Ao-sagi nodded to show that she understood and approved, but dared not speak up. Instead, she looked expectantly at Mizu, who already had the privilege to entertain at the teahouse and surely was a lot more experienced then her.

"In fact, Mizu, that is a perfect place to start our lesson. I will pretend to be a patron and I want you girl's to practice talking to me. Is that alright with all of you?"Serena asked.

"Arigato gozaimashite Onee-sama," Mizu replied politely, blushing from the praise. She had no objections to wherever they began, but couldn't bring herself to say anything more.

Momoko just looked down, rather used to being ignored at this point. She was, after all, a wall flower and very easily ignored.

Realizing that both her Onee-sama and Ao-sagi-san were looking at her, she colored and took a calming breath. "Ne Onee-sama, where would you like us to begin?" she asked, unsure of what she ought to say first.

"Well to make this more realisistic,"Serena explained as she walked over to one of the areas and got some patron clothes. Then she walked behind a screen she had placed in the room and changed into the patron outfit. She walked out the door and stuck her head in.
"I want you girls to greet me as I come in,"Serena explained.

Mizu nodded, her mouth suddenly dry with nervousness. Swallowing compulsively, she hopped her queasiness didn't show as she waited for her Onee-sama to come in.

"Quick", Ao-sagi whispered as sensei Serena closed the door again. "Shall we say something in unison? How about:
Good evening, honoured guest! Then we bow all together and introduce ourselves seperately. Would she like that?"

Serena gave the young maikos time to figure out what they were going to do. Serena hid a smile that was creeping on her lips as she gave them a few minutes.

Ao-sagi nodded exitedly at Mizu's proposal. "That is a good idea! Since you are the most experienced among us, would you do the first introduction please? And then -if it is o.k. with you, Momo-chan- I would go second."
