The rain had let up and the sun was peaking nicely out of the clouds, just enough to make the women put down her umbrella and walk casually down the street. Tasha was still ahead, waiting on whatever dry spot she found, which was close to none. The ground was covered in the transparent liquid, swelling and rippling as people walked past it, through it, and jumped over it. It was a wonder to watch as the puddels overlaped each other in cold hugs. The streets where just as lonely as the water on the streets. People passed by, not giveing the big cat a second glance, they all had places to be and had no time to question why a large feline was sitting ontop of a mailbox. Kamie giggled at her pets behavior, swinging the yellow umbrela around her wrist. It was fun to walk carelessly in the streets, to pretend to be an ignorant person who knew nothing of what was happening to her planet. People always choose the option that was best for them, and that is what Kamie did. She thought of her own saftey, to be ignorant ment that you didn't know. A smile fluttered on her lips as she countined to wak down the streets. The streets grew narrower as she headed into a more shabbier place. Kamie was an expert at following maps and directions, it was wether or not she wanted to follow them. Today, she choose to go a differant route home, one that took her the long way to her apartment. There was hardly anybody on the streets except for herself a group of three plus child ahead. And then there was that strange man who kept shifting his eyes in their direction. She saw the scare and instently, she knew that scar was no phony. She hurried ahead, her heels clicking loudly on the wet sidewalk. The mist was heavier in this area, but it didn't stop her as she wrapped her arm around the girl who looked rather like the man standing next to her. "Where have you guys been?" She asked in a sing-song voice, pretending to know each and one of them. Tasha followed, slinking in between her legs and heading towards the front. "You guys had me so worried. Geesh. Leaving poor Vanilla all by herself." Kamie squineted her nose and puffed her cheecks in a pouty face. These people apparently didn't know they where being followed, and she was going to help them. They where all human of course. Wheren't they?

The women on the right of her made Vanilla shiver as she saw her scar, and it was defintaly not a fake. She continued to smile playfully, putting on a face to hide the new discomfot that rose in her chest, Takeing a quick glance behind her, Kamie saw that the man was still falling behind. Her pace quickened and she was half dragging them along. Tasha had wriggled behind and was walking next to the child, pushing her head into the little child's hands, purring for attention. Kamie's voice was hushed as she walked through the puddels. "I know you don't know me, but listen calmly as I tell you. You are being followed. I normally don't do these things, but you have a kid with you, so I can't turn a blind eye." Kamie's eyes shifted to all of them, makeing sure they believed, but even if they didn't, she was still going to help them out. "Turn this way." Kamie was once again pulling them down an alley that made a sharp left down into another side street and up to another small complex of streets. Kamie had been down these streets so many times that loseing stalkers was no big deal to her. Kamie wasn't checking behind her and anymore, instead, she was concentrating on the path that lead back to her housing. Tasha moved from the child to the front and sped up, leaping over a gated fence and onto the stairs of the building in front of them. The blonde women was hurryingly pushing them into her temporary liveing that she couldn't be bothered to see anybody behind her. She was out of breath and could tell she had the eyes of everybody on her as she stood against the door.

Embaressment took hold of every feature on Kamie's face and body. She wanted to crawl into a hole and hide. She was used to jokes, but never being in a spot where she was trying to help, but help wasn't needed. Tasha was back over to the little girl, rubbing her face into her whole body, purring rather loudly. Vanilla slumped to the floor, beat red from exhaustion and embaressment. Tears welled at the corner of her eyes as she pulled her slender legs up to her chest and hugged them. Everything seemed all so miserablley wrong. First she found herself next to one of the aliens this morning, and now she was being mocked silently by the eyes of strangers. Kamie picked herself up and wiped her tears away and put on a bright smile. She waltzed to the kitchen and with a sing-song voice called to them. "You guys want anything to drink?" The best way to deal with embaressment was to act like nothing was wrong. Tasha purred even louder as the girl giggled and fell to the floor with the big feline over her, pinned down like a toy. Tasha meant no harm, but that was the only way she knew how to play.
