled caster (4) Spells- energy-burst, heal Actions- N/a *Mana-Flux Explosion (1Cp) At death, roll 1d3. A result of 1 means this does damage equal to your magic score, divided evenly to everyone in the battle. A 2 means you do damage equal to half of your magic score, round down, to every enemy. A 3 means you do your magic score, to all your party-members.*
As it takes a battle stance, the magical energies it gives off were impressive.

Lazarus smiles, and taps the button on the glove that covers his left hand. A soft blue glow covers his body as he charges an overblast spell at the paper-magi.

Laz: ((0)) 3/15 [[ 0 MP & 1 AP]] 18 [Energy-burst] Paper Magi 4 [Mana-Backdraft] Paper Magi ~+~
Magi: -19/5 *Explosion* 24 [Overblast] Laz
The two magic casters clash in a wave of arcane energies. Your overblast slams into the golem with massive force, ripping holes and setting the paper magi on fire. In retaliation, the 'dieing' golem sends one last blast of energy before being blown apart by a influx of stored mana. As the smoke clears, you are still standing; the creature's magic energies were blocked mostly by your energy-shield.
As the golems once again start to clean the battlefield, another paper magi approaches you to cast its healing spell.
"Round two?" Bellamin asked.

Lazarus coughs, the smoke clearing out of the area. He smiles up at the spellsword, and brushes some soot off of his clothes, " I fear that was the worst you truely had.... let us see what else you have!"

Lazarus's eyes widen as the spider steps through the gate. This creature is a bit more of a challange than Lazarus assumed it would be. But that mattered not to him, unless he was stunned. With a press of the button on his glove, a blue aura formed around him. Then Lazarus quickly charged his overblast attack, and released the ball of distruction at the spider.

The Spider rushed towards Laz with no sense of self preservation. Throwing itself onto Lazarus full force, it clawed at the mage. However, a timely Overblast coupled with the mage's defenses forced the spider to retreat. With one long creak, a thunder-bolt slammed into Laz.
You are still standing; the force-field took most of the electricity. As the scent of ozone clears, the spider still buring as paper golems did their assigned jobs.
"Next?"

Lazarus shuddered a moment, and looked at his Force Field. He needed to be able to use his heart of the crypt to recharge it's power, but with these battles only lasting one turn, or lead to his death, He didn't really have much change. He sighed, and nodded to Bellamin. "Of course... Though this might be my last round."

((Not the kind of roll I was looking for... >.<))
Bellamin releases a few levers, while pressing several others at random. Out of the shadows of the same gate, steps two Cog Warriors. The stand side by side waiting for the mage to deal the first move.
