Air Mainipulation and Enhanced Swordsmanship▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ✰ ◀ ◁ ◀ ◁ ◀Jaye found himself walking the streets of Elderahn, not having been there in quite a while and not remembering where most things were. It was apparently still the time where they celebrated their All Hallow's Eve, seeing all the decorations still up and wishing they had gotten there sooner for the party, having been one year and enjoying it fairly well. As the man wandered, he looked at all the shops, some new and some old, most he didn't remember were there since he didn't usually remember many places he'd been. It might be easier to stay at the Inn this week instead of the ship he thought, debating about it for a moment before shrugging, feeling like he was better suited to sleeping in his ship. Having been at sea for most of his life except to make port, Jaye didn't know much about the war between the humans and high elves, only having heard rumors that the men on his ship told. He sometimes felt they were just trying to get a rise out of him since he himself was a human. As Jaye walked about the village, he got a couple strange looks from people from his long sword, probably because they thought he was a new guard around. ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ◀ ◁ ◀ ◁ ◀OCC:

Vita Lambert  Vita was wandering around the village trying to find a store. She enjoyed shopping but this small town didn't have the giant more expensive stores she was used to. Everything was so small. She at least wanted to find some place to find paints but she found herself lost. She crossed her arms angrily and looked around in the middle of the street. Looking around she spotted a man with a long sword. Assuming the man was a guard she thought he might know where some things were...They were public servants. Approaching him she looked up at him. "You. Sir. I need you to help me." she said in a demanding tone.

Air Mainipulation and Enhanced Swordsmanship▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ✰ ◀ ◁ ◀ ◁ ◀Jaye continued down the street, trying to remember where the bath house was in this village, remembering it was fairly big the last time he was there before noticing Vita talking to him. Looking around a moment to make sure she wasn't talking to someone else, the captain walked over to her, his palm on the butt of his sword casually and non threatening since that;s how he usually walked around. "Is some'sing wrong mademoiselle?" Jaye asked, his french accent thick. His blonde hair was back in a loose ponytail and there was scruff on his face from not having shaved in a bit. Vita Lambert Vita smiled at the man and placed her hand on her chin. "Oh, not from around here I see." she said with a sly smile, she had only heard that accent from royalty from people who visited her house when she was younger. She studied his face and decided it was rather attractive. "Well. I assumed you're a guard, not everyone is armed with such a large weapon as that." she said motioning to his sword. "But well...since you don't sound like you're from here I doubt you'd be able to even help me in the way I originally intended." she said with a smile.

"I's that obvious eh?" the captain asked her, not expecting an answer before looking down at his weapon and smiling before back up at Vita. "Probably not... I haven't been here in a very long time, so much has changed," he said, looking around, still taking it all in. Vita Lambert Vita scowled a bit. "Well if you haven't been here in years I bet you don't even know where anything is." she said in a slightly annoyed tone. She smiled a bit as he bowed to her, she was used to being bowed to where she came from. It was a rather dramatic change to not have servants bowing to her when she walked down the halls. "Well, at least you know how to treat a woman...somewhat. Though the bow could be a bit deeper...it was kind of a s**t bow. But at least you tried. Where are you from?"

"My apologies, Mademoiselle," he said, redoing the bow, deeper this time before standing straight and letting out a small chuckle. "Well if you must know, my home is the sea. Vita Lambert She gave a small nod of approval. "Much more appropriate." Her smile fell "Oh? The sea? So you're a ...pirate." she said in slight disgust. Crinkling her nose she looked up at him. "So...how does one even bathe on a ship? The ocean water isn't very good for skin I would imagine...When was the last time you even washed yourself." she said with a light laugh. "And you have the honor of speaking to Vita Smallwood of House Small wood of the first angles, master of the arts, expert marksman, third heir to the Smallwood estate. " she said with a smug smile. Although she knew her true last name was Lambert, when she met new people she still claimed her last name as Smallwood. No one had even heard of a Lambert.

He can configure clean water for all of us to use when we want. He's also very good at helping us through storms, although it would be nice to actually bathe in warm water," the captain explained with a smile and a slight laugh, the water they used being fairly cold most of the time. "It is a pleasure to meet a woman as lovely as yourself, madame Smallwood," he added, taking Vita's hand in his and kissing the top of it before letting it go. ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ◀ ◁ ◀ ◁ ◀OCC:

Vita Lambert Vita stared at him with a small frown. "You know cold water doesn't wash you as well as warm water. But it clearly does a good enough job since I can't smell you from here." When he took her hand and kissed it she smiled slightly. "Well at least you know flattery can get you rather far in this world..." Even though he seemed to be lowborn he was still very attractive. "So why stop here? How long are you in town for?"

"Currently...I am paid up for the week at port. We come around here every so often since I like the place and it does good business in both markets. I'm also looking to recruit some new members to teach them the ropes since I've had a few leave, so depending on how good business is, I could stay longer," the captain explained, trying to weigh the odds of him staying longer than a week. It was his duty to find and help sign the new recruits but he could always push that off on his first mate since he was quite interested in what new things Elderahn had since his last visit. ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ◀ ◁ ◀ ◁ ◀OCC:

We don't take things from anyone and we certainly don't raid villages and rape women or else that would be what was happeing right now," the man said with a smile. "We sail the seas and trade goods we have for other, more valuable goods most of the time while also exploring places we've never been before," Jaye was quite the well off captain as well, paying his men fairly. Most of his crew wouldn't give a bad name to him with the exception of a couple who thought he should be more intimidating and start fights more, raiding other ships and such but that wasn't how Jaye saw pirating. ▷ ▶ ▷ ▶ ▷ ◀ ◁ ◀ ◁ ◀OCC:

 William Hartford/ Mood CuriousPowers: Super Strength and Thick SkinWilliam was frustrated that the one thing he needed to use for fishing he managed to forget to grab. Knowing better he couldn't help but kick himself. The bustle of the streets, the friendly faces didn't even help him. Words started floating around of potential pirates at the docks. "I better see what kind of goods they may have. And if they really are pirates as everyone says, who knows, I'll at least see if they have any bait." William laughed to himself because the likelihood of a pirate ever admitting so knows not of what trouble they could cause. On his way through town, William noticed some sailors moving into town and one he saw talking to a high elf.

Vita Lambert Vita crossed her arms and raised her eye brows. Well...then you're not really a pirate are you? You're more of a merchant with a boat."she said flatly. " And of course you wouldn't be doing it here. This village is rather well protected and you would of most likely easily been stopped." She let out a slightly annoyed sigh.
