I agree with York. They did sort of cast the first stone, and an RP war would be worth our time if for no other reason than that it would be fun and would put our name out there. We need the publicity, after all.

Finally introduced my character to the Bullet. There was a lot of reading and for every page I got through (slow reader and multitasking) there were three more up. sweatdrop

Regardless to say, I'm quite happy with how the Bullet is presenting itself. Maybe the heightened security was a little whack for me, how can we get new customers and clients if they have to go through all that protocol, but the relationships building between Cheeky and MP, Stella and Ryan, heck even MK is having fun with Anderson. It allows us to utilize our battle hardened characters in the real world and I like how everyone has assimilated. I think that this will in turn make 'us' better players as well.

I agree with Kyle, TFOA is not worth our time. Munching and all other forms of n00bness is not something we want to associate with. We will defend but they aren't worth retaliation. Just end it quick with a bullet and that will be that . . . even our patrons don't like these guys so let's get rid of them as soon as they cause problems.

MP will be gone for a week which means I bet Cheeky's appearance may be a little rarer plus the inactivity has started with a few OOC towers. First step is we just get everyone to act inside the Bullet until we can get the RP up. Once I have capability to, I will place teh guild as hidden and then we'll talk further strategy on our recruitment campaign. I won't be accepting invites utnil then unless they really really amaze me, submission and past posts.

As interim-Captain that is what I will instantiate. Any comments or suggestions I'll be at the bullet . . . as soon as someone lets me in. rofl

Ok, you got me Alucard, I'll support this revival. But there are things we haven't brought up that we really need to discuss, mostly administrative stuff that needs to be done.

First, to hell with this interim Captain bullshit, the guild needs a leader, Xenos, whom I love to death, is never online to lead the guild therefore his position should be passed on immediately to Carlos or whoever has the same level of excellence and diligence to their duty.

Second, restructuring. Every member in this thread seems to be a former member of the templars before it died, well, during one of the occasions its been alive. Keeping that in mind we should nominate a few people to be squad leaders, about two squads will do until we get a larger amount of members. In those squads we need to bring back the specialization thing I remember seeing somewhere in the guild. The squads should then be balanced according to specialization, an entire squad of riflemen would be useless in a strike team unless their main goal was to shoot anything that moved.

Above the aforementioned squads we would need a few people running the administration. Personally, I would suggest we stick with Carlos as Captain (or me=me if you hadn't figured it out by now) and Alucard as a second in command or an administrator of some sort. I can think of no other people more deserving of those jobs. I would also nominate York, but he has a boat load of other duties to attend to so despite his intense loyalty for this guild I would not be able to recommend him for administration however much I desire to.

I feel the need to mention recruiting though I'll admit that it isn't my specialty, warm and fuzzy aren't really my thing.

I must apologize in advance if my statements offend anyone or seem agitated in any way. I've seen this guild die about three times and if I'm going to be a part of it I want to be damn sure it doesn't die again.

Oh, and about those pussywillows disrupting the bar, just ignore them. They are obviously not the the caliber of this group and it can be fixed by either a report to a mod for harassment, or by blocking them. In order to catch them for harassment you need to put them on a blacklist in which you warn them that you will report them if they come around again. If you aren't in that kind of mood, then humiliate them with words or whatever you kids use these days.

I don't want to be a d**k but I personally think that Xenos and Himi should only be VC's if they can manage to get in here and act like one. I think it would be better to have Me=Me as the Captain and Alucard as the VC. Actually, scrap that, I don't really give a flying ******** who is what so long as they do their job. By do their job I mean show up on gaia almost every day for an hour or more.

Everyone seems to be intent on reviving the guild. But ask yourselves, do you want to revive the guild, or do you want to turn back time and be lead by Xenos and Himi? I want to revive the guild, to do that we need active leadership. I wish they could lead, but the fact is that we've tried that and they have needed to tend to their personal lives, which is fine, don't get me wrong. Honestly I wish I had something in my life that would take my attention away from gaia, but I don't so instead I've assended to a higher state of existance that just happens to live inside a computer.

My opinion is that Gemini has raised points -- all valid ones at that.

Frankly though, my plan was to always "take over". I believe that we all need to accept the fact that Xenos isn't coming back. Himi left long before him. This was their brain-child, yes, although they have left it to us to let it grow.

I will apply more pressure to get the reigns handed over ASAP. With motherplucker gone for about a week, I am going to focus on that. Even if it means getting creepy and calling the man. It will happen.

Next on my agenda is to start looking at what is in all of these bloody threads and looking at what information is obsolete, incorrect, or just something that we don't agree with or want changed.

Lastly, something I personally want to do even though most of you all will view it as purely cosmetic or whatever...I want to edit our Wiki. It's last update was years ago and things need to be changed. That's a side project, however. Just like the second post in this thread has a checklist, that list will grow as we discover more things.

Folks, this is our opportunity to start from scratch. This is our chance to influence the Templars on a larger scale. Just like Xenos stepped down as an Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel, his time has come to step down and become an Elder of the Latrocinium.

Given that the wiki as nothing more but a side project (and something that seems to only have one entry other than Xenos...me ninja ) I could definitely use some help there. It wouldn't take much of anything, although, there is SO much more to do that should be done now so I'll put that on the back burner.

FYI, I'll be calling Xenos tomorrow to b***h and moan. =]

Shadowkite, you are encouraged to make any sort of character that you wish. The plan is for Carlos and I to take the Templars for a ride to hopefully reach new heights. This is not a temporary situation. Anyway, please make a profile that you want...mind you our RP in Barton Town which is going to be a REQUIRED RP (not that any aren't actually...) will be a training op for the Templars. Perhaps that should be something to brainstorm with Motherplucker? If there could be tasks for non-combat folks.... it's a thought.
