He stirred and stirred but the faster he stirred, the batter began to separate, or do something weird. Needless to say, it didn't look quite like anyone else's and Efflo was having a hard time restraining himself from tossing the bowl onto the floor in a coltish tantrum. He just couldn't let Gabby beat him, not at baking!

He lifted his spoon menacingly, though it was not sure whether he was planning to smack his batter into submission or throw it at someone. A look from the teacher, however, had him reconsidering what sort of actions were joyful and he stuck to angrily stirring, even if he wasn't happy about it.

All of his griping and unhappy faces had seemed to paid off as just when he was about to give up, certain the batter was beyond saving, it all seemed to come together, like some sort of holiday miracle. He let out a happy snort, entirely pleased with himself as he wiggled his way closer to Gabby. Once he was next to the dragon, he bumped him gently at his hip and grinning, nodding at his batter which he was sure was better, if only margarinally. “I win.” Mixing Done!Student: Efflo Mixing Score: 11 xNio Love i hope you like my sugar pun : D

Gabby was so pleased to see Efflo at the class. He was even more pleased to see how difficult the process was for his boilfriend. He was ready to show off his work, and be proud of how well he'd done, when Efflo stamped out any chance of it with those two, little words. I win. Gabby put his own bowl down, and his cold eyes flared up, glaring his boilfriend down intensely. This meant war.

Venturing into the nice cold outside, found Olivia in front of yet another one of those interesting looking buildings that had randomly appeared with the snow now gracing the campus. So, really, of course the ghoul ventured on inside - not even reading the sign which would actually tell her what was going to go on here - and found herself in a very sweet smelling room. As sweet smelling as it was outside and sparkly as well. And there were many bells.
And her eyes fell to where the oven was. Okay, she was no going over there. But at the other there, there were counters and students. And Molan and Andrew and Efflo! OuO!! Her small form seemed to gravitate towards them, even as probably far apart as they were. She didn't utter a word to either of them, and found any words lost really when the cute instructor began to speak and tell them the purpose of this class. Baking. Oh wait. That... dealt with fire didn't it? Her eyes shot to Andrew and Molan and Efflo, a little worried. And then there was a bowl in front of her, well the mixing part seemed like it would be fun. So, she picked up the spoon and didn't seem to operate it well enough...

Getting her spoon back from the ground seemed to be easy enough, but sadly being an undead didn't mean that it was probably a good idea to wash it or something. So, she went back to attempting to mix the concoction. And it was still lumpy.

After a few more attempts with the spoon mechanics, Olivia finally seemed to get herself into the motions of properly mixing the batter. This was her first time making food after all, not like she knew exactly what she was doing, but yes. The ghoul finally got into the groove and soon enough she found her bowl not so lumpy any more. It was smooth, glistening and looked as it should!
Olivia was pleased. OuO

Another baking class, AJ hoped he wasn't too late to join. The venue of the class wasn't taken inside the classroom building, but the sugar gingerbread structure well next to it , as the sign suggested. The inside of it felt like Xiu's room - smelling sweet and good. However, the boil shivered as he heard the professor's trills. What's the no.1 detestable thing for the amphisbaena boil again? Yes, it's high pitched noises. Once again, it proved that elf-like existence was no good. Maybe she think he couldn't hear what she said, but she totally underestimated how good the hearing of his species was. He scooped up his bowl and started mixing. The spicy brown powder had a good smell and he enjoyed every step in baking, even the one teaching it wasn't something he liked. AJ kept a close eye onto the floating fairy, he recalled Marosa was also a fairy, but why there was such a big difference between the two? The boil was puzzled while he didn't know his batter started to shimmer. Head was totally attractive by the pharisaical teacher. She was too sparkly not to stare at, head with its dragon instinct, had a liking over shiny stuff would like to add her into its hoard. Luckily, its attention was shifted as AJ started his mixing. " Oh AJ, the bells are tinkling!' It jiggled its big head with the chime they created and a duet was formed. As an apprentice of baking, he knew the perfect time to stop. When he did so, he was rather surprise to find the batter was sparkling, like many pair of non-stop blinking eyes. Jacking! There were fairy dusts in the powder, he bet. Quote: 12: Your batter is sparkling more than some vampires. Dang. You detect a hint of grudging respect in the Professor's smile. Mixing Done! Student: AJ Mixing Score: 12!

Efflo was smiling widely, never a good sign, and he scooted closer to Gabby, offering up his spoon. “Want a little taste of victory?”

If he had one good thing to say about this whole exchange thing it would be that at least most of the professors he had met so far smelt good enough to eat, the latest purple fairy one no exception. Wiggling in his seat Tavi watched idly as the professor explain what they would be doing today, or more of a first step in what they would be doing. Said step which happened to be more baking....Joy.
When the bowls of ingredients appeared before them Tavi's sprung to mixing, taking up a fast rough pace and splattering his owns cheeks with some of the batter. Giggling at the splash he was nearly tempted to lick it off but barely managed to contained himself. After all he wasn't sure yet he could trust these so called better ingredients just because they smelt good, since it didn't mean they would taste good.
Peering down into his bowl for a progress check Tavi decided that one good long stir had really been enough. His batter was mostly smooth and though it didn't have as much sparkle as some of the creeples next to him, it was good enough for him. Grinning he made a spooky face in the batter then sat back down in his chair to jingle the bells on the end of the spoon impatiently. After a few jingles though the kitsune's ears were flat to his head and lips pouted from boredom. On an impish grin his thoughts turned to one horseman, or rather on how one particular horseman would deal with all the joy around Halloween. On a giggle he pulled out his eyephone sneakily and sent said pony a fast message to join him if he could. Looking over his contacts list he paused over one and without a seconds guilt sent off a text to Rosy as well.

Amarus had no desire to bite the pretty sparkly house, her eyes narrowing as she scanned it. She kind of wanted to throw something at it to test the durability. She had somehow stumbled upon another baking course, apparently, and that made her smile internally. Externally, however, her expression was blank as per usual.
She took her bowl in hand, and mixed it briskly, without even looking. Its texture would tell her, and the timing had to be just right.
Yeah, she really should have looked, or even made sure she was mixing the right thing. As she looked down, she realized what she'd mistaken for what she had b een mixing was full of broken ornaments. Who the jack had put those in there?
When she blinked, they were gone. She'd just imagined it.
What.

The first thing Amarus did before beginning to stir the mix again was to remove the stupid huge bow from her long-handled spoon, though she did pocket the bells.
Who was she kidding, she was basically a delinquent anyway.

The mix smelled weird.
She hated Christmas town.
Amarus checked to see if the guest professor was watching, and reached into her robe, pulling out a vial of her essence. One of the few left. She uncorked it and dripped a third of it in, making this a very potent narcotic gingerbread house.
She smiled, just faintly, as the pink-purple haze floated up from it; the smoke was a visual remnant of what she'd just poured in, but it would dissipate soon, leaving Amarus feeling very happy.

Being more content and chill about the mixing was making this a little easier. She was going to decorate this in Halloween colours, out of pride. Or perhaps Aegis colours? Hmm.
The narcotic had taken hold of her, and Amarus was now mixing as if it was natural, content because the weird smell of the batter had been masked by her own sweet lotus smell. She was pretty pleased with herself. She didnt' bother to look around to see who had done a better job (someone must have, and normally she was very competitive).
Instead, she leaned back, waiting for the next step. She took the time to fasten the two new bells to her outfit, enjoying the festive jingling.
