Ben let his guard down looking at Kale lying face down in the sand and walked over to her wondering if she was dead or alive. "Kale? Are you alive?" He kneeled down next to her and shook her slightly.

Kale didn't move. She laid there, face down -- quiet; and from Ben's position it might look as though she weren't breathing.

Ben turned Kale's body over unaware that she was still alive to see if she was ok. "Kale?!"

Kale didn't say anything laying there limp in his arms and then she struck, eyes opening; she quick swung a punch at Ben; and then more consecutively afterwards.

Ben fell for her trick and took a barage of punches strait to his face knocking him back afew inches and he stood there looking at Kale with a look of slight anger but it slowly changed to an expression of happiness and he slouched over slightly. "Heh. I knew you were strong Kal-" He then collapsed backwards laying on the beach looking up at the sky, his shirt slowly turning red from his old wounds that hadn't completely recovered yet opening up during the fight.

Rake approached his captain and his chef and yawned. He had been sleeping ins his cabin after working on his new technique on paper and was now at a new place. The chef and Captain had been easy to find. He had been lucky though to check his boat just as things where moving or it had been left alone. "Oi Kale. How about you making me some breakfast?" Rake didn't care about the tension because, truly he felt nothing about the fact that he was hungry and tired.

Kale's eyes opened wide as Ben collapsed and she rushed towards him. "Oh Ben." She frowned nervously and looked over him. He was hurt pretty badly, that was for sure. This exertion she was sure hadn't helped either. She touched his forehead and shook her head. "I'm so sorry, Captain." She whispered to Ben.
Picking Ben up, she turned to see Rake. "Breakfast?" She questioned and then sighed and said, "Go wait on the ship." She told him, taking over; in their Captain's unconscious state. She carried Ben back to the ship, and below deck to where the kitchen was, laying him out carefully on some blankets and a pillow. She frowned, and went to get a wash cloth, to wipe up the blood.

Ben lied there on the deck of the ship still slightly cautious and looked at the sky. "Nakama is everything..." He whispered to himself.

Kale didn't open her mouth; She felt horrible. She couldn't believe she'd fought their Captain like this. Like Jesbero; and she hated being on par with him. She cleaned Ben's wounds and did her best to wrap them, they honestly needed a doctor. She got some water, and slowly, had the almost unconscious man drink it. "Come on Captain," She whispered. "You need to get your strength back up."

Ben tilted his head up slightly drinking some of the water then slowly managed to move into a sitting position and took a breath. "Huu, Kale. I'll be fine." He got to a kneeling position grunting a little from the pain of his new and old injuries but pushed through it and stood up. "I am making you First Mate." HE said smiling at her slightly. "You can have a level head and make the right calls when it counts and that's what this crew need-" He coughed a little spitting up a little blood but ignored it. "I need to go for a while and while Im gone, your in charge."

Kale stared at him, in shock; wanting to tell him to lay back down but when he began speaking, she just listened. "Okay." She whispered when he had finished. She was First Mate; and should would take care of the crew and ship while he was gone. It was her job, she was pleased.

Ben walked over to the side of the deck and placed his hand on the railing. "Take care of Athen while I'm gone. I'll be taking your boat for my trip." He walked over to the ramp of the ship stumbling once and turned back to Kale. "But before I go, could you make me some lunch? Im starving."

Kale smiled, watching her Captain and nodded. "As long as you take care of Butter's, I don't mind." She laughed sweetly, and then tacked on; "As for lunch, sure; Anything in particular you would like?" She questioned.

Rake awoke form his rest and heard the last words of Kale. "Well when you're asking so nicely. I guess I would like: Beer, bacon, a rare slice of meat and what ever the captain is having." Well Rake wasn't completely ignorant and approached both of them. He looked at the captain and could guess what had happened. "You'll be okay captain! We'll be waiting for your return and I'll gladly assist in any way I can. Even if it's hard for me, I'll rather die then see the ship under the sea." Rake smiled and looked towards the sky.
