Scaramouche Fandango Rokku goes to show tomorrow! Wish him luck, because if he doesn't win, he sulks. If he wins, he gets a shiny ribbon and is happy. You mean show as in 4H?

Yes, 4H is one show that we do. We also showed at a reptile convention, but he didn't get a purple ribbon at that one. It's a shame small pets isn't a 4H state event... it's just county.

Yea, but there's too much variety for state I guess. My sister showed her hedgehog at county a few years ago.

Seriously.
He was all cute for a while, doing the little koi beg and giving me kisses. Now?
He's just frickin' scary. Why, you ask?
Simple: HIS EYELID!
The fish has an EYELID!! FISH SHOULDN'T HAVE EYELIDS!!! gonk
It's seriously creeping me out. He only has one eyelid, and every now and again he BLINKS ( gonk ) with it!!
Oh well. He's still really cute and does the little koi beg thing and gives me kisses. i love my freaky mutant fish.

I thought fish were supposed to have eyelids. And if he only has one, isn't he winking then? xd

Nope, normal fish don't have eyelids. They don't even have the clear scale that covers their eyes like snakes do. This is because they live in water and don't have to worry about their eyes drying out or the wind blowing something in them.
